Jim Katsoulis says the biggest diet mistake is picking an approach that looks good on paper instead of one you can actually stick to. Keto, intermittent fasting, and strict calorie counting work fast but are too rigid to last, so people gain the weight back.

The number one diet mistake I see people making is that they choose a diet based on how it looks on paper and not how it shows up in the real world. Yes, keto, intermittent fasting, counting calories, sounds great. On paper, it's probably the fastest way that you can lose weight. However, it's also the most rigid and unsustainable. And so in the real world, while you may lose weight for a little while, while you can follow it, you can't follow it for long. And so you ultimately go off the plan, put the weight back on, and have to start all over again. So the way to stop this once and for all is to choose a weight loss plan that may not look great on paper. It may not be the fastest weight loss, but it's built for the long term, because it's not about how fast you lose the weight. It's about how long you keep it off for. And the secret to making that happen is to choose a plan that really works in the real world. And if you have no idea what a plan like that looks like, click the link in my bio, get the hypnosis session I gave you, and watch the video I made for you. They're both free.
