Jim Katsoulis criticizes the all-or-nothing dieting mindset, arguing that expecting immediate perfection guarantees failure. He recommends aiming for small, sustainable improvements ("1% better" daily) and promotes resources (a free hypnosis session and video via his bio) to help achieve and maintain goal weight.

You dieters think that you're going to start day one of your diet being 100% perfect, and you're going to ride that perfection out to your goal weight, which is absolutely ridiculous. How are you going to go from someone who has struggled to make good food choices consistently to the next day being someone who makes only perfect food choices? That mindset is setting you up for failure, because as soon as you make a mistake, it feels catastrophic and it's completely blowing you off the course. So I would suggest a much better mindset that sets you up for success is where you start day one looking to get 1% better, make a small change that seems sustainable, and keep building on that each and every day. And a year from now, you will be shocked at where you are compared to that other approach. And if you have no idea how to do this, go to the link in my bio, get the hypnosis session I give you for free, then watch the video that I made for you, because it will lay out not just how to lose weight, but how to live at your goal weight.
