practicing being thin

Jim Katsoulis guides you through imagining yourself at your goal weight, rehearsing how you'd feel, move, eat, and interact as that thinner version. He frames this mental practice as the foundation of an inside-out approach to weight loss.

Practicing being thin. I want you to imagine it's tomorrow morning and you're lying in bed. And before you even open your eyes, you realize that something's different. And what's different is that you've woken up at your goal weight. I want you to take a moment and imagine how that would feel, to be at your goal weight, knowing that you're exactly the weight you want to be. Now, why don't you imagine hopping out of bed and getting dressed in the exact outfit that you would like to wear? What outfit would you like to wear on that body? Get dressed in an outfit. Knows how it feels to get dressed, knows how it feels to look at yourself in the mirror in that outfit, looking and feeling the way you want to look. Now, I want you to imagine moving through your morning. So whatever you expect to have happen tomorrow, I want you to imagine that happening. But I want you to start to notice the subtle little differences that you imagine going through your morning at this weight. What foods do you crave, what decisions do you make? You're at your goal weight, feeling all those feelings, thinking that way. Notice how you move, how you hold yourself, Notice what emotions are flowing through your body, notice what thoughts are flowing through your mind, and continue to move through tomorrow, whatever you expect to happen. The only difference is you are at your goal weight. And I want you to notice how different things go, how your conversations with people go, how your voice may sound different, the way you hold yourself, the way you move, the way your body feels. Notice all the subtle little differences. Notice which foods you choose to eat, what do you choose to eat for lunch, what other behavior changes are there? What do you imagine being different when you're at your goal weight as this version of you? How do you behave differently? How do you feel different and how do you think different when you're at your goal weight? Go completely into this idea. Because the more you connect to this idea of you, the more you train yourself to be this version of you. And this is an approach to an inside out weight loss strategy. And this is just the beginning of it. And if you want to go deeper into this process, click the link in my bio and get the full hypnosis session that I made for you. It's free and it's called the New Thin Me. And we'll go even deeper into this process to make this dream and imagination a reality for you.
