Do you ever feel like the hungry caterpillar? Remember, the caterpillar kept eating and eating and eating and never got full. Well, here's four tips to prevent that. Number one, eat more nutrients. You understand that when you don't have enough calories, your body sends you a signal to eat more. Well, the same thing happens with nutrients. And with the modern American diet. A lot of times we're nutrient deficient because we're not eating enough natural foods. So as you start increasing your nutrient density of the food you're eating, you're going to feel more satisfied. Number two, drink more water. It's estimated 70% of the population is at least mildly dehydrated. This is a problem because your body interprets dehydration a lot of times as hunger. Number three, Three, relax more Stress triggers hunger in our bodies, so you want to dedicate a little bit of time each day to relaxing yourself. And finally, number four, to get more sleep. When you don't sleep, you wake up tired. And when you're tired, your body's hungrier because it's looking for more quick energy. So the more you sleep, not only will you reduce your hunger, but you also increase your ability to choose the right foods.
