And all you need to do that is to do one thing, shift your perspective. When you think about eating the foods that you struggle with, what's happening is you're thinking about eating that food first person, you're looking at the food, thinking about the pleasure of it, eating it. What I want you to do is to zoom out, and I want you to imagine watching yourself eating that food at your current weight so you can see yourself at your weight that you're not happy with eating the food that's causing that weight to be. And when you start to do this, you start to get a more complete, fuller picture. Yes, it tastes pleasurable, but when you take the whole thing into account, you realize it also is causing you a lot of pain. This helps clarify in your mind to realize that food is not as pleasurable as you thought it was, and now it becomes much easier to not eat as much of it.
