A short YouTube micro-lesson by Jim Katsoulis explaining that the subconscious responds to the questions we ask it; reframing common negative questions about weight loss (e.g., "Why can't I stick with it?") into a constructive query — "How can I lose weight in the easiest way possible?" — will elicit better answers from the subconscious and make weight loss easier.

The question that makes weight loss easy. So before I tell this to you, it's important for you to understand that your subconscious mind is a servo mechanism, which just means it's answering the questions that you ask of it. And the questions you usually ask when it comes to weight loss are about how hard it is, why it's so difficult, why I can't stick with it. And so once you ask better questions, you're going to get better answers. So the question that makes weight loss easy is how can I lose weight in the easiest way possible? Now, I know you don't have an answer to that yet. I understand that. But you're also not asking that question. And once you start asking that question consistently and you really start focusing on it and thinking about it, you're going to come up better answers. And once you come up with those better answers, weight loss becomes much, much easier.
