How to eat the foods you like and still lose weight. So this is really the holy grail of weight loss, isn't it? Where you can eat the foods you like to eat and still lose the weight that you want and you can do it. The secret comes down to eating like a thin person. And what that means is training yourself to eat differently. So you can still eat those foods, but you need to eat less of them. And so there's two key ways to do this. The first one is to become more mindful when you're eating. You cannot eat those foods on autopilot mindlessly, because you will just eat them the way you always have. You need to be more mindful and present in the moment so that you eat the right amount. The second thing is to come up with strategies that help you limit how much you're eating. So, for example, if you used to eat ice cream out of the container, a better strategy is to take a scoop of it and put it in a bowl. And so what that does is it shrinks down the serving size. Now, again, this doesn't guarantee that you're not going to go for another scoop, but what it does is it starts you down the path of learning how to eat like a thin person.
