Short YouTube monologue by Jim Katsoulis arguing that having more nutritional knowledge won’t make you lose weight; what matters is the ability to consistently act on what you already know. He frames the problem as one of behavior and mindset rather than lack of information, and advises focusing on how to get oneself to follow known diet/exercise plans.

Which would help you lose weight more. An encyclopedia with every nutritional fact of all the foods in the world in it. Or a little magic pill that would allow you to eat the way that you know you should? Well, the answer is obvious. You could read that entire book and you'd be no more likely to lose weight. Let that sink in. It's not the knowledge of what you should do that's controlling your weight. It is your ability to get yourself to do what you already know you should. You already have enough knowledge about nutrition and exercise to start losing weight. What you have to start focusing on is how can you get yourself, yourself to do it consistently? And there's no diet or workout plan in the world that's ever going to answer that for you. What you want to focus on is your behavior. And what's influencing your behavior more than anything else is how you're thinking.
