What I do immediately after I overeat. I believe the number one skill you need in order to lose the weight you want to lose and to live at that weight for the rest of your life, is the ability to get back on track fast. You have got to put out of your mind that you're going to start a diet and be perfect until you reach your goal weight. You're not, you're going to make mistakes. So you need to start right from the beginning having a strategy of how you're going to get back on track fast. Because just like in politics, they say it's not the crime, it's the COVID up with weight loss, it's not the binge, it's what you do afterwards. And and dieters are notorious for making a mistake and then getting completely off track for weeks, months or years. So the thing I do after I overeat or make a bad food choice immediately is that I will drink water. Now, the reason I do this is because as soon as I make a mistake, I want to do the fastest thing I can possible to signal to my mind and my body that I'm back on track. I made a mistake, I understand what I did, I'm going to correct for it and learn from it and I'm going to get myself back on track. And so the number one thing I will do is I will drink water to let myself know that I'm back on track. Track.
