Flour and sugar cause blood-glucose spikes that trigger insulin overshoots, crashing your blood sugar and making you hungry again. Breaking the spike-crash cycle by cutting these carbs lets you feel full longer.

If you feel hungry all the time, the first thing I would look at is how much powder a day are you eating? When I say powder, I mean flour and sugar. When we eat flour and sugar, it's absorbed very quickly into our bodies, and it spikes our blood sugar. Then our body has to release insulin, which it's not good at measuring because we've never had to deal with these kind of spikes of glucose in all of human history. So we usually overshoot the insulin. And so we have this spike, and then we crash. And now we're starving. Then we eat more powder. Spike, crash, spike, crash. So notice if you're on this roller coaster and begin to wean out the flour and sugar, and you're going to notice that you feel more satisfied. Ah.
