Put that over here. There we go. Hey, everyone. Welcome to today's Program Yourself Thin Podcast. Today we're talking about changing how you feel about unhealthy food. Now, this is, in my opinion, pretty much the foundational piece of program yourself, then that makes it different than diets, because most diets you're going to approach and subconsciously you're going to think about food the same way, right? So think about whatever food you may struggle with. Maybe it's ice cream, pizza, cookies, cake, doesn't matter. Think about a food you may struggle with. And when you think about going on a diet, what you're imagining is that you're going to feel the same way about it, right? You're going to crave it, you're going to desire, you're going to think about it, you're going to want it. It's pleasurable, it's enjoyable, and you want it. But you want to lose weight, so you have to stop yourself. So your subconscious associations, the way you think about the food is going to stay the same. You're going to want it, crave it, like it, all these things are going to stay the same. But what's going to be different is you're going to bring in some willpower to stop, stop yourself. Now, metaphorically, the way I think about this, it's kind of like you are driving your car with your foot on the gas pedal and you want to stop, but you don't pull your foot off the gas pedal. You keep it on the gas pedal, and then you just really push down hard on the brake. You see what I'm saying? So a lot of times, psychologically, the way you're trying to lose weight, the way you're thinking on a healthy food, it's like you got the gas pedal pushed down and you're craving it, wanting it, thinking about it, creating desire for it, and then you're relying on your brake, your willpower to stop yourself from doing it. And as you can imagine, if you did this with your car, if you stepped on the gas and then tried to step on the brake extra hard to stop yourself, that takes a ton of energy. It's not an efficient way to stop yourself. It's a very inefficient way. So what we want to do, in my opinion, with program yourself then anyways, is we're looking to change the way that you think and then ultimately feel about unhealthy food. Right now, the feeling and thinking are intimately related, right? If you think about your favorite food, I'm just Going to use, for example, let's just talk about a cookie, right? Let's just say you love cookies. And when you think about cookies, the way that you think about cookies, what you say to yourself about cookies, the memories you have about them, all the. The ways that you think about it create positive feelings for it, desire, cravings for that food. But it's created because of the way you think about it. And you know this because have you ever in your life had an experience where maybe you're kind of getting sick and right before you really got full blown sick, you ate something you like and then you got really sick and maybe you associated all of a sudden that food with being sick, right? So I don't know if you ever had that experience. People often have this with alcohol, but so it even happens with food, right? You can eat your favorite food and then that night you get really sick because of something completely different. But now your mind links them together and now you start to think of that food differently. Okay, so this is a real thing you can do. The way you think about food is very malleable. This is why we have food commercials. Because food commercials are literally trying to program you, train you to think about food in a way that drives you to go and get it. It's. They're seeking to crank up your desire and cravings for that food. But just like you can crank up desire and cravings for food through commercials and the way that you think about them, you can limit in reduce desire and craving for foods based on how you think about them. So how do you do this? It's not the way you've been doing it, because I know how you've been trying to do this is you try and say, oh, I don't know any cookies because I want to lose weight. That's not going to work because again, your brain is focused on the short term, right? And so a lot of times if you're thinking about the cookie and you really want it, your brain is saying, that's pleasurable, I want the pleasure. And if you say no, it feels like deprivation. It feels like an absence of pleasure. Okay? So the way that you shift your mind so you start thinking differently about the unhealthy food is we've got to stay in the realm of reality and we have got to stay short term. This is why the weight impact of the food is really not a strong motivator compared to the instant gratification of eating it. So what do you do? The secret is to focus on the consequence phase that Starts six seconds after your last bite. There's three phases of eating. Anticipation, consumption, consequence, and your entire life through food ads, and you've seen tens of millions of food ads in your life. You have been fixated and focused on the anticipation and consumption of the food, the getting it, the eating it. And when you focus on the getting and the eating of the food, you crank up your desire and cravings for that food. But when you start training yourself to focus on that consequence phase, that starts six seconds after the last bite, everything changes. So metaphorically, if I told you, let's imagine there's a situation where every time you choose kind of the, the wrong food, the food you want to avoid, if every time you eat that, I pop out of the closet and whack your thumb with a hammer. Every time, how many times would it take for me to whack your thumb with a hammer? Every time you made the wrong food choice, how many times would it take before you thought about eating and you said, ah, you know what? I'm going to skip it. Right. Why would you do that? Because it's instant. You see what I mean? Yes. There's the, the pleasure of the, the food, but right on the other side of that, so the pain of getting your thumb whacked with a hammer. Okay, so when we do it this way, when we approach your food with this methodology, what you're doing is you're actually working with how your nervous system works. Your nervous system doesn't give a about what your weight's going to be a week from now, a month from now. If you eat something now, it doesn't care. It just says, we'll eat the cookie now and then we're going to diet tomorrow. You know what I mean? So it's not going to work. But when you say, yeah, I can have the cookie now, it could taste good. But six seconds after I finish, then I feel full, I feel lethargic, I feel frustrated, I feel annoyed with myself. I feel off track. That starts to impact you differently because it's absolutely true, you'll never avoid it. That consequence fate is unavoidable. Now, you can be in denial about it. Don't get me wrong. You can absolutely ignore the consequence phase. You can completely disassociate and not pay attention to it. That is an option for you. You probably are doing that now to some degree. But if you pay attention and you look at that consequence phase, it's always there. And when you overeat, especially when you choose the wrong foods, what's going to happen is that consequence phase is a lot worse than you've been realizing, and not just because of the weight. Yes, the weight's one piece of it, but the way bigger piece is that six seconds after you finish that behavior, six seconds after you finish overeating, binging, choosing the wrong foods, now the consequence really starts. And ironically, the consequence phase is the longest one. That consequence phase can last an hour to 20 hours, days, potentially, depending how bad it was. And so what happens is you start thinking negatively, you start getting frustrated, saying mean things to yourself, feeling bad, you start feeling negative emotions. You feel frustrated, annoyed, shame, guilt, all these negative emotions. And then physiologically, there's a response. You eat, you overeat a ton of food, you're got kind of a food hangover, right? Your energy goes down, your body doesn't feel as comfortable, it's harder to move, harder to get yourself to do things. So again, if you will start paying attention to that consequence, it is always there and it's almost always negative when you overeat, binge, choose the wrong foods. So as you start paying attention to this, what happens is your brain starts to think of those foods differently. Because remember, everything is good and bad. The food is good and bad. It's good, it tastes good in the moment while you're eating it. It's fun to look forward to it, it's fun to eat it. That's good. But then it's bad because there's a. There's a consequence. You do feel frustrated with yourself. You do start being negative with yourself. You do start feeling negative emotions. You do physically start to feel less than great. Those are just as real. They're both real. The question is, which one are you going to focus on? Well, that's up to you. But if you start focusing on the consequences, what's naturally going to happen is you're going to start changing how you think about these foods. And you are naturally and automatically going to start choosing healthier options and saying no to the unhealthy stuff. Not because you want to lose weight, but because you want to feel better and you don't want to feel like. And that is the thing that's really going to drive you in the direction you want to go in, because that's a motivation that's much stronger. It works much more with your brain and your nervous system. And it's kind of the way that really works with you as a human to bring you where you want to go. And it's much more powerful than just focusing on the Weight. So I hope you give this a little bit of shot, you know, effort here, focus on your consequences over the next couple days, and you'll see everything I'm saying is absolutely true. I promise you, I guarantee it. Okay? And if you want extra support with this, make sure you go click the link in my bio, go get the free hypnosis session I give you, go watch the training video I made for you, and I got a bunch of cool stuff coming for you as well. But that stuff's all free. Go check it out. You can go to program yourself then, or click the link in my bio. And if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask them. I am here every Monday through Friday. Answer your questions. These last two weeks have been a little crazy, but here we are, here we are back again. So I hope you're all having a good day. And yes, any way I can help you, I'm happy to do. I did see someone's question. Goodbye. There it is. Anna says, what if I'm afraid to get skinny because my mom or my friends would be jealous? Yes, great question. Okay. And I want everyone to think about this because regardless if it's the specific emotion of jealousy or it's the specific relationship of your mom or her friends or whatever, there are almost always when you want to lose weight, an aspect of it that is based around other people's response to you. Okay? Whether it's family, friends, co workers, it doesn't matter. Like, a lot of times when you want to lose weight, you really ought to reflect on how your weight loss or how you believe your weight loss is going to impact the people in your life that matter to you. And you should really consider this, because I have found this to be a fundamental piece of the process that really does impact us. And so here's an example, right? Well, if I lose weight, someone close to me is going to be jealous, right? That they're going to start to say shitty things to me, right? And so we might avoid. We might not want to do that. And I'm telling you, this is so common. This is why I say that most people weigh what they want to weigh. There's a lot of people that are overweight that think they want to lose weight, but deep down they don't because of reasons like this. They don't want their mom and her friends to be jealous. They don't want your. Your co workers to be jealous and say shitty things to you that you don't want to feel like an outsider. And by the way, losing weight, being Healthy being at the weight you want to be at makes you an outlier in the society. And we live in a society where 75% of the population is overweight or obese. So being a thin, healthy, happy person with your body makes you weird. That's a thing you really gotta. You gotta deal with. I literally changed my whole friend group completely. In order to live the way I live, they were completely at odds. And so I had to make difficult decisions, but they were decisions that I wanted to make. It's what I chose, what I wanted to do. It was not easy, but it's what I felt like I really wanted to do. So again, make sure that you, you know, really consider what you're going to do and how it's going to impact other people. Right? Because if you don't, I promise you, it becomes a subconscious factor that. That's probably going to limit you. So again, how do you actually deal with that, though? Okay, so once you acknowledge it and realize it, the question becomes, what am I going to do? Right? My. My mom might get jealous if I lose weight, so how do I want to handle that? Because what I like to do is I like to turn it into a decision. See, a lot of times when we're not aware of that factor, we just kind of subconsciously avoid losing weight so we don't upset the person, right? So I want to bring that factor out and look at it and say, okay, my mom might get jealous if I lose weight, so what do. What am I going to do? Well, what's my decision? Am I going to continue to be overweight so that she's not jealous, or am I going to lose weight and manage this in some way? And I think when you put the question that way, it clarifies it, because a lot of times you haven't thought of the question that way. And again, you've just been keeping the weight on and you're kind of like, well, I don't want to upset her anyway, so whatever. But when you take the question out and put it in front of you, say, okay, am I going to decide? Right. Make a decision intentionally? Am I going to decide to be overweight so that I can keep my mom happy, or am I going to lose the weight and learn how to manage that? And I think when you ask the question that way, it can be very clarifying and that might help move you forward. All right, but that's such a great question. That is so common. Yes. How people are going to respond to us is really, really important for a Lot of us, and ironically, a lot of people, when we become healthier or lose weight, they don't respond the way we thought they would. They're not necessarily supportive, encouraging because of this stuff. Sometimes they are jealous, sometimes they're frustrated. They can't change. I mean, again, there's a lot of reasons why a person may respond the way they do, but it's a real thing because people do respond and you got to deal with it. And so there's a good chance if you're overweight and you have not been losing weight, there's a very good chance that you're subconsciously not losing weight in order to maintain a relationship in your life. Very, very common. Alvina, how's it going? Is it possible to lose big amounts of weight? Yeah, obviously. Yep, it's definitely possible to lose big amounts of weight. You know, for morbidly obese, is it possible to lose weight with your program or is surgery necessary? I will say, I mean, I will absolutely front, front center, say when, if you're morbidly obese, you got a big path in front of you. No matter what surgery, injections, program yourself thin. I mean, you've got, you've got a path in front of you. Yes. So it's harder for you than it would be for someone who's slightly overweight, obviously, right? I think that's obvious. But I just want to say it, that being said, yes, absolutely, you can lose lots of weight because ultimately, even if you got surgery, by the way, even if you've got gastric bypass, you still at some point are going to have to deal with your mindset, your lifestyle and your eating. That's a thing a lot of people don't realize. I've worked with a lot of people that have gotten gastric bypass, and even though you get the surgery, you still gotta manage this stuff. A lot of people that get gastric. Gastric bypass is statistically the most effective way to manage your weight so far. And that being said, it doesn't work for everyone. And there's a lot of people that will lose weight and then put it back on too. So it's not a cure all, it's not a guarantee. And so even if you, even if you lose weight with gastric bypass, you are still going to have to manage your mindset, your lifestyle and your eating. And so I think that's really, really important to understand. And it makes me insane that even if you go through western medicine and you go and get gastric bypass surgery, you will get virtually no psychological Emotional support A and B, no one's teaching you how to have a thin, healthy mindset because no one even knows how to have a thin and healthy mindset anyways. That's another story. So yes, absolutely, you can lose a huge amount of weight with Program Yourself, then it will be a longer path for you though. I mean you just, you have a longer path in front of you anyways. But then the other side is this too in terms of what's a longer path and what's not, is that how long you want to keep the weight off for. You know, again, longer paths. And people's impatience is such a funny thing when you really reflect on it because people are so impatient to lose weight on one hand, but then on the other hand they want to keep the weight off forever. So what's the impatience? You know what I mean? Like, like again, you have to shift your focus from losing weight to living at your goal weight. And so if it took a year, two years, five years, you know what I mean? If you're morbidly obese, I mean you've got to have a multi year time frame in your mind. You've got to think of this like going to college, maybe it takes you four years, maybe it takes you 10 years. But again with Program Yourself then we're really aiming at a real genuine resolution. And unfortunately, gastric bypass isn't necessarily a resolution, it's the most effective resolution. But again, understand with gastric bypass that resolution is not without side effects or effects however you want to look at it. So you know that gastric bypass path is not an easy one. There are a lot of challenges with that. Understand it's not easy. And same with the injections and the injections, if you're morbidly obese, the injections, you know, there's a good chance you'll get down to obese because you'll lose weight for 16 months. And a lot of morbidly obese people that do the injections get down to obese level and then you won't lose any more weight and then you have to take that injection forever. And you still haven't dealt with the mindset, lifestyle eating piece of it. You know, you've kind of dealt with eating piece in the sense that you're just eating less, but you haven't really optimized your eating. You haven't learned how to create an eating blueprint, an eating plan built for you that lets it let you thrive, that works best for you. You're not going to learn that necessarily so again, I mean, to me, and again, I'm not against any of these things, by the way. I think GLP1s, I think surgeries have their place. So I want to be crystal clear about that. I'm not a hater of all these things. I think they've got their place. But I think no matter what path you're going to take, whether it's any of those, somewhere along the way, if you're truly going to live at your goal for the rest of your life, you're going to have to deal with your mindset, your lifestyle and your reading. So that's kind of my answer to that. What's up, Billy? Billy says I'm a musician currently on tour. Food is everywhere. This is a great mindset to keep in mind the consequence. Thanks, Jim. Yeah, you're welcome, Billy. And that's a great example. Yeah. Because if you're a musician on tour, again, depending on what your goals are, and I'm sure part of your goals is that you want to perform at a really high level. Okay. And so, you know, I know I don't know what your schedule is, but if you have a typical kind of musician schedule, might be more geared towards evening time. And so for me, I would absolutely use this consequence focus that I don't want to eat a bunch of bullshit after the show because then it affects my sleep, then I wake up kind of tired, and then I can't perform at the level I want. So, you know, now I'm doing two things. I'm focusing on consequence, but I'm also wrapping that consequence around something that really, really matters to me. And this is just another piece of the puzzle that's really important. That for most people, wanting to lose weight is not enough motivation. I know you think it is, but it's not. And a lot of times what we want to do and program yourself, then we wrap our weight loss motivation around things that we're already motivated about. And so what are things you're already motivated about? Typical things, your work, your being a parent, your relationships, you know, your hobbies, whatever is really jazzes you up. Things you do consistently in your life. Right. Things that are really important to you, people that are really important to you. If you start wrapping your weight loss around those things, you're going to find a much more powerful motivation. Okay, so, for example, if you're a musician, I don't want to just be like, oh, I just want to lose weight so I look better. That's fine. I mean, you can have that goal okay. But underneath that, the primary part of the goal is I want to. If I'm a musician, I want to perform. I want to be the. I want to give the best performance I can. Right? It feels good. It jazzes me up, you know, I mean, it kind of charges me up. That's how I make my money, perhaps, you know what I mean? It's going to lead to more opportunities. And so being a musician, if you're a professional, that's a real important thing to you. And so what I would do is I would start noticing the consequences of how my eating is affecting my ability to perform at the level I want to. To have the career that I want to. And very quickly, you're going to realize they're directly related. They're directly. They're as related the food to being the performing to be as directly related as substances. You start using substances, you know, eventually you're not going to be able to perform at the same level, you know, and so when you start looking at. Through this lens, you're going to find your brain starts rewiring itself a little differently and starts to look at these foods in a different way, you know, where you start to see the negative consequences of them. And so you naturally, you know, want to avoid that, you know, I see. Billy said. Exactly. You nailed it. The post show, awful food choice. Yeah, I'm already getting made fun of for always wanting a salad post show. And yes, I want to give the best performance. Yeah, exactly. See, this is what I mean. Think about this, right? So Billy could spend the next 20 years trying to motivate themselves to. I just really want to lose weight. I really want to lose weight. And the weight loss motivation, folks, have you not experienced this? Your weight loss motivation comes and goes. Have you not noticed that? What the. It's like, you know what I mean? It's like talk about something that's right in front of all of us that we don't see, none of us see. And what's happening is you all get really motivated about your weight for a little while, and then that motivation disappears. Your weight, your weight. Motivation, for most people is a very conditional motivator. It comes and it goes. But then we look at the motivation. You have to be, you know, the musician you want to be, the performer, you want to be the parent, you want to be the spouse, you want to be the employer, business owner. You want to be, again, whatever is important in your life. That motivation is there every single day. You know what I mean? Like, again, you have days regularly where, you know, you don't want to get out of bed, you're tired, you want to sleep, but you get up. Because I want to get a check. I want to support people. I want to do what I got to do. That motivation is rock solid. So that's the motivation we want to build around. And it's not a hard stretch to say. Again, all it would take was Billy. It would take Billy a week or two to just start paying attention to. When I eat salads after the show, oh, I start playing better. I give a better performance, and it's easier when I eat like shit after the show. Giving a better performance is a struggle. Like, that's the truth of the situation. There's no way around it. Now, again, I'm not saying that, you know, sometimes there's little outlier things, but as a pattern, this always the same for all of us. When we eat like shit, we feel like shit. And that affects our performance in the areas that are most important in our lives. When we eat well, when we live well, we perform better in the areas that matter most. Knowledge. I mean, there's no gray space with that fact. It's always the same. And so as you appreciate that and notice it, this is not me brainwashing you or tricking you. I'm not blowing smoke up your ass. I mean, it's absolutely true that when you eat well, live well, you. You perform better in your life because you feel better. And when you eat like, and live like, you feel more sluggish, and you don't perform as well in your life. There's no exceptions. So, you know, again, once you realize that, it's like, it's very clarifying. It's like you put a new pair of glasses on, you're seeing the world the way it is. And so that's what I'm trying to tell you. There's no escaping from that reality, that fact. And once you step into that, though, again, it's transformative. It brings your motivation to a whole nother level, because now you're attaching your eating to something that truly does matter to you at a very high level, which is your ability to perform it the way that you want to. All right, ME says, just want to say you're such a blessing to this world. So happy I found your program. Thank you, Malvina. I appreciate that. Yeah, and I'm glad. Glad you're here as well. And again, I know I want to make something clear. I get someone write to me. I've been talking about my circle, community and right now I currently have that for my clients. My clients are in there and it's all set up. But I was talking about I'm gonna have a free section. So even if you're not part of the official program, I got a ton of free stuff coming for you. I'm gonna help you anyways. But that is not available yet. So I just want to make that clear because I think I was a little unclear about it. So it's not available yet. You can't get into it. So if it wasn't working, it's because it's just not set up yet. Now if you're in the program, it is set up and working. But again, when I get back in August, that will come online and that will be available to you all. So I will be helping you all regardless. Just want y' all know that. What's up, Regina? Gina says I travel to Europe a lot and the food is so much better. I wish it was the same here. Do you believe the Americans foods will change less chemicals? I ain't holding my breath for that. You know what I mean? So again, I think there's just too much financial interest at play, you know, in my opinion, and I will tell you too, again, you know, food is a spectrum, you know, in terms of what we consider healthy and unhealthy. And I think, you know, the fact that we're going to get rid of dyes, great. You know, I mean, again, I'm all for that, by the way, I'm all for that. But that is a drop in the bucket of how shitty the food quality is here in America. So I, in my lifetime, I would never be able to trust outside forces to. I, I have no faith that outside forces are going to help me make better food choices. So I am not depending on the government or anyone outside of myself to change how I'm eating. You know what I know. So I take that all on myself. And so do I believe that American foods will change? I do. I do think that in the future, absolutely, there will be. There will be. I believe there's going to be like warning labels on the foods, foods that people eat just willy nilly right now. I can almost guarantee within 20 years, I believe there will start to be like warning labels like they put on cigarettes. I believe there will be warning labels on a lot of the foods that people are eating. So I do believe that. But I ain't waiting for that either. You know, again, I don't think you all should either because you do not want to spend the next 10, 20 years putting this in your body. It's toxic. It's, it's as dangerous to you as the cigarettes were. Literally. Literally, you know, and so, yeah, I mean, other places in the world have much better food. But the good news is in America, you can have great food. Let it be known we live in the Garden of Eden. So, yes, you constantly are being influenced and manipulated. Eat bullshit. But if you can step into the right mind space and create the right strategies, most people can, you know, do have access to amazing food quality. Now, I'm not saying everyone, but a lot of people really, really do. And so, but you've got to educate yourself. You'll, you, in your lifetime are never going to have that education foisted on you. You're never gonna, you know what I mean? You're not gonna go through any school where you learn about this stuff. You're not gonna have any program on TV that really teaches you about this. So you've gotta take it on yourself. That's what I do. You know what I mean? That's what I had to learn myself. Again, I always say, program yourself. Thin is my over 30 years of obsessive studying the mindset, lifestyle and eating of thin, healthy, happy people and sharing it with you. And a huge component of that is learning about food. Absolutely. Because we've been bullshitted about food our entire lives. You know, it's literally, you know what I mean? Like, you look at how the cigarettes, you know, I mean, look at the history of cigarettes, right? That's exactly what's going on with the food. And literally the food companies are literally the cigarette companies. Just so you know, just I want you to know this. RJR Reynolds and Nabisco are, are literally, they're merged together. The same company, the parent company of General Foods and Craft is Philip Morris. So the, the food companies at this point are these cigarette companies and they're using the exact same tactics of making the most addictive product possible, using the most aggressive marketing they possibly can to get you hooked on it and to sit on the science of how harmful it is for you. And so that's the reality that we are living. Craft is Philip Morris. So the, the food companies at this point are these cigarette companies and they're using the exact same tactics of making the most addictive product possible, using the most aggressive marketing they possibly can to get you hooked on it and to sit on the science of how harmful it is for you. And so that's the reality that we are living in. Right now, and if you want to be at the mercy of that, then that's. That's a choice that you have. Now, you did not have that choice until you realize it, I suppose. But that's why I get out here every day to let you realize that that's what's going on. And you really have to take it upon yourself to reprogram yourself. That's what program yourself then is. I think about food completely different than I used to, 180 degrees different. And that shift in how I think about food is the foundational piece that allows me to maintain the weight I want to live at. So how it shows up in real life, I'm not fighting against cravings for unhealthy shit all the time. I don't have cravings for that shit a lot of times because of the way I think about it. You already do this with cigarettes, most likely, if you're a nonsmoker. You're not fighting off cravings all day for cigarettes. You just don't have any, because the way you think about cigarettes, you think they're disgusting. So you don't have any cravings. Your mindset of about cigarettes doesn't create any cravings for you. And so my new mindset that I have about food, because I've learned so much about it, my mindset about unhealthy food really eliminates a lot of cravings. Okay, not all of them, but a lot of cravings like fast food, I've learned so much about it, it's disgusting to me. A lot of processed foods, because I understand what's in them and what they do to my body and how I feel from them. I don't even want them, you know, so again, that your mindset's. What does the heavy lifting for you? And I don't think people understand this, and they try and rely on willpower, you know, so again, program yourself then. That's why we go through the mindset, lifestyle eating, in order to get those in line with being the person we want to be. My decision is not that other people will be jealous. It is. I am jealous of other people's weight. Yeah, no, I get it. I mean, the jealousy goes both ways. But again, we all have subconscious ideas that are usually holding us back. Any area in your life that you're kind of challenged with. What I like to do is explore the subconscious, you know, associations, ideas, beliefs that I have to kind of clarify the path forward. But, yeah, we all have subconscious feelings about what other people are going to think about us if we lose weight or if we're overweight, it goes. It's all the time. There's no avoiding it, right? If you're overweight, you're worried about what people are thinking about your weight. If you're on. If you're at your goal weight, you're worried about what people are gonna think about your weight, you know, and then you're worried about what other people's weight is, right? You're. You're close to someone, all of a sudden, they start losing weight and living healthier and all the rest of it, it's gonna make you feel bad. Most likely. Now, you know, one level, you're excited and happy for them, but on another level, emotionally, you're frustrated and annoyed with yourself that you're not doing that. You know? So, again, you have to understand that when you start living healthier and you start losing weight, what happens? Metaphorically, it's kind of like you're holding up a mirror to all the people in your life. And so a lot of times the negative response isn't because they're not happy for you. It's because they're feeling bad about their own situation, and they're just projecting that onto you. So, again, I mean, I could talk about this all day long, but it's a major factor, and it's one that typically has got to be dealt with in order to move forward in the direction you want. Um, so Janine. Janine says every night I say, I'm going to change the next day, exercise, eat better. But when I get up, I just feel like I fall back into the same routine habits. How can I break this cycle? Um, yeah, that's a great question. And that's so common. And I would say the way that I would break that cycle is I would break down what I was expecting myself to do. Okay, so right now, Janine, you've got a pattern. And I know everyone here can relate to this. You got this pattern where you say, okay, tomorrow I'm going to start exercising. Right, but what do you mean by exercising right? It's probably something like, go to the gym and work out for an hour, Go for an hour bike ride. It's probably something that's relatively intense. Now, your brain says it's no big deal. Your brain says, oh, you can do a half hour. That's not even a big deal. Now your brain minimizes it. But emotionally, it's overwhelming to you. The idea, whatever. In a. Janine, if you're still here, give me an example of what exercise you would Consider doing because I almost guarantee you it's overwhelming to you. People do this all the time. I did this to myself. I said I really got to work out. I really got to work out. I got to work out. Well, what's work out mean? My definition of working out meant that I got to get in the car at some point in my busy ass day, I've got to get in the car, go there, change or change before, into my gym clothes, do hard stuff, get all sweaty, come back, have to change back my regular clothes, take a shower. Now I'm up to an hour, right? I've driven, I've driven in traffic, I've taken up a lot of time, I've done something difficult and you know, that's how I'm thinking about it and that's why I avoided it. So how did I get myself to start exercising regularly? I started doing push ups right in my office before, you know, right when I start work and I do squats. And so what I do is I call this and program yourself. Then we call this reduced to the ridiculous. So instead of trying to get yourself to exercise with the exercise definition you've been trying to get yourself to do for the last 30 years and haven't done. And again, I'm just as guilty of this. I, I have been saying I got to exercise. Exercise means going to the gym. I did that to myself for 30 years, never did it in a consistent way. And all of a sudden when I start integrating simple things into my schedule that I live that are comfortable for me, doing push ups, all of a sudden I start, I've been doing it now I'm on probably four or five months, you know, and it really works for me. So what I would suggest is that you get more flexible and I would break the exercising down. I, I would break the eating down because again, I'm going to eat better tomorrow. I'm going to get up and I'm going to eat better. Well, what does that mean? Right, you should explore that because what that means for you is what's your definition of eating better? I bet. Now again, I don't know what your nutritional philosophy is, but I will give you an example of what most people's eat better really means. Oh, tomorrow I'm going to start eating better. I'm going to start my keto plan tomorrow, no more carbs, I'm going to start counting my calories tomorrow. I'm going to start not eating until 12 o' clock noon tomorrow, you know, and we throw this giant overwhelming thing on top of us. And so we think about doing something extreme, we get overwhelmed and we avoid doing it. So what's the alternative? What you all dieters have been trained to do is think that you need to rise to the occasion, just push through and do the really difficult, overwhelming thing. I do not agree with that. I think what you need to do is break it down into something way easier. Do, do five push ups in the morning, do six squats, do five jumping jacks. Okay, what do I want to do to eat better? Eat an apple in the morning, eat a banana in the afternoon, have a salad for lunch. Monday through Wednesday, I would do simple, comfortable things that are a lot easier to do just so I could start doing something healthier. So again, this all builds around the program yourself then concept of consistency over intensity. All of you people have been trained to be intense. The diets have trained you to do really intense shit. But you can only do that intense stuff for a little while. Again, I always say dieters are basically, they're people that have signed up to run a marathon, but they're going to, they're, they're on an outsmart everyone, because they're going to run the marathon like a sprinter. How could that plan go wrong, right? The gun goes off and they start sprinting as five o' clock, noon tomorrow, you know, and we throw this giant overwhelming thing on top of us. And so we think about doing something extreme, we get overwhelmed and we avoid doing it. So what's the alternative? What you all dieters have been trained to do is think that you need to rise to the occasion, just push through and do the really difficult, overwhelming thing. I do not agree with that. I think what you need to do as best as they can, and in the beginning of the race, they're way out ahead, everyone. Right? The. Holy shit, this really works. Oh, my God, look how, look how I'm way ahead, everyone. Yeah, the first eighth of the mile and then you collapse and don't even finish the race. And so that's what you dieters have been trained to think like. And so your mindset has been, you know, it's really a broken mindset for weight loss. That's why no one loses weight on a diet. But yeah, so again, the idea is to make what you want to do easier. And I know that's just like, you know, blasphemy for a dieter, you know, because then I want you to recognize that you dieters can only think about extreme things. If it's not really extreme, you can't get excited about it. And that is the, that is the trap of the diet. That's, that's literally you're all in a diet mental prison put there by the diet industry. And by the way, the diet industry is just a branch of the food industry. So you're never break it down into something way easier. Do, do five push ups in the morning, do six squats. Do five jumping jacks. Okay, what do I want to do to eat better? Eat an apple in the morning, eat a banana in the afternoon, have a salad for getting good information about how to live at your goal weight. Because again, you're listening to the food industry. Would you listen to McDonald's to tell you how to eat less of their food? Of course not. Right? Weight Watchers was owned by her lunch Monday through Wednesday. I would do simple, comfortable things that are a lot easier to do. Times Jenny Craig was owned by Nestle Atkins Food Products. Owned by the same company was onions, pretzels and Cinnabon Slim Fast owned by the same company as Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream. Like, does it really make any sense that these companies would want to eat less of their products? Right, that doesn't make any sense. You know, so, yeah, what's up, Jess? Jade? Jade says, but a lot of us never love cigarettes. Easier to have a mindset of indifference or even discussed about something you've always felt that way about. I love food that doesn't love me back. No, I get that. I get that. I just use that as an example that it's, it's, you're not fighting cravings though. That, that's the point I'm trying to make. Because you dieters have a mindset that you're, you're, all you dieters are relying 100% on your willpower, right? You're expecting that you're going to crave the out of the food. You're going to desire and want it. I want the food more than anything. And you got to fight against that with your willpower. That's how you would think about a diet. Don't tell me you don't, you know. So I just use the cigarette example just to prove the point that it's your mindset that's driving all this, not your willpower. Your willpower. Just so I could start doing something healthier. So again, this all builds around the program yourself then concept of consistency over intensity. All of you people have been trained to be intense. The diets have trained you to do really intense. But you can only do that intense stuff for A little while. Again, I always say dieters are basically, they're people that have signs never going to get you there alone, you know, and it only takes a little bit of studying willpower to realize that, you know, but most people just don't think about it, you know, because you've been conditioned by the diet to think that willpower, it's all about willpower. If you really want it, then you'll use the willpower to get you to your goal. And so, you know, notice with the diets, there's no strategy. You know, I mean, there's no holistic, comprehensive approach to manage your cravings in the first place. You know, again, Program Yourself then is a preventative approach. You know, they say an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I always say an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of willpower. So Program Yourself then is built around creating a mindset, lifestyle and eating plan that prevents a lot of the struggle up to run a marathon. But they're gonna, they're, they're on outsmart everyone because they're going to run the marathon like a sprinter. How could that plan go wrong? Right? The gun goes off and they start sprinting as fast as they can. And in the beginning of the race, they're way out ahead, everyone. Right? Holy. This really work? Oh my God. Look how, look how I'm way ahead, everyone. Yeah, the first eighth of the mile and then, then you cuggles, you know, and you dieters are not doing that at all. And ironically, dieters doing the exact opposite, because dieting to me is the best way. Collapse and don't even finish the race, you know, and so that's what your dieters have been trained to think, like to really get yourself out of control with your hunger and your cravings and your mindset. You know, the best way I can get to keep you stuck with your weight is to get you to drastically change your. And so your mindset has been, you know, it's really a broken mindset for weight loss. That's why no one loses weight on a diet. But yeah, so again, the idea is to make what you want to do easier. And I know that's just like, you know, blasphemy for eating for a little bit because then you, you get really hungry, you get hyper fixated, you get hyper stressed, and you just want to quit that and you start associating weight loss with pain. And ironically, that's where all you dieters are at. You subconsciously associate weight loss with pain at this point, isn't that crazy. Like a thing you think about so much and so important to you. You literally, you think about weight loss subconsciously you associate it with pain because you associate weight loss with diets. Strict, strict diets and failure and struggle, you know? So, yeah, says, thanks for speaking directly to me. Using cigarettes as an example is perfect. Yeah, good. Yeah. And again it's. But you know, again, just. Jade, you could use other things as well. I'll give you an example, okay? Is think anyone here. When you were a kid, there was some toy or thing that you were absolutely obsessed with, right? There was probably some toy or something. When you were a kid, it could have been a doll, a toy, something, and you were just obsessed with. You couldn't stop thinking about it. You wanted it so bad, you got it. All you did was think about that thing. A dieter, you know, because then I want you to recognize that you dieters can only think about extreme thing. It was so important to you as your whole world, right? But now as an adult, you couldn't feel that way about that thing if you tried. You couldn't, you couldn't create those feelings or get that feelings about that thing again if, if you wanted to. You see? So again, the thing didn't things, if it's not really extreme, you can't get excited about it. And that is the, that is the trap of the diet. That's, that's literally. You're all in a diet mental prison put there by the diet industry. And by the way, the diet industry is just a branch of the food industry. So you never change your mindset, change the way you think about it changed. And that changed the way you feel about that thing, you know, think about that. Say, I mean, geez, my BMX bike. When I was a kid, that thing was like, oh my God, you know, And I knew I was going to get it and I was thinking about it for weeks and I couldn't stop thinking about. Then I got it. I was obsessed. I wake up in the next morning, go down and look at. I go, oh my God. You know, ride it around, feeling like the king of the world, you know, and it's like, I can't feel that way about a bike now. You know what I mean? It's like I just can't do it. So again, even things that we were absolutely obsessed with, a lot of times our mindset shifts and changes and then our feelings go along with it. You know, they're influenced by it. So it really is always about mindset. I mean, mindset is always the fundamental piece of really all changes, you know, Sweet Cat says Tick Tock's asking us to rate the live press. The. Oh, yeah, sure, yeah. Folks recommend I I, My Tick Tock number is going down. I don't know. Like, I used to have a lot more people watching these lives, so I don't know what's going on there, but it's funny, it kind of stays the same. So I get more people on YouTube and Facebook and Instagram, but it's so weird. But, yeah, I don't know what's going on with Tick Tock. That's because I've been gone a little bit or what. Just as I get what you're saying now. Thanks, Jim. Yeah, you're welcome. You're welcome. Yeah, it's. It's kind of a weird concept because no one ever talks about it, but once you kind of get it, and that's really. I mean, it's my opinion about weight in general. It's like the first step and the hardest step is to getting good information about how to live at your goal weight. Because again, you're listening to the food industry. Would you like deprogramming to wake up? I always, I always say this, but as a hypnotist, I always thought I was going to hypnotize people to change, but I've found that it's much more about waking people up out of their trances. You all are in a diet trance. You're in a food trance put there by the food company and the diet companies. So you now listen to McDonald's to tell you how to eat less of their food. Of course not. Right. Weight Watchers was owned by Heinz. Jenny Craig was owned by Nestle Atkins Food Products, owned by the same company as onions, pretzels and Cinnabon Slim Fast, owned by the same company, owns Ben and Jerry's ice cream. Like, does it really make any sense that these companies would want you to think like an overweight dieter? Right. That's basically, that's the goal of the food and the diet companies, is to get you to think like an overweight dieter. That's their goal. Because overweight dieters eat a lot of food and are great for their profits for the food companies and the diet companies, you know, and so the food companies make money off you overeating the food, and the diet companies make money off you paying for the diets and programming you to always be an overweight eater. You know, so, you know, most of the time you just never get real information that is literally why I'm here every day, Monday through Friday because this is my mission in life is to help as many people as possible at their goal weight. And so excited about it. I will say just as a little tease. It's. It's so close. It's this close to being done is I had redone the. You know the core program yourself has got really three core components. The first one is the goal weight blueprint. Right. You got to know what to do. And so the goal weight blueprint is it takes you through the mindset like eat less of their products. Right. That doesn't make any sense. You know. So yeah, what's up Jess? Jade. Jade says but a lot of us never love cigarettes. Easier to have a mindset of indifference or even discussed about something you've always felt that way about. I love food that doesn't love me. Style and eating blueprints that are the core of the program. It's what to do. You need to build your mindset life back. No, I get that. I get that. I just use that as an example that down eating plan around you. Okay. So you go through this book and these questions to do it. And so I just completely redid the blueprints this year. I've been. I worked on for like three, four months and it was set to go and then I'm getting designed right now. So this. They're visually really cool and so I'm almost done with that and so that that'll be available. I was thinking it was going to be available this week. I don't know. It might be done by tomorrow. I'm not sure. But you know even it's this close. So it'll be done within the week I get back anyways. And those will be available for purchase if you want to buy a physical version. And I'll show them to you too. I can't wait. They look awesome. So that's so exciting. The other pillars of the program is the program yourself, then technique. You have to learn how to reprogram your mind. And I show you how to do that with a 60 second self hypnosis exercise. And then there's the support part of the program which is really. They're all really important. So I'm going to say one's more important than the other. I'll work together. But the support part of the program, I mean program yourself then is the most support I think I feel like you can get, you know. And that's really important. I mean that's why wave. It's. It's you're not fighting cravings though. That, that's the point I'm trying to make because you dieters have a mindset that you're, you're, all you dieters are relying 100% on your willpower, right? You're expecting that you're going to crave the out of the food. You're going to desire and want it. I want the food more than anything. And you got to fight against that with your willpower. That's how you would think Watchers really stands out amongst all the dumb diets that don't work. And Weight Watchers doesn't really work either. But it's typically the, the Weight Watchers slimming world are usually the best ones simply because of the social component, you know. So with program yourself, then the support system, there's a hypnosis support system. So every day, every morning you get a five minute hypnosis session sent to you. It's a different one each day. Keep it kind of interesting where you're always getting good ideas put in your mind, you're relaxing, calming down, starting your day from that place. And then at night you listen to a 10 minute hypnosis session. So kind of bookend your day. And so you get those every day. There's live weekly calls every Tuesday. So, you know, there's a lot of support that's going on in the program, you know, as well. So anyways. But yeah, I got on that. What's up, X? How's it going? Hey, look at that. X says I can finally keep the weight off for a month now. Great job, great job. Thanks so much. I learned so much from you. Yeah, great job, X. Proud of you. Yeah, and that's the fun part. You know, obviously it's fun losing weight, but I'll tell you what's more fun than that is when you keep it off about a diet. Don't tell me you don't, you know. So I just use the cigarette example just to prove the point that it's your mindset that's driving all this, not your willpower. Your willpower, right. That's really even better. So that, that's the shift, you know, shifting from focusing on losing weight to living at your goal. Weight is really the key here. So let's see is any more questions? I think we're caught up. Oh, wait. Casey says I can't stop the binge eating cycle. I don't even want to eat the food half the time. I keep saying I'll start tomorrow. Yeah, I get that. Casey again, very Common that people get caught in these loops, these repetitive loops. And so the binge eating cycle, again, what I would suggest is that you don't stop the binge eating cycle. You resolve it and you resolve it by first understanding it. Because most likely there's a couple different binge eating cycles that you got. You know, there's. They're all triggered from different things. So, you know, some binge eating might happen because you're over restricting, you get too hungry. Some binge eating might happen because you get too emotional. Some binge eating, My habits, it's just a routine and a habit. Like every Friday night when you finish work, you, that night you overeat. So don't stop trying to stop the binge eating and instead try to understand the cycle more. What triggers it? Right. What's the trigger for it? Again, those are the big three triggers. Oh, I'm, I'm too hungry, I'm too emotional and, or I, it's just a habit and, or it's all three of them, you know, working together. But you want to, you want to understand because I promise you, you don't have just like one binge eating cycle. You've got a couple different patterns and, and you need to understand them in depth so you come up with a strategic solution to them. And so if the cause of it is that you're getting over hungry, that's going to require a different solution than if you're getting, you know, over emotional, you know, so we need to understand what's kind of triggering it to come up with a specific solution strategy for it. All right? But if you start doing that again, you'll have a much more refined sense of what's going on. And that will help you come up with a much better, that'll help you come up with a much better strategy and solution. Okay. Instead of just trying to wing it and just, oh, I'm just going to fix it. You know, you probably don't know enough about the pattern to really fix it anyways. No. Casey says jealousy of others is my favorite part. That's so funny. There's nothing wrong with that. Again, everyone's got their, everyone's got to use their own motivations. You know what I mean? Like to me, there's no right or wrong. There's only what works for you. So, you know, again, it's about kind of genuinely appreciating who you are again, as long as you're not hurting anyone. But it's like, you know, appreciating who you are and building around the things that genuinely kind of move you forward and motivate you, you know, if jealousy of certain people in your life is motivating to use that, you know, I think, you know, don't be obnoxious. I say, I suggest don't be obnoxious about it. But if that's part of what, what jazzes you up, great. I mean, I have no, I don't mind saying this, that for me, part of my motivation, a piece of it anyways, is that I like doing something difficult. I. I like. There's very, there's very few of us on the world, I'm going to say, in America anyways. I'm going to say there's very few of us in America that are weigh exactly what we want to weigh and are have a way to weigh what we want to weigh that really works for us. You know, I love, I love how I think live and eat. Like, I love it. So for me to maintain my weight the way that I do it, I love how I do it and I love being this weight. And so I am proud of myself for doing it. It was difficult, it was effort, it was a lot of work I put in. But I'm super duper proud of myself for doing it now. And I'm proud that I'm one of the few that did it. I really took it on. I did it. So I don't. I'm not going to shy away from that, you know, that that's how I feel. I'm not trying to make everyone feel bad. I don't. This isn't about anyone else. It's about me. And so again, I think you should use whatever kind of moves you forward, you know, but. But again, that's a huge thing to program yourself then. That's the first thing you go through. By the way, the first, the very first part of the blueprint after you choose your goal weight is, is really to focus on the motivation, you know, really get yourself, you know, charged up and motivated. Because once you are really motivated, it's everything else so much easier, you know? Yeah. It says true. When I cut the food out, the foods I love, I end up craving. And we'll eat more. Oh, absolutely. X. Yeah. Again, that's why in program yourself, then we don't cut any foods out. Ironically. In program yourself, then we build around your favorite foods. You know that in program yourself, then you're eating Blueprint the bullseye. The first thing we start with to create your eating blueprint is your favorite food. How about that? So we Start by identifying the food that is most pleasurable to you, the food you enjoy the most. And we put that on the schedule, we put it in the plan. So again, a little different than normal, but it's. So you start your plan knowing that you're gonna have your favorite meal. Maybe it's on Saturday, it doesn't matter when it is, but you know you're gonna have it this week and you can look forward to it. And you'd be shocked at how much pressure that relieves. You know, again, when you're strategic, you know, I mean, when you're strategic with things, everything becomes so much easier. You know, I, I can't even stress that Melvina says, how do you deal with a habit? With a habit, binge. Okay, yeah, when it's a habit, binge again. I still, I, you know, even when it's a habit, we still got to pay attention to the other things as well. Okay? So again, very rarely is it just like one thing, you know what I mean? Usually it's. They all influence each other. Because again, if you over restrict and get yourself too hungry, it's going to affect you emotionally. Go ahead and over restrict, folks. Don't eat anything tomorrow and see how you feel by the end of the day, what emotions you're feeling. I bet you're feeling frustrated, kind of unbalanced, irritable, you know, so it's like they do all work together, you know, and the habit part of that is how many times, folks, how many times have you gone on a diet? Let's just say you started your diet, it doesn't matter what it is, but you over, you over restrict every diet. You're over restricting pretty much. You're cutting way a lot of calories out, you know, and so basically making a drastic change to your eating. And so you're hungrier than normal emotionally. That makes you irritable and frustrated and stressed. And then the habit is that you've done all this a bunch of times, and what do you ultimately do? You go out and go and binge on the food. So there's always all three of these to some degree, but let's just say it's a habit thing. So every Saturday night, I overeat. Every night at night, I overeat. Again, what I suggest is if you have a habit, binge in a weird way, you're almost luckier because habits happen all the time, so you have a lot of awareness about them. So the first step again is I want to deep dive into that habit. I did this My first habit that I focused on was snacking at night. I used to snack every night, you know, about an hour after dinner until I went to bed. And so that was the first thing I really focused on. And it took me months and months to resolve that, but I don't give a shit. Say it took me six months to resolve it. I haven't eaten at night in any harmful way for 30 years. And I'm not going to. So it's like a true, genuine resolution. So what I did though, is I really dove into that. I stalked that habit. I noticed everything about it. I paid attention, I tried different things, and I kept working on it to figure out the best, most comfortable way for me to resolve it. And I'm not gonna go into all the details right now, but I did change it. So again with the habit. What I'd want you to do, Malvina, and you may want to consider, I know you're in the program. And so again, you're going to see the program's just been. It's going to get even better. I'm working on Gym AI to coach with you as well. But if you are, I'm going to send out a thing because I have one last special on coaching that you'll have access to at least in the beginning of August, maybe, I don't know how long. But there will be one last coaching special I'm going to offer before September. You know, prices are going up and you pretty much will. It's going to be a lot harder to work with me at all. But if you're in the position to, you're interested in actually coaching with me, you might want to consider that, you know, but you'll have Jim AI as well to work with it. But what you want to do is you want to really understand that habit and you understand when it's happening, right? So the main things we're looking for with a habit on Malvina is we want to notice when it's happening, right? What day, what time of day, what time of the week, Right. So we don't know the time wise, when's it happening, who's there or not there is someone there, that triggers it? Or is everyone gone and you're alone and that triggers it? Or do the people not really matter? Okay, hunger, right? How hungry are you in that situation? And then the big one emotionally, what mood are you in in that binge eating, habitual scenario? Right? And you want to start noticing these details. And once you notice those details now again, Melvin, you're in the program. So again, what I would suggest is go to the new blueprints and you can go, It's a Google Doc now. And so you can literally, you can scroll on the left. It's a whole program's broken out. So again, I'm not going to lie. The blueprints, it's a meaty blueprint. My program's not for the faint of heart. It's for if you're really serious about mastering your weight. This is like a college program. So again, my clients are overthinkers, perfectionists. They listen to podcasts all day. They're always in taking information and thinking in their head. That's what my program's for. But the Google document, if you go to it on the left hand side, there's a whole outline of the program. Okay. And so what I would suggest, okay, so family dinners, Friday night family dinners. Yeah. Always over eat. Great. So you're actually, you're in a good position because you really, you really do know this habit. And so what we want to do is really break it down. So you can go to. Go to the habits section, right? So you go to the blueprint, mindset, habits, and it literally has questions to break this down for you. So I would break it down and then I would go to Jim AI and talk to Jim AI about it. And Jim AI will literally walk you through the specifics of again, first understanding this habit and then starting to prepare yourself to succeed during this time. Okay. But if you give yourself a focus on Friday night dinner, family dinners, and you start thinking about it and you start noticing some of the triggers and then you start working on some of the solutions for it, I promise you, you know, a month from now, two months from now, you'll make a lot of progress forward. Okay. And then Malvina as well, feel free to get on these calls. I'm happy to coach you through here as well. Okay. So you can kind of let me know what's going on. I'm happy to work with you right through this, you know, as well. So, yeah, Jim AI is awesome. And it's getting really better. I'm in a little bit of a weird spot with it because I'm reprogramming and it's a little bit of a. A little goofy spot. But no, you can access it, Malvina. If you're in the program, you have full access to it now. So that's kind of. That's another upgrade that just happened. But yeah, you have access to it. And so. Oh, Melvina, are you in the Circle app, I got. That's another thing. I got to send that out. New clients are going directly into it, but if you're a little bit of an older client, you may have missed the Circle app piece. The Circle app brings it all together. Circle app is awesome. Okay. It's a way better way to go through the program and access it. And you get Jim AI right in there now. Okay. So if. If you're not in circle, shoot me an email, and I will. I'll just send you the email to. To get. It takes two seconds to get in the circle. Just put your name email in there, and you're right in there. Then you download the app. It's on your phone. You can just do it. Okay. Yeah, yeah. So in the Circle app. Yeah. So Malvina, you should have it right on the top left. If you go to spaces, go up to the top, go spaces, look on the left, and you'll see Jim ads. Like the third thing down. Click on that, and you should be off to the. Off to the races. Yeah. I love the app. The app's awesome, right? Yeah. And the app's going to get so much better. I've been doing so much other stuff in the background, but starting really kind of middle of August into September, the app's really going to explode. And we're gonna do a lot of cool stuff in there. And that's what I was saying even earlier, is that there's going to be even a free section. So even if you're not in the program, I'm gonna have stuff for you in there, and I can't wait. So you're going to love that. But. But, yeah, Melvin, you should have Jim AI in there. For some reason, you don't just message me in the app or shoot me an email and I'll make sure you get that access. All right. Casey says I can feel myself getting too comfortable with feeling uncomfortable. Yeah, that's. That happens. Right? We habituate to things. So again, it's good thing you got awareness of that and then let it go. What day is your cheat day? I don't like the phrase cheat day, so I'm just going to push back against that a little bit. I always joke around. It's like, you know, you wouldn't call it an adultery day. Right. Doesn't feel good, does it? Cheating doesn't feel good subconsciously. It's not. It's not a positive concept for your mind. And so I don't like the phrase cheat day. I think it has all sorts of negative connotations in program yourself, then we call it a pleasure day or a pleasure meal, if that's what you want to have. But that connotation is completely different because I'm aiming right at the heart of one of your limiting beliefs, that you believe that the most pleasure you can get out of food is that you need to eat as much of it as you possibly can. That is not true. And so when we talk about pleasure days, pleasure meals, the goal is how can I enjoy food as much as possible? And so you can eat your favorite foods, ice cream, cookies, pizza, cake, whatever it is that you like to eat, but you're going to eat it in the way that you get the most pleasure possible. And spoiler alert, you don't get the most pleasure out of cake, of eating the whole cake. See, that's what we're, that's what we work on, the pleasure days. Because most of you, again, think about the anticipation consumption of the food, and that's it. Well, if you just think about anticipation consumption, if you only think about that, then yes, eating as much as possible is how you get the most pleasure. But as soon as you include consequence, as soon as you include the consequence phase, eating the whole cake is not the most pleasure at all. Because, yeah, you got a lot of pleasure for those 5, 10, 20 minutes, and then for the next 24 hours, you feel like absolute shit. So pleasure is a bigger concept than just the eating. It is the consequence. You can ignore that and pretend that doesn't exist. That's fine that you're right, but it's right there. It's a, it's reality. Whether you choose to acknowledge reality or not is your choice. But the reality is there is always a consequence to your behavior. And if you go and pound a pint of ice cream, a cake, a, a bag of cookies, yes, there is a negative consequence that follows. It's not me making it up and foisting it on you. It's a natural, automatic universal law consequence that happens, and you have a negative response and consequence to that behavior. So if you start paying attention to that again for pleasure, oh, I'm going to eat a cake, it's my cheat day, I'm going to eat a cake, you might do that. But if you're saying, I want to get the most pleasure possible out of cake, I'm not gonna eat a whole cake, because that's not the most pleasure. It's pleasurable for this five minutes, and then I feel like shit for five days, you know, so I'm not doing that, so what that does to train me to do, to get the most pleasure for me and for all my clients is I'm gonna have some cake. But what's the sweet spot? Where's the sweet spot where I get to enjoy the cake, but I still feel good in the consequence phase. And as you start to focus on the consequence phase more, you start to naturally figure this out and genuinely, you start to go into the cake, the cookies, the pizza, the rest of it, and you say, oh, really, I'm going to enjoy that. I'm going to eat this. What's the sweet spot? What's the sweet spot? How can get the most pleasure out of the whole thing? How can I get the most pleasure out of eating it? And afterwards, that's something you dieters have never considered. Imagine that, imagine you've been a dieter for full is never going to get you there alone, you know, and it only takes a little bit of studying willpower to realize that, you know, but most people just don't think about it, you know, because you've been conditioned by the diet to think that willpower, it's all about willpower. If you really want it, then you'll use the willpower to get you to your goal. And so, you know, notice with the diets there's no strategy, you know, I mean, there's no holistic, comprehensive approach to manage your cravings in the first place. You know, again, program Yourself then is a preventative approach. You know, they say an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I always say an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of willpower. So program Yourself then is built around creating a mindset lifestyle and eating plan that prevents a lot of the struggles, you know, and you dieters are not doing that at all. And ironically, dieters doing the exact opposite. Because dieting to me is the best way to really get yourself out of control with your hunger and your cravings and your mindset. You know, the best way I can get to keep you stuck with your weight is to get you to drastically change your eating for a little bit. Because then you, you get really hungry, you get hyper fixated, you get hyper stressed, and you just want to quit that and you start associating weight loss with pain. And ironically, that's where all you dieters are at. You subconsciously associate weight loss with pain at this point. Isn't that crazy? Like a thing you think about so much and so important to you. You literally, you think about weight loss subconsciously, you associate it with pain because you associate Weight loss with diets. Strict, Strict diets and failure and struggle, you know. So, yeah, two man says. Thanks for speaking directly to me. Using cigarettes as an example is perfect. Yeah, good. Yeah. And again it's. But you know, again, just. Jade, you can use other things as well. I'll give you an example, okay. Is think anyone here. When you were a kid, there was some toy or thing that you were absolutely obsessed with, right? There was probably some toy or something when you were a kid, it could have been a doll, a toy, something, and you were just obsessed with. You couldn't stop thinking about it. You wanted it so bad, you got it. All you did was think about that thing. It was so important to you, was your whole world, right? But now as an adult, I. You couldn't feel that way about that thing if you tried. You couldn't. You couldn't create those feelings or get that feelings about that thing again if, if you wanted to. You see? So again, the thing didn't change. Your mindset changed, the way you think about it changed. And that changed the way you feel about that thing, you know, Think about that. Say, I mean, geez, my BMX bike. When I was a kid, that thing was like, oh my God, you know? And I knew I was going to get it. And I was thinking about it for weeks and I couldn't stop thinking about it. And then I got it. I was obsessed with it. Wake up in the next morning, go down and look at it. I go, oh my God. You know, ride it around feeling like the king of the world, you know? And it's like, I can't feel that way about a bike now. You know what I mean? It's like I just can't do it. So again, even things that we were absolutely obsessed with, a lot of times our mindset shifts and changes and then our feelings go along with it, you know, they're influenced by it. So it really is always about mindset. I mean, mindset is always the fundamental piece of really all changes, you know? So we can. Says Tick Tock's asking us to rate the live press the. Oh, yeah, sure, yeah. Folks recommend I I, my Tick Tock number is going down. I don't know. Like, I used to have a lot more people watching these lives, so I don't know what's going on there there. But it's funny, it kind of stays the same. So I get more people on YouTube and Facebook and Instagram, but it's so weird. But yeah, I don't know what's going on With Tik Tok. That's because I've been gone a little bit or what? Just. I get what you're saying now. Thanks, Jim. Yeah, you're welcome. You're welcome. Yeah, it's, it's kind of a weird concept because no one ever talks about it, but once you kind of get it and that's really. I, that's my opinion about weight in general. It's like the first step and the hardest step is to like deprogramming to wake up. I always, I always say this, but as a hypnotist, I always thought I was going to hypnotize people to change, but I've found that it's much more about waking people up out of their trances. You all are in a diet trance. You're in a food trance put there by the food company and the diet companies. So you now think like an overweight dieter, right? That's basically, that's the goal of the food and the diet companies is to get you to think like an overweight dieter. That's their goal because overweight dieters eat a lot of food and are great for their profits for, for the food companies and the diet. 40, 50 years, you've never even considered what I just said. This is what I mean. This is why I want you to understand that the reason you're struggling with your weight not has nothing to do with you and your willpower and your focus and your self control and has everything to do with. You've never learned how to manage your weight legitimately. You've never done it. And so you're literally trying to diet your way, you know, and so the food companies make money off you overeating the food and the diet companies make money off you paying for the diets and programming you to always be an overweight eater. You know, so, you know, most of the time you just never get real information. That is literally why I'm here every day there. And diets are not built for you to succeed with. They're just not okay. And so when you get good information and you have better systems and plans, you get better results. You know, that's the message there. But anyways, my pleasure days are, they start Friday night, Saturday and Sunday, and again I'm crystal clear Monday through Friday because this is my mission in life is to help as many people as possible with their goal weight here. Pleasure days for me are not cheat binge days. They are days where I eat. I, I think it is like Monday through Friday. I eat for fuel primarily that's my intention. It doesn't always mean I eat all fuel. You know, sometimes I eat too, but. But my intention is Monday through Friday, I primarily want to eat for fuel. And then when I'm on the weekends, I'm still eating for fuel, but I'm also. Now I'm eating for fun and so excited about it. I will say, just as a little tease. It's. It's so close. It's this close to being done is I had redone the, you know, the core program. And so that's where I'm having, you know, that's where I'm more likely to have dessert or donut or, you know, pasta or just. Just shit like that. Now, again, I'm not eating those things. Crazy. I'm still eating them in moderated way because for me, pleasure is eating the foods I really enjoy. I don't think you could get more pleasure out of your st. Got really three core components. The first one is the goal weight blueprint, or you got to know what to do food than eating it at your goal weight. That's what I think. I think you cannot get any more. I think you couldn't enjoy your cookie or ice cream more than eating it at your goal weight. I think that's how you'd enjoy the food the most. That's what I think, and that's what I believe. And so when I think about eating for pleasure, I'm not just looking at the one side of the equation of just the consumption of it. I'm also taking into account the other side of the equation, the consequence. And so the goal weight blueprint is it takes you through the mindset, life of it. And then I look to say, where do I get the best return on investment? How can I get the most pleasure out of this? And what I've come to find is that eating my favorite foods moderately is that sweet spot where I can eat the foods I like and then eating them moderately, I still feel good afterwards, too. And then I'm able to manage my weight by eating the foods I still love. So to me, that's the sweet spot. You know, that's where I aim at it. Yeah, Angie says, I like that. Strategic. Yes, very strategic. I mean, program yourself, then I would. I would say, I mean lifestyle and eating blueprints that are the core of the program. It's what to do. You need to build your mindset lifestyle and eating plan around you. Okay. So you go through this book and these questions to do it. And so I certainly know it's the, it's the number one weight mastery goal Weight Completely redid the blueprints this year. I've been, I worked on for like three, four months and it was set to go and then I'm getting designed right now. So this the visually really cool and supplement on the planet. It's the number one hypnosis weight loss program on the planet. There is no hypnosis program like mine. And that's just one piece of the. I just, that's just one part of the whole program I give you. I could sell my hypnosis piece of the program which is a eight week program. And I think of it, it's called the goal weight hypnosis system. And so it's. They're almost done with that and so that, that'll be available. I was thinking it was gonna be available this week. I don't know, it might be done by tomorrow, I'm not sure. But you know, even it's this close, it'll be done within the week. I get back anyways. And those will be available for purchase if you want to buy a fish. No program like this on the planet. I, I know, okay. I've been doing this for over 30 years. I'm a master hypnotist. I know all the hypnosis programs out there. Every hypnosis program you're going to see is going to be a couple hypnosis sessions. That's not going to work for you long term. It might work for a little while to help you lose weight. It's not going to work long term. My program is nothing like it. It's eight physical version. And I'll show them to you too. I can't wait. They look awesome. So that's so exciting. Weeks. Every morning you get a five minute hypnosis session so you can start to build up some habit. You can start your day relaxed and calm, have good stuff in your head. Each one's different. Each one's got a different mantra, you know, comes with a quote, a cool picture, some reflection questions if you want to do it. But basically it's got to take five minutes. Start your morning with that changes your whole day. And then at night you listen to your weekly session. So each week for eight weeks you get a 10 minute core weight mantra session. So these are the most important mantras to put in your mind. So what I'm doing with this program, I'm basically installing a thin and healthy minding. The other pillars of the program is the program yourself, then technique. You have to learn how to Reprogram your mind and I show you how to do that with a 60 second self hypnosis exercise. And then there's the support set into your mind. And so all you got to do is just sit there, close your eyes, relax and listen. Okay? But what it does, it bookends your day. And again, there's also a hypnosis library with over 25 sessions. And so I give you those two. But there's no hypnosis session on the planet like that. I just give you. That's just part of it, you know, I mean that doesn't include the goal weight blueprints, the program yourself, then technique or part of the program, which is really, they're all really important. So I'm gonna say one's more important and all the support systems in there, you know. So yeah, I would, I would. And the other I'll work together. But the support part of the program, I mean program yourself. Then it dare say as well that I believe without question, I truly believe this. And I've not seen a program that's more strategic than mine. I think I've got the ultimate, the ultimate strategic program for living at your goal weight. And I have not seen anything that even comes close, truly. And I think there's some good people out there I've been loving. Who have I been noticing lately? I've been reading some of her stuff is Corin Corn Crabtree Tree. She's fun. I like her a lot and I, I hope I want to talk to her at some point. I'd love to interview her because she's great. She has no BS weight loss and she's funny, she swears and she's awesome and she talks a lot about kind of the anti diet stuff, you know, I'm huge fan. I like it already is the most support I think I feel like you can get, you know, and that's really important. I mean that's why Weight Watchers really stands out a bunch of amongst all the dumb diets that don't work. And that being said, I mean our programs are night and day and again, I love, I love what she's doing. But you know, we're just different people. And my program is. There's no strategic program like this. It is, it is a very complete program and extremely strategic because that's who I appeal to, you know, I mean I'm a strategic thinker. I'm an weight watcher. Doesn't really work either. But it's typically the Weight Watchers slimming world are usually the overthinker so. So I'm a super overthinker. And so the best way, you know, if you're an overthinker, and you are, if you're listening to me here, if you're an overthinker, the overthinking is not the problem, it's what you're overthinking. Okay? And so when you start overthinking the right stuff, it's crazy how fast you get amazing results. Okay. But yes, the ones simply because of the social component, you know. So with program yourself, then the solution, when you're an overthinker, the solution is, is to have strategy behind you. Real beneficial, effective strategy. That's the secret, in my opinion. Hey, what's up, Angie? Angie said I finally broke my late night snacking. I think it was emotional eating. Great job, Angie. That's super. And sometimes it just takes a while. No big deal, you know, but once you break it, when you break it the right way, it kind of has legs, right? The support system, there's a hypnosis support system. So every day, every morning you get a five minute hypnosis session sent to you. It's a different one each day. Keep kind of interesting, where you're always getting good. At last. I'm like dieting, which is just kind of, you know, moment to moment. Whoops. Oh, I gotta. There we go. And she says, lol Pleasure day. Just to re. Just to motivate my ideas. Put in your mind, you're relaxing, calming down, starting your day from that place. And then at night you listen with I know dessert days reward. Just to motivate my. No dessert days. I'm not sure exactly what you're asking, Angie, but I will tell you just so there's so much psychology behind the clean pleasure days of Program yourself then. But I will give you one piece of the psychology of why I use clean and pleasure days and why I think I'm in a hypnosis session. So kind of bookend your day. And so you get those every day. They're so important. They did a study a long time ago where they brought people in, they were hungry and. And then they would offer him dessert and they would have them say different phrases. I can't have that. No, I shouldn't have that. I'm on a diet, I'm trying to lose weight. And there was one phrase that stood out amongst all of them as being the most effective for helping people to say no dessert and feel okay about it. Right? To not feel like this craving or this Big fight. And the phrase was, I'll have it later, I'll have it later. So there's something magical to. And again, I could go in the details of. It's very dopamine driven. But, but long story short, there's a huge difference on this. Live Weekly calls every Tuesday. So, you know, there's a lot of support that's going. For instance, when your mind says, I'm not gonna, I can't have dessert because your brain thinks, I can never have dessert then, and it starts freaking out. There's a huge difference between saying that and saying, I'll have it on in the program, you know, as well. So anyways. But yeah, I don't get on that. What's up, X? How's it going? But later, because having it later, you're still going to have it. So it doesn't feel cut off. You don't feel the deprivation as intensely. And ironically, even if it's, even if it's five days away, I'll have it later, I'll have it in five days. Still feels a hell of a lot better than saying I can't have it because your brain thinks of that as I'll never have it and starts freaking out. So what ends up happening is the difference between those two. The stress levels, the anxiety, the tension is way lower. When you know you can have what you like, you're gonna have it anyways, folks. You know what I mean? Like, again, you're all playing this endurance test to see how long you can go without eating your favorite foods, you know, but it's, it's fun to play while you're playing it, I suppose, but it's ineffective, doesn't work well, you know. So anyways, that's my thoughts on that. All right, I'm gonna get out of here. So again, everyone, if you're not in my world, go click the link in my bio. Go get the free hypnosis session. Watch the video I made for you. I got a bunch of free stuff coming for you as well, so go check that out if you like this. I'm here every Monday through Friday, usually around noon Eastern. I will be gone next week. I'm on vacation, but I'm here every Monday through Friday to answer your questions. I'm literally here for you all. That's what I want to do. So, yeah, I'm here. Come check me out. And if you, if you missed the live and you like listening to it, it's also a podcast. So I put it up as a podcast. It's Called, called program yourself. Then it's on all the podcast platforms and. Yeah, go check that out. I see. One last question. As a dean says, I just found that when I keep watching videos about eating well and cooking yummy healthy foods and seeing, hey, look at that. X says I can finally keep the weight off for a month now. Great job, thin people. What? They didn't finish it, but so I'm curious to see if that helped them eat better or helped the meat worse. Oh, my mind. Keep focusing that it's the right thing and I'm eating well too. Yeah, great job. And again, I didn't know what you're going to say, so, you know, there's no right or wrong. You know what I mean? So one person could watch videos of healthy cooking and thin healthy people and be triggered to overeat. All the wrong shit. Another person could watch and it could, you know, keep them on track and help motivate them. So again, there's, there's no absolute right or wrong. There's only kind of how you respond to it. And if you really start to build your plan from that place, what's going to happen is you're going to create a plan built around you, you know, that works for you. So thanks for sharing. Great job. Thank you so much. I learned so much from you. Yeah, great job, X. Proud of you. Yeah, and that's the fun part. You know, obviously it's fun losing weight, but I'll tell you what's more fun than that is when you keep it off. Right? That's really even better. So that, that's the shift, you know. All right, everyone, have a super duper day and we'll talk soon. Bye, everyone. Shifting from focusing on losing weight to living at your goal weight is really the key here. So let's see is. Any more questions? I think we're caught up. Oh, wait. Casey says I can't stop the binge eating cycle. I don't even want to eat the food half the time. I keep saying I'll start tomorrow. Yeah, I get that, Casey. Again, very common that people get caught in these loops, these repetitive loops. And so the binge eating cycle, again, what I would suggest is that you don't stop the binge eating cycle. You resolve it. And you resolve it by first understanding it. Because most likely there's a couple different binge eating cycles that you got. You know, there's. They're all triggered from different things. So, you know, some binge eating might happen because you're over restricting, you get too hungry Some binge eating might happen because you get too emotional. Some binge eating might happen because it's just a routine and a habit. Like every Friday night when you finish work, that night you overeat. So don't stop trying to stop the binge eating and instead try to understand the cycle more. What triggers it? Right. What's the trigger for it? Again, those are the big three triggers. Oh, I'm too hungry, I'm too emotional. And. Or I. It's just a habit and. Or it's all three of them, you know, working together. But you want to. You want to understand because I promise you, you don't have just like one binge eating cycle. You've got a couple different patterns, and you need to understand them in depth so you come up with a strategic solution to them. And so if the cause of it is that you're getting over hungry, that's going to require a different solution than if you're getting, you know, over emotional. You know, so we need to understand what's kind of triggering it to come up with a specific solution and strategy for it. All right? But if you start doing that again, you'll have a much more refined sense of what's going on, and that will help you come up with a much better. That'll help you come up with a much better strategy and solution. Okay. Instead of just trying to wing it and just, oh, now I'm just going to fix it. You know, you probably don't know enough about the pattern to really fix it anyways. You know, Casey says jealousy of others is my favorite part. That's so funny. There's nothing wrong with that. Again, everyone's got their. Everyone's got to use their own motivations. You know what I mean? Like, to me, there's no right or wrong. There's only what works for you. So, you know, again, it's about kind of genuinely appreciating who you are again, as long as you're not hurting anyone. But it's like, you know, appreciating who you are and building around the things that genuinely kind of move you forward and motivate you. You know, if jealousy of certain people in your life is motivating to use that, you know, I think, you know, don't be obnoxious. I say, I suggest don't be obnoxious about it. But if that's part of what. What jazzes you up, great. I mean, I have no, I don't mind saying this, that for me, part of my motivation. A piece of it, anyways. Is that I like doing something difficult. I. I like. There's very. There's very few of us on the world. Well, I'm going to say in America anyways, I'm going to say there's very few of us in America that are weigh exactly what we want to weigh and are have a way to weigh what we want to weigh that really works for us. You know, I love, I love how I think, live and eat. Like, I love it. So for me to maintain my weight the way that I do it, I love how I do it, and I love being this weight. And so I am proud of myself for doing it. It was difficult, it was effort. It was a lot of work I put in. But I'm super duper proud of myself for doing it now. And I'm proud that I'm one of the few that did it. I really took it on. I did it. So I don't. I'm not going to shy away from that. You know that that's how I feel. I'm not trying to make anyone feel bad. Yeah. It says, true, when I cut the food out, the foods I love, I end up craving. And we'll eat more. Oh, absolutely. X. Yeah. Again, that's why in program yourself, then we don't cut any foods out ironically. In program yourself then we build around your favorite foods. You know that in program yourself, then you're eating blueprint. The bullseye. The first thing we start with to create your eating blueprint is your favorite food. How about that? So we start by identifying the food that is most pleasurable to you, the food you enjoy the most. And we put that on the schedule. We put it in the plan. So again, a little different than normal, but it's. So you start your plan knowing that you're gonna have your favorite meal. You know, maybe it's on Saturday, it doesn't matter when it is, but you know you're gonna have it this week and you can look forward to it and you'd be shocked at how much pressure that relieves. You know, again, when you're strategic. What? You know, I mean, when you're strategic with things, everything becomes so much easier. You know, I, I can't even stress that. Melvina says, how do you deal with a habit? With a habit binge. Okay, yeah. When it's a habit, binge. Again, I still, you know, even when it's a habit, we still got to pay attention to the other things as well. Okay? So again, very rarely is it just like one thing. You know what I mean? Usually it's, it's. They all influence each other because again, if you over restrict and get yourself too hungry, it's going to affect you emotionally. Go ahead and over restrict, folks. Don't eat anything tomorrow and see how you feel by the end of the day, what emotions you're feeling. I bet you're feeling frustrated, kind of unbalanced, irritable, you know, so it's like they do all work together, you know, and the habit part of that is, how many times, folks, how many times have you.
