Program Yourself Thin Live 8-21-26

Jim Katsoulis explains how to reprogram subconscious eating habits through intentional visualization. Instead of fighting cravings, he says visualize yourself refusing extra helpings or swapping ice cream for water. His program blends mindset and lifestyle changes, not willpower alone, and he urges people to live at their goal weight from day one.
Chapters
Hey everyone, welcome to today's Program Yourself Thin podcast. Today we're talking about imagine the week went exactly the way that you wanted it to. Now I say imagine it as a verb to do intentionally because your brain's default mode is to imagine all the things that aren't going to go the way you want. And you may have some vague, light idea of what you would like to do, but it's not the same quality of imagination and thought that what you think is not going to go well is. And so taking some time to specifically imagine things going the way you want them to go. Now, I would start with the things you think aren't going to go well. So you're not going to necessarily spend time thinking about the things you already expect are going to go well. You're not going to take time imagining yourself brushing your teeth or taking showers. You already do that. You take the time to imagine the things that you tend to do wrong going exactly the way you want them to. So you imagine yourself eating the way you want to, eating The breakfast you want to eat, stopping eating whenever you want to finish stopping eating, dinner exactly the way you want to eat it, lunch the way you want to eat it, what you want to eat. Now, again, you can't do all of it, right? So we pick the first 2 or 3 things that are kind of habitual. Maybe if you got your lunches locked down, maybe that would make a big difference. Maybe if you got your dinner portions more dialed in, that would make a difference. Maybe if you didn't snack at night after dinner, maybe that would make a huge difference. Whatever it is for you that would make some of the biggest difference in your food you're eating, ultimately, you take the time to imagine yourself, you know, imagine you're doing the things that you do and imagining them happening relatively easily. See yourself at dinner taking a breath and saying no to any extra helpings. Imagine yourself at night having a craving for ice cream. And going to get a glass of water instead, taking a few moments just to relax and calm down and go and reading a book or something. I don't know. Again, it depends. Everyone has different things they want to do and how they want to do it. But very rarely do people take the time to imagine themselves doing what they want to do in times of challenge. And if you start to do that, it gives your brain a real choice. Most people never give themselves a choice because Snacking after dinner or not snacking after dinner is the same thing to your brain. The same way if I tell you don't think about a yellow banana, don't think about a yellow banana. Well, you're thinking about a yellow banana now. And so as soon as I put the idea in your mind, you're thinking about it either way, whether I tell you to think about it or not think about it. So the same thing goes true for your eating. When you're constantly thinking, I don't want to eat the ice cream tonight, I don't want to overeat at lunch, I don't want to, you know, eat too much at dinner. When we say and think these things, we imagine them, and to some degree we're programming ourselves to do that exact thing. So saying we're not going to do the thing that we're struggling with is not a real solution, not to your imagination. The real solution is what would you do instead? What would you do instead if you did what you wanted to do? How would you behave at lunch, dinner, after dinner, um, at the restaurant, social occasions? And when you start to take the time, and it takes time and it takes energy, this is why you've got to do it on purpose. It's not spontaneously going to happen ever. Your brain is designed to focus on the easiest path forward, and the easiest path forward is to say, oh, this is a problem, I'm going to stop doing it. But saying you're going to stop doing something is not the same as doing something new. And doing something new requires more energy and focus and a better strategy and plan. And it takes time and energy to do that. So when you start to work into your day, um, a little bit of time to start imagining yourself doing the things you want to do that you haven't really done up until now, that is one of the most effective things you can do to change your behavior and ultimately your weight, because it transforms you on a very deep level. So if you like this idea and you want to go deeper into it, click the link in my bio or go to programyourselfthin.com. And go get the free hypnosis session that I made for it. It's called the New Thin Me, and it is designed to help you clarify and control your behavior in a way that you've never been able to do before. And so does it work? Does it not? Well, who knows? You will never know until you go and test it yourself. So go check that out at programyourselfthin.com or click the link in my bio or. If you're on Facebook or YouTube, you can click the link I just put into the chat window here. And other than that, if you have any questions, feel free to ask them. I hope you're all having a nice day. Here we are on Monday, and I am here to answer any questions you may have. I have been helping people manage their weight for over 20 years professionally. I've worked with every diet that there is, I believe, uh, and at the end of the day, it doesn't matter what diet you're doing anyways because the real of linchpin factor of whether you're ever going to live at your goal weight or not, most likely, is can you get yourself to do the right things consistently? Can you think the right things? Can you feel the right things? Can you live the right way? And can you ultimately eat the right way in order to weigh what you want to weigh? Um, and I think that's the part that most people never really focus on with Programming Yourself Thin. We use a much more robust approach to managing your weight. So we have a mindset, lifestyle, and eating-based approach. It's a more holistic approach. Yeah, Jack says, I need some tips on my bulk. Wrong place. Don't know anything about bulking. Uh, not, not the place here. This place here is for how to live at your goal weight long term. And I think that's one of the big differences as well. It's not about just losing weight. Again, I think that's another focus that dieting kind of sets you up for failure with. This idea that you're gonna just follow some drastic plan and then stop doing it. Oops. At some point, right? Now, no one on a diet ever thinks they're gonna stop for some reason. Not conscious anyways. But deep down, I think most people are pretty anxious that they're going to quit their— they're gonna quit their plan at some point. And that's a big problem, right? Because when you always think you're going to quit the plan, once you actually do quit it, then it's a big struggle to get yourself started. So again, program yourself. Then one of the focuses we have is that we really— it's not really about weight loss, it's about living at your goal weight. And the big difference there is that living at your goal weight is a long-term goal. Getting to your goal weight is a much shorter-term goal. And so if you have any chance in hell of living at your goal weight long term, You're gonna have to, to some degree, enjoy the process. You're not gonna live a life of misery just so you can weigh something—not long term—and don't argue with me because if it was true, you'd be at your goal weight now. But what happens is you want to be at your goal weight more than anything, but you're not really willing to do that stuff. Yeah, you know, and that's fine, by the way. I'm not either. I'm not willing to work out all the time or count my. calories or, you know, track my macros or protein or whatever. I'm not gonna do it. I don't care. I don't want to do it. I got a life to live. So I have made living at my goal weight as easily as humanly possible. And so now living at my goal weight is really just my lifestyle. It's the way that I live, the way that I kind of think, the way that I eat. It's all been automated to some degree. And it's not a crazy idea. I, I know we never hear it, but it's really not a crazy idea. Yeah. Uh, what's up, Debbie? Debbie says, have to get to goal weight before I can live at it. Um, oh yeah, okay, yeah, this is the idea, right? That it's a 2-phase process is what Debbie's saying, because that's a common dieter idea, right? That, um, I just got to get to my goal weight, then, then I'll think about staying there. But that is a trap, because how are you going to get there, right? Because what you're thinking is, I don't give a shit what I got to do to lose the weight. 500 calories a day, super restrictive, count every point, um, not eat for 16 hours, whatever I got to do, I'll do it. And so you do this extreme thing to lose the weight, but you're not willing to keep it up long term. And so most likely Debbie has lost weight and then put it back on, probably a couple times at least. I would guess most people have. That's the common pattern: you lose the weight and then put it back on. But a big part of that is because you have a two-phase process in your mind. You think, "I don't give a shit what I do to lose the weight. I just want to lose the weight. Then I'll figure out how to live there." But it's estimated 85 to 95 percent of dieters. That get to their goal weight put the weight back on. Yeah, Debbie says yes, right? I get it. So at some point we have to realize the problem of why you can't control your weight is not because you can't figure out the maintenance piece. I mean, that is a part of it, but the bigger part is that you never really concentrate on the maintenance piece. And Program Yourself Thin, we start day one thinking about maintenance. Living at your goal weight is just another way to say maintenance, folks. So the point is that most of you have been dieting for decades and have no real strategy or plan for how to live at your goal weight. And you're caught in this cycle of, well, I'll just lose the weight first and then I'll figure it out. I'll do this extreme shit for a little while and then I'll figure it out. But if you take a step back and look at everyone, you realize no one's figuring it out. No one is figuring it out because no one is focusing on the right question. And the right question is not, how do I lose weight as fast as possible? It is, how do I live at my goal weight for the rest of my life on near autopilot in the easiest, most enjoyable, comfortable way possible? That's the right question to ask. And that is why it's important that you start this approach differently than you have in the past, unless you love getting the same results. So yes, you do have to get your goal weight before you can live at it. But you can focus on how you're going to live at your goal weight from the very first get-go, and that becomes the goal. The goal is not to lose weight, because if you think of it as a 2-phase thing, all your energy and motivation and time in the beginning is built on just doing a process that's gonna make you lose weight, but that's unsustainable. So I would rather use that time to come up with a plan that I can live with forever. Boy, it's different that way. Oh, title is 21st August, not 24th. Yes, I forgot to change that. Been changing a lot of things. Program Yourself Then has completely transformed. For those of you that do not know, uh, it is now a membership program. What does that mean? Well, it means that it is something that you can get involved with for a much lower, um, price to start. So that is available now. And, uh, yeah. Pretty exciting. I'll talk more about that as the week goes on, but a lot of things changing around. Program yourself, Tim. TC Buddha says, "I can't wait. I see doctor tomorrow, get my blood work results, hopefully reduce my meds." That's great. Nice job. Yep. TC lost and shots. Yep. I lost 45 pounds in three months. Weighed from 40 to 34. Nice job. You have to change your lifestyle to your system. Yes, yes, yes, exactly. Yes. So that's, uh, again, I get on here every day because my main message is that weight loss— I— let me change the concept a little bit because weight loss is just a phase. So it's like we can't just talk about weight loss, you know? And that's again a trick of the diets is they get you so fixated on losing weight that you forget that's not even your goal. Not really, right? You've all lost weight and put it back on. Your goal cannot be to go through that again, right? So your goal is actually bigger. It's to live at your goal weight. And it's really, really, really important. That distinction makes all the difference in the world. But I get on here every day because the people in my program are good, smart people that deserve to live at their goal weight. And it's not that they are lazy. It's not that they don't have the ability to do it. It's that they've never been shown the right approach, and that is why I'm on here every single day to let you good smart people know that there's a better approach that gets you better results. Yeah, Carolyn says congrats TC on the success. Nice job. Um, yep, Connie's in the program. Connie's a superstar. Says first five pounds is still my favorite fallback for when I gain a few pounds. Yeah, first five pounds—that's just a bonus program. Program yourself then. There's nothing like it. Number one hypnosis program on the planet. There is nothing like this. And now it's available for everyone to start. You know again, it's a hypnosis program at its core. So every day you're listening to a five-minute. Oh, TC says I only eat dinner and walk sixty minutes every morning. Well, okay, there we go. That part you gotta watch out for again. If it works for you, TC, knock yourself out. Great, but. The rest of you listening, I hope you don't say, "Oh, you know what TC did? He just only eats dinner and he walks 60 minutes every day." It's like that might work for TC, but it doesn't work for a lot of other people. So again, part of the program yourself then approach is that you really need to find a way that works for you, that resonates with you, and you need a way that's going to be long term. So for TC, eating one meal a day may be great, may feel great, but if it's miserable. And they're only able to get themselves to do it because they're actively losing weight quickly. It's not going to last long term, you know. So again, I can't answer that for TC. TC is the only one that knows how that feels. But for most of you, you've got to start to have that sensitivity that if what you're doing is miserable and you're only doing it for the next weigh-in, that's just you're just counting your days until you quit, you know. Yeah, yeah, yeah. TC five follow the steps in your program. Very good. Nice job. And again, it's just it's different for each person. And I say that because you know people in the weight loss world, it's like. You say you got some results, and everyone's like, "Oh, what did you do? What'd you do?" And they're just gonna try and copy it and follow it. You know, and I think that's a core problem with weight loss in this culture is that people don't take the time to really appreciate what would work for them. You know, what's up, Nancy says don't want to do the shots. Yeah, I'm sure. I mean, the shots are losing their luster day by day here, and you know, a big reason why is that. And again, I just want to make clear, I'm I'm not anti. GLP-1 at all. We have plenty of people in the program that are on GLP-1s while they learn to manage their mind, their lifestyle, and their eating naturally. But I think one of the issues with— one of the issues with the GLP-1s is that it's really starting to dawn on people that it's, it's not a forever fix. You know, a lot of people— and I've been saying this for years— because you get about 16 months of weight loss With the GLP-1s, and then you stabilize, and now you're just maintaining. And I always wondered what would happen to people when they start hitting that phase in mass, and we're starting to hit it right now. We'll see. You know, once the weight loss stops and you're left not giving a shit about food, and you don't have weight loss to look forward to, the big question becomes: Well, what do you do? What do you focus on? You know, so we see. Yeah, what's up, Jane? Jane says it's been very interesting being on Ozempic because it seems to have helped me with my shopping issues. A nice side effect. Um, yeah, sure, I, I've seen that. It is interesting. I mean, the GLP-1, you actually have GLP-1 receptors in your brain as well, and that is kind of a question and an idea of what what these things do beyond just the hunger effect of it all. Uh, and there does seem to potentially— and I say this lightly because if it was more proven, I'm sure they'd be all over the place— but the GLP-1s may help with addictive behavior as well. So that there— that is a theory or an idea out there. So maybe you're one of them. Um, yeah, Carolyn says, I'm so scared they'll find so many health issues. Yeah, I mean, who knows, you know what I mean? Again, it's— it's— GLP-1s are safe in the sense that they've studied them with diabetics for over Over 20 years, but they've never really done long-term big studies of what the GLP-1s do to people that don't have diabetes either. So that is a little bit of a mystery. I'm not so worried about the health side of it, you know, although I am curious. You know, I mean, always curious with something kind of new taken en masse, what's going to happen with that. But my my bigger issue is that once the weight loss stops and you don't give a shit about food, what what are you looking forward to? You know, it reminds me a little bit. And I'm not saying it's like this, but I'm saying it's like this, okay? Where sometimes back in the day they had Prozac and people weren't as depressed, but then it turned out they weren't as anything, and that became an issue for people moving forward. You know, some people it was the right thing still, but some people said, yeah, okay, I don't feel depressed, but I'm not feeling a lot of emotions as well. And that's one of the things I kind of think about the GLP-1s, is that not caring about food at all is great when you want to lose weight, but there's a thing called hedonic adaptation. We adapt to our reality. And so after a little while at your goal weight and the excitement of the weight loss wears off, you know, you now are basically living a life for forever. You don't really care about food, you know, and I'm just curious to see how that is for people. So looking forward to that. Uh, Peter says, if there's one thing I learned from you, if it is— if it has to be a life change, not a short-term diet. Yeah, absolutely. Again, yeah, why, why just focus on the short term? I know, like, that's what we've been sold, right? The diets have sold us just focus on the short term and get the results and then figure it out later how to stay there. Um, but that just doesn't work, right? It doesn't work for anyone. We live in a culture with 75% of the population's overweight or obese, so that plan doesn't work. So yes, Lupita, absolutely. I appreciate you saying that. Um, Connie says, I did some fasting and one meal for a couple of weeks and it worked to get me down to where I could go to a more normal meal plan several years ago. Yeah, and I've seen people use fasting and one meal for that, and I don't have a problem with that. I don't have a problem with anything. It's not my job to have a problem or whatever with what you're doing. That's not my job. You get to decide what you're going to do. You know, I always say weight is really one of the most biggest freedoms you have in life, and you get to decide what you're going to weigh, and you get to decide how you're going to do it. And I think that, uh, the golden rule of programming yourself— then there's no right or wrong, there's only what works for you. So if eating one meal a day works for you, great, you do it, okay? But if it doesn't work for you Then let it go. There's other ways. There's a million ways to manage your weight, and you don't have to do one that makes you miserable because that's never gonna work. All right, um, sure, gallbladder is an issue with fast weight loss. Uh, what's up, Pat? Pat says it's taken me a year to lose 40 pounds and I'm now 5 pounds to my goal. I changed my mindset and lifestyle, and I'm sure I'll be able to maintain this, uh, time with your program. Pat, nice job, nice job. Um, yeah, a year to lose 40 pounds is perfect. I, I think that's, that's a wonderful rate of, um, of weight loss speed. I think, I think that's right in the sweet spot. Um, because again, it's, it's, it's quick enough to— although I know going through it, it feels like it's, it's the slowest thing in the world. I get that. But when it comes to weight, slow weight loss is setting you up for long-term weight loss. Fast weight loss is not. And it's that simple. Give me an exception. You tell me an exception of fast weight loss that's associated with long-term weight loss. I'd love to hear it. I'm natural. I mean, GLP-1s, we'll see, you know, as long as you're on it, I suppose. Um, but, but diet-wise, you know, personal intervention-wise, what, what plan that's extreme to start has long-term success? I can't think. I never even heard of one, you know. So you got to watch out for that if that's true. If you can't name one here Then what you're basing your whole weight loss plan on is the hope that you'll magically stick to it, and the chances of that happening are very, very low if it's an extreme plan that no one sticks to and you haven't stuck to in the past. But nice job, Pat. Yeah, a superstar. Five pounds to my goal, and remember, the goal should be a range. I hope you're making it a range, right? We can have the lower range and then add five pounds to it. As long as you're in that range, you're at your goal weight. I know someone got on here yesterday or a couple days ago, and they're actually in the program. And they'd been at their goal weight, but they were doing it with the goal weight, like one single number. And like I always say, like trying to, you know, have your goal weight be one number that you're always trying to be at is like trying to keep your gas tank at the exact same level constantly. It's unnecessary stress for what? You know, who cares? I mean, if you got, if you got 3/4 of a tank or half a tank, who gives a shit? You know, unless you're going on a long trip or something, it just doesn't matter. And whether you're, you know, 5 pounds down or 5 pounds plus, if you're somewhere in there, I mean, what difference is it going to make? I'm so well. I'm short, Jim. You don't know how much difference five pounds can make. Come on. How much? Come on, really. Like how much difference does it make? Two size clothes. I mean, I think we exaggerated a little bit. I know it can make a difference for people, so I'm not saying it doesn't. But I think sometimes we blow it out of proportion. Tisa says eating food order. It's so important to keep insulin as low as possible. Oh yeah, yeah, sure. Yep, yep. Yeah, especially if you're dealing with diabetes. Carolyn says, I know someone who traded her dopamine fix from excited about food to a shopping addiction while on Mounjaro. Yeah, there you go, right? Um, and that's what I mean too. That's why I say, you know, like everyone's different. So if you take, you know, GLP-1 and you're, you're shopping, you know goes down, great. You know, someone else might have the opposite effect. And I think that's how we gotta look at life, you know. Just because certain people respond one way doesn't mean you're going to. And I think the quicker you start to reference everything against yourself, the better, because then you're gonna have much more accurate information. I think, again, think about dieting, right? Dieting is literally this idea that there's gonna be this one plan for everyone, right? Everyone should do keto. Everyone should do intermittent fasting if you wanna lose— everyone should count their weight. If you wanna lose weight, everyone's gonna count their points. That's how you do it. And there's no real sense of individuality with it. You know, how are you going to do Weight Watchers if you hate tracking things? What if you're not like this type of meticulous, focused person? You know, you're working against yourself. And again, I'm not saying sometimes you got to, you know, learn skills and improve things that you don't actually, you know, have a good quality now. I get that too. But I think a lot of times dieting really is fundamentally you trying to put a square peg in a round hole. You're trying to force yourself to do something that just doesn't resonate. You know, um, Shane says, I missed the beginning of this live because again it didn't come up but finally found you. I wonder if you spoke about your changes to the program. Um, yeah, changes to the program. Yeah, I did. Uh, yeah, Program Yourself In is now a membership, so it is turning into a complete membership. If you are already in the program, congrats again. Like I always say, action is rewarded. You have lifetime access to the program. And I got a little special thing coming your way as well. But from now on, the program is a membership. And the plus side of that is that you can start it for— it's kind of a lower barrier to entry, you know, so you can get started with it and see what you think. You instantly get the program, you know. So, so that is the big, the big difference there. Pat says, I have a 5-pound range. I did not start out to lose weight but to eat healthy. I did nothing extreme. I love walking and Zumba classes. That's wonderful then. Pat, that's like the best weight loss you can achieve. And I say this all the time: the ideal, if you can do it, is to make the weight loss secondary. You know, and and this is really I think the the golden approach, the golden strategy is to make the weight loss secondary. So well, what what would be primary? Well, primary can be um primary can be I want to feel better. I want to have more energy. I want to be a better version of myself. I want to sleep better. I want to feel lighter. I want to have more stamina. I'll get on the floor with my kids, my grandkids, be able to get up off the floor easily. I'll be able to go travel, ride bikes, right? So all these are really good reasons. And I think that if you can— I want to be more successful with my business. I want to be able to study more clearly so I can get my degree. Whatever is important to you in your life, if you start weaving your weight loss motivation around things that are truly important to you beyond just what you're going to look like, you're going to find that it is a lot easier to be motivated and stay motivated. So that, Pat, is perfect. It's— that's the best. Um, Debbie says, I did great on keto, great on South Beach, great on Optavia until I didn't. Yeah, exactly, Debbie. Thank you. Right. And that's what I mean. And that's the big problem. And that's dieting in a nutshell, because dieting is built to— you keep trying the same thing and/or you keep trying something different. But the problem is that you do it and then every time you're done doing it, you go back to what you always did. And so there's no consistent thread of improvement there. So in Program Yourself Thin, you know, listen, we will— we'll take aspects of keto or South Beach or Mediterranean or intermittent fasting. We'll take aspects of all of it. Because what we're doing in Program Yourself then is we're creating a one-size-fits-one plan customized and built for you. And so, you know, if there's aspects of keto that work for you, let's take those, but then let's round out the edges so it's not so difficult for you. You know, again, my basic on keto, my general feeling is going into ketosis is goofy, but reducing refined carbs is smart. You know, but they're two totally different things. One's super strict and one's a lot more lenient. And I know super strict gets you the fastest results, but it gets you the fastest results for the shortest amount of time. And so, yeah, you know, I think most people can relate to the idea that they do great on the plan when they're fixated and focused and losing weight and everything is all about that diet. They can do it. And the second they go back to living a normal life, they fall off that plan. But this is because that plan was built to be the only thing that mattered. It'd be 100%. Let me just frame it a different way in the language of the program again. Debbie, I'm not sure your name looks new. To me, but if you're not in my world here, click the link in my bio, or you can scroll up comments. You'll see the link I put in there. Go get the hypnosis session that I just made, because what we talk about here at Program Yourself Then is the idea that ultimately your weight is run by your programming, your subconscious programming, what you do automatically, the way you think, the way you live, the way you eat naturally and automatically without even thinking about it. Is what's controlling your weight, and all of this is happening subconsciously. You don't have to be aware of it. And every time you go on a diet, it's you consciously controlling all of your behavior, and it's tiring, it's difficult, and it's not built for your brain. You know, and so I think it's really important that we start to realize that ultimately it's your subconscious program that's dictating your weight more than anything else. I can tell you what to do. But being able to get yourself to do it is a completely different process. And if you look at every diet and weight loss plan you've ever done, it's always about what to do and never about how to get yourself to do it long term. And where Program Yourself Thin is really different than that is that Program Yourself Thin was built by studying people that lost weight and kept it off. And that's the big difference. So it's built on the long term. And when you study people that have successfully lost weight and kept it off, what you quickly notice is it's not a conscious-only process. They have changed a lot of their programming. And so in Program Yourself, then we take that realization and build around it so that the program is really built for you to change your subconscious programming so that you naturally and automatically do the things that get you to your goal weight and then keep you there in the most comfortable way possible. Yep, Debbie says I emailed it to you the other day. Very good, very good. Yeah, make sure you watch that because it is, um, that's, that's kind of the, the description of the whole thing, I would say. And I think it makes a lot of sense. I will tell you, in this culture, we are conditioned to undervalue and underestimate the power of your subconscious mind, the power of imagination used properly and effectively. And to me, that's what hypnosis is. To me, hypnosis is really the power of your imagination systematized into a process. And, um, believe me, the power of your imagination is very, very strong. But again, I say it, you know, and it sounds like Disney World and kids and, you know, stuff that doesn't really matter, not serious, but it's very, very serious. But yes, but yeah, any questions on weight, feel free to ask them. Anything you might be doing, I know a lot of people getting ready to dial back in. A lot of people, you know, this is kind of like the last weeks of summer here, and people are kind of enjoying that, and as you should. But as you consider, you know, dialing back in, consider what that means. If it means you forcing yourself onto some new plan, you might want to reevaluate that, reconsider, because plans that are difficult to start are difficult to keep up. You want a fun, comfortable, easy plan. You say, what's that, Jim? Well, program yourself. Then let me give you an alternative. It's built around hypnosis. So each morning you start with a 5-minute hypnosis session. Now what happens when you listen to that session is 2 key things. Number one is you relax and calm down your nervous system. You quiet your brain. You oxygenate your body. You step into this state of calm, peaceful groundedness. That's the first thing. Every hypnosis session of mine that you listen to, it's, it's like a meditation in the sense that your, your body and mind go into a certain state that's very valuable. The next thing is you're getting really good ideas put into your mind that you're never getting now. This is why hypnosis is really powerful. Listen, every commercial you see is hypnosis. They, they're all using hypnotic techniques. And if you look around, what you'll realize in your life is you're constantly getting hypnosis messages to consume more, eat more, and you're never getting consistent good hypnotic messages to think better, to live better, to eat better. Because when you do, what ends up happening is you want to do those things. See, right now the way you approach weight loss is it's you Waiting till you have enough willpower to force yourself to stop doing the things you like doing, and then program yourself. Then we're using your willpower. We're using the willpower to listen to these sessions, to run a process on your own mind, so that you program your subconscious mind to you program your subconscious mind to think, live, and eat the way that gets you to your goal weight and keeps you there. That's that's the different approach. Jane says, with your new program set up, do you still do we still get the Tuesday sessions with you? No, those are actually, and I want to make because I sent an email on. I just want to say this for anyone who's in the program again. If you're actively in the eight weeks, if you got the program when it was sold at a higher price, you get lifetime access to it. You'll have access to everything you know for the eight weeks that you're in it. And then I got a special kind of gift coming for you. If you have finished the 8 weeks, if you are past the 8 weeks, um, the Jim AI and the, the live Tuesday calls, uh, I was giving to you, you know, and I've been doing that for over a year or 2 here actually. Um, but no, those are, those are now part of the monthly program, um, and aren't continued as the original program. And again, those were never put in there. I just want to make that clear because I, I, I want to be very clear here. I always say program yourself then. You know, it's been a it's a lifetime program for people that bought the whole program as a chunk, and you will continue to get lifetime access to that. All updates that happen, you'll get access to those. You can restart the program and those those eight weeks of emails as many times as you want. But you know, the the Tuesday class and the Gym AI, those are things you know they cost me money for people to use them. And so you know, it's just it's unsustainable for me to. keep that going for free forever. But so no, those are no longer part of, um, part of the old program if you're done with the original 8 weeks, right? And you'll be able to see, um, you'll be able to see it. Uh, I'll miss Gym AI. Uh, Pat, you'll have a way to get in there, um, as well. And I think you're still in— I still— you're still in the 8 weeks anyways. Um, so there'll be an opportunity to continue with that as well. Um, so Gym AI is still there, it's just part of the monthly program. Um, but you don't have to worry about that, Pat, right now because I believe you started pre-zoom. Um, Jane says, when do the changes start? Um, the changes have started. The changes have started and they should be all enacted now, I believe. Um, sometimes there's a little straggler stuff that lingers, but, um, yeah, the changes have taken place and everything's been updated. Um, you won't really notice much. Again, if you have been in the program, you finished your 8 weeks, the biggest change you'll notice is the Circle app. Um, it doesn't look the same, and the Circle app really will be relatively irrelevant for you now. Um, but remember, the Circle app was, you know, the Circle app was just a bridge to get to the program, so you still have access to the membership area where all the, the content is. And so you'll have that forever. Um, yeah, and says, I spoke to Jim AI last night. Um, yeah, that, that's probably gone. That was updated today, so that, that is probably finished. Um, again, if you want to continue with that, it is still part of If you're in the program, if you've been in the program and you want to continue with the monthly thing, there is a special offer for Thrive. And again, that's running for a couple more days here. I've let people know, but I'm about to get rid of that whole thing. So it is a discounted rate that you can keep for life if you're in there, but I'll send a couple more emails out before it officially goes out of here. But that is gone. But the big news for any of you that are not in the program is that now you have the opportunity to get involved with the program Uh, for a much lower barrier of entry. So that's kind of the exciting part. And, um, a lot of people taking advantage of that. I'm excited to see you in there. So yes, the program has shifted a bit and will continue to shift a bit, but I think it's all for the best. And again, if you're— if you've been in the program, please understand that nothing is changing there, um, other than Gym AI and the Tuesday live calls, um, which were bonuses that I kept— I kept in the loop of, but those have changed, but everything else is the same. So yeah, if you have any questions— Pat says you're still going to do daily podcasts. Yep, yep, I'm still the lives. I do the lives for free. Um, I'll do these forever. I love doing these and I always do these. So these are always an opportunity for you to, um, stick with it as well. Lois says, hi, tuning in a little late. I'm not in the program, but I figured if you wanted your podcast every day, um, will you continue non-members on your podcast? Yeah, yeah. This, this continues to be free. So yeah, the— like I said, the program has shifted so that if the price was kind of prohibitive for you at one point, it's a better setup that you can get in it now and start using it. And yes, all the free stuff will remain exactly the same other than it might get better, you know. So right now, one of the things I do is I have Program Yourself Thin Daily, which is just a free email program I give out, and it's just, it's literally daily coachings I send out for free. Um, and I've got one of the things I am going to be focusing a lot more on is my social media content. So that will, um, that will be improving. I hope improving. It'll certainly get more attention, uh, over the next couple months here and beyond as well. So, um, I'm really excited about that. So Yeah, but if you have any questions, feel free to ask them. Any weight loss questions are welcome. Again, I know a lot of people— it is so funny, it's so funny. Like, there's such, um, I don't know, like, what do you call it, kind of— I don't know, like, there's seasons of the year just— and it's not even just seasons, there's definitely seasons. Like, between Christmas and New Year's, it's kind of a lull. Um, the week around Fourth of July are kind of lulls, and then the week right before September is usually like a little bit of a lull weight-wise. And it's so interesting. And, uh, yeah, but anyways, yeah, it says I just answered the question. Okay, yeah, I'll be— I'll continue the podcast, uh, continue the lives. Can't wait. And as a matter of fact, actually, that is something else in terms of the lives, uh, actually it's a little bit of a crossover in terms of the how the lives are going to go and how, um, the social media is going to go a little bit, is that one of the things I'm going to do, and I've been meaning to do this for a couple months, just haven't gotten to it, but Will now is that I'm going to do some lives that, and this will be through TikTok initially anyways, but basically it'll be like call-ins. So you'll be able to literally talk if you want to, and that'll be really cool because that's probably my best skill, maybe outside of hypnosis, is coaching. Uh, I've done over 6,000 private weight loss coaching sessions, and so to be able to hear How how I can help a person kind of get through some struggles and challenges real time talking to them. I think you'll all enjoy that very much. So we'll we'll see. But that's something this week or next week I'm gonna. I don't know if I'm gonna do it during the noon one. I I might do like kind of a noon one for a little while, then kind of pop off and come on in this other format and see how it goes. But that that's definitely a plan I want to do as well. Sophie of London. Sophia says, "What's this hypnosis?" Um, yeah, I guess it's hypnosis. You know, I guess at the end of the day it is hypnosis. I tend to think of it as 2 types of hypnosis. It's hypnosis I do to my clients, and it's the self-hypnosis I teach them to do to themselves. And I think that in a nutshell is Program Yourself Thin, um, the process. And on top of that, you're getting kind of the wisdom of my over 20 years of working with people that have successfully lost weight and kept it off. And what their patterns and strategies and techniques are. And I've kind of codified that into this book here, which is called the Goal Weight Blueprint. Right, 144 pages is solid gold. And what this does is this is a blueprint, you know, that comes with the program that you work through kind of step by step, and it really becomes your own customized approach to getting to your goal weight and staying there. And again, it's built around kind of a three-step process of. Mindset, lifestyle, and eating. And obviously we break that down into some other you know categories. But that's the basic idea. So that you ultimately end up know how to think, live, and eat like a thin, healthy, happy person. Right? And that's the idea. All right, everyone. I'm gonna get out of here again. If you're not in my world, click the link in my bio. Go to program yourself then and go check it out. It's um like I said, free hypnosis session will help you get started. Uh, if you like this, I'm here every Monday through Friday. We're usually around noon Eastern. Uh, pop on here, ask any questions you have. I'm happy to help you. And if you can't make the live, it's also a podcast you can listen to anytime you want. Just search any podcast platform, program yourself, then boom, there it is. You're, you're in. So, all right, everyone, have a super duper day and we'll talk soon. Bye.
