Fear comes from tying your identity to things you can lose: jobs, relationships, possessions. The fix is detachment: love what you have but stay okay without it. When you believe you'll land on your feet, most worries disappear.

Fear comes from tying your identity to things you can lose: jobs, relationships, possessions. The fix is detachment: love what you have but stay okay without it. When you believe you'll land on your feet, most worries disappear.
Once you attach to something, a job, a person, a house, a car, anything, a title, once you attach to that, you live in perpetual fear of losing it because you're attached. And so the principle is detachment. What that means is I love it. I love you. I love my job. I love where I live. I love my lifestyle, but I'm okay with or without it. I'm going to land on my feet. I'm going to, you know, I'm not going to attach my identity to something I have no control over. So once you get past that, which takes courage and sense of fearlessness, then you get into a world of true inspiration. In spirit, it means fearless. Once we're in that spiritual realm and we realize that so much of what we've worried about is an illusion, because we get over it, we're like, what was I afraid of? Right?
