Weigh yourself every day if you're going to use a scale while you're losing weight, because if you just weigh yourself once a week, you're really setting yourself up for failure because you probably have bigger weight fluctuations day to day than you realize. When I weighed myself every day, the biggest weight fluctuations I would notice is about 5 pounds in 24 hours. And so let's just say you're weighing yourself once a week. If you weigh yourself in the first week and you're down those 5 pounds, and the next week you weigh yourself and you're up those 5 pounds, even if there was no other weight difference, it's going to look like you put 10 pounds on that week, which is going to be devastating to your motivation. So if you weighed yourself the day after, you would have realized when the weights evened out that you were even. So weighing yourself every day is a much more accurate view of how your body responds to what you're doing, and it sets you up for much more success.
