The speaker argues regret prevents authentic living and cites Tom Peters on making mistakes quickly to learn. Keeping your foot on the brake stops you from walking through windows of opportunity. Bold action beats measured caution.

I think that's beautiful because we don't, we're not really living if we're living with regret. And I love what something Tom Peters said years ago. He goes, what we need to do is learn to make our mistakes faster because if we aren't making mistakes, we aren't learning anything. We're not growing any wiser. And if you're going to try to go through life without making any mistakes, you're not going to go anywhere. That's like going through life with your foot on the brake. You know, the brake is useful and we want to do a little risk mitigation here and there before we do something big and bold. Right. Yeah, go for it. And I love that. Just the, the, the window of opportunity opens up, walk through it, and let go of the idea that you're gonna live with regret the rest of your life.
