How to feel confident and happy when you're overweight. So I got this question recently that someone said, I want to feel confident, happy about myself, but it's really hard at my size. So I get this. It is a challenge, but I think it's an important one because I'm a big believer that you should feel confident and happy now. Don't wait until you lose the weight, because a lot of times it's feeling bad about yourself that's driving the overeating anyways. So feel confident, happy now, and use that to propel you to your new body. But I understand it can be difficult if, for all this time you've been beating yourself up and feeling bad about yourself to. To all of a sudden feel confident and happy before any transformations happened. So one of the easiest ways to do this is to realize that confidence and happiness are always relative. And what I mean by that is if you think of someone who's a hundred pounds heavier than you, if they woke up tomorrow at your weight, they would feel on top of the world, right? They would be full of confidence and happiness because from their perspective, they had made that a hundred pounds improvement. And so what you can do is you can reference their point of view so that you can start to at least tap into and get a sense of what that confidence and happiness feels like. And the second thing to remember is that you're the one who's in control. No one can let you feel that. No one's in charge of your confidence and happiness. It's all up to you.
