So, Bob, thanks for joining us. Regardless of who shows up, at least I have one participant. So thank you, mate. As always, weekly lives gonna be recorded. I used to record these. I would prep for them. Now I'm just gonna share them live. It's just gonna be my weekly lessons from the week. So what's up, guys? Thanks for joining and these videos are an opportunity for me to just express whatever it is that I've learned this week. And it's such a, such an important practice for me now to just understand, integrate lessons that are coming from, from life as it happens. And you know, I want to really share this with you guys and encourage you to reflect on your own lessons and use this time, whether it's a Sunday or Monday, to reflect on your lessons throughout the week. And today I wanted to talk about living your soul mission. And, you know, living your soul mission is. I don't know, sometimes I can feel a little bit esoteric when you hear that, right? Like, what the hell? What the hell does that mean, living your soul mission? But it really comes to my understanding that it's really our purpose here in life to discover what our sole mission is. And, you know, given the fact that this time three and a half years ago, or this time three years ago, actually, I was working in a corporate job, living a completely different life, working as a corporate tax accountant here in Perth, and I felt like I wasn't living my soul mission. And it was sort of within that process. It's within the seeds of the times when we realize we're not living our soul's mission is when this inner process starts to unravel. And I really, this weekend was reflecting on that because I was like, right, you know, what is our mission here on planet Earth as each individual, you know, being, you know, we're all a unique expression of one consciousness, a spirit, a soul. We're a vessel for that expression. And we each have a specific purpose and a mission through that unique set of gifts, skills, and innate abilities we've been given based on who we are. And when I reflected on when I was working in my corporate job and I felt like a number, I didn't feel like I was a unique expression because I was in an office where I was replaceable easily. You just punched in numbers in a screen. And if you're checking in and checking out of your job, that's where it's time to reflect. Am I living my soul's mission in doing this? Are my unique gifts, strengths, and innate abilities being utilized at my job in what I'm currently doing, my answer to that question was no back then. So doggo here. And once you identify that, okay, where I am right now, maybe this isn't utilizing my unique strengths and abilities. That's the first acknowledgement. The second acknowledgment is there's a reason why you're. You're at that position. For me, when I was, when I was accountant, there's a reason why I wasn't an accountant. Because to live my soul's mission, I had to go back, get clear on all the beliefs, all the emotions that had resulted in me getting to that point in my journey where I had suppressed my greatness. And the external manifestation of that was staying stuck in a soul sucking job because I didn't believe I was worthy to live my soul's mission. So that's where the process actually began. It was understanding that, oh, okay, right, I created this life. I then take full responsibility for this situation that I was in. And then it began an inner process of looking back inward to identify, okay, where in my life was I suppressed? Where in my life did I learn these limiting beliefs that resulted in me having certain set of identities or behaviors that made me feel small? And this is where the understanding of the transformational process begins. Right, because you know, I've just had a group call with some of my group clients here and we discussed the transformational ladder and how it starts. The top, where you have your behavior, your identity, your personality. That's at the top, who you show up as, as the world. Underneath that is your stories, your thoughts, the thought, the stories you tell yourself. Underneath that you've got your emotions, emotions that are going on inside the body. So sometimes we experience certain emotions and our thoughts create a story about those emotions. So if, say, one of your behaviors, your identity for me was being stuck in a, in a soul sucking job, you know, not really expressing my greatness. You know, the story that I had around that was, oh, you know, I'm not, no, I'm not worthy of following my, my soul's path. It's true. If I stand up and be vulnerable, I'd be judged. It's not safe. I got to, you know, I got to settle for a comfortable, mediocre job because I need comfort and security. It's not safe to follow my purpose. The emotion underneath that was like, there's a bit of anxiety. There was a bit of like fear. If I ever thought about stepping out and sharing my truth in public, I would get like anxious and place more so identifying, okay, we've got an emotion down here that stuck. And then going back into here. When did I learn what beliefs about life are tied to these emotions? And the beliefs actually get shaped from early on in our lives when we go through experiences where someone maybe puts us down, someone judges us, someone shames us. For me, it was some shame. I got shamed earlier on in life about when I stood up and spoke my truth. So the belief I created around that was, it's not safe for me to do that. I, maybe I upset other people when I'm, when I express my uniqueness, when I express my Purpose. Because as kids, think about, when you're a kid, you're expressing your soul mission. You look at a kid and they're running around the world. Their sole mission is to be that full expression, that full expression of who they are. Yet we get suppressed growing up because we experience trauma in various degrees that ultimately masks our greatness. So once you reach a point in your journey, it ultimately becomes you just taking off the layers of the masks that are preventing your true greatness from coming through, your true unique expression from coming through, because it's been down there all along. So for me, it was about going back and unraveling this process, getting to those core traumatic original incident events, seeing them with new eyes, and then ultimately realizing that my purpose was embedded within those traumatic incidents where I got shamed, where I got humiliated, where someone embarrassed me, and then I shut down and played small. And my mind said it's now not safe for me to speak up and be myself. Ultimately, my purpose is now being discovered through that pain, which is to love myself so that I can then love others and support others and them discovering their truth and their purpose. So within your pain becomes the seeds of your purpose. And once you begin this inner journey, all of a sudden you start to see these things with new eyes. So discovering your soul mission. And there was another, another thing that came through me in that. Right. And this is why, this is a big part of why I share this stuff is because I've identified that once you get clear on what your unique strengths and gifts are, and once you start to open the channel, meaning some of these suppressed emotions now have space to move. Energy is now moving back freely through you. What's. What starts to come through is something creative, is something unique. And this uniqueness that starts to come through you once you've done your inner work, once you've let go of the emotional blocks that are going on inside you, you start to get a unique expression of consciousness, God, the universe, soul. A unique expression comes through you. Something that hasn't the world hasn't seen yet. And I remember like learning about tax. I was like reading these that thick tax books about tax legislation. And it was like numbing my mind because there was nothing unique in this. You're just a number. You're like a computer. So discovering what is your unique expression then opens up the channel for more life to move through you. So the more clear your body, the more life energy can move through. Then that comes to the next stage, which is something that I was reminded of this weekend. So I took the. If anyone watched my stories over the weekend, you would have seen me talk about this. But I took some time away. I went, booked a hotel in Fremantle here in Western Australia. And I sat and I sat by the water on Saturday afternoon and I silenced my mind and I got back into my body and I started to like, feel this like channel of energy move through me, right? And when that channel of energy was moving through, it was about what was my way of expressing that. Because once the channel gets opened, right, Life comes through. The next step is being the vessel of expression. My vessel of expression, I'm realizing, is speaking, is sharing. Because for so long I couldn't share this. My pain was like, I was small, I was very shy. I was very afraid of speaking in front of other people. Because of that trauma that happened to me, some people kept shutting me down. That belief that, that limiting belief I had around, it's not safe for me to follow my truth or share my share, my uniqueness. That is now my vehicle of expression because I transmuted the pain into purpose. Being willing to express your soul's mission is the next stage. Because when the vessel opens and you become the channel of expression, more energy comes through. So this is my invitation for you guys and I want you to start to think about this stuff is what is your vehicle of expression? I just gave you example of. For me, it's speaking, sharing, sharing my lessons, sharing what I'm going through in my personal development journey. I'm a coach. So ultimately my purpose is now emerged into supporting others, becoming their greatest and most unique expression. But what is yours? Is your vehicle of expression Writing? Maybe. Maybe you've got a book, amazing book. And I've got shout out to one of my clients, Emily Strange. She's got an amazing book that's about to come out. Her vehicle of expression is writing. Such a beautiful writer. Her emotion just pours out in her writing. Maybe for you it's dancing. Maybe like you're just naturally a good dancer. I'm not, so I'm not going to dance. But if you're. If your vehicle of expression is dancing, maybe your body just like flows. Emotion moves through your body. And I, I'm in awe of people who can dance so freely because that's their expression. Maybe yours is singing, you know, maybe you're. Maybe you have a beautiful voice and your emotion comes through your voice, whatever it is. Start to get clear on what is my vehicle of expression for my soul's mission and you'll know that expression will come through loud and clear. When the energy is clear, you've processed your emotions, you're cultivating these elevated beliefs that you are worthy of greatness, you are unique, you are special, you are loved. That's when this expression comes through in such a beautiful way. So ultimately, what happens when you start to do this, when you start to channel your expression and you start to give yourself a medium or a platform or. Or a place where you can just allow consciousness to move through in your unique way, life energy gets enhanced. And that's how I felt over the weekend. I was sitting there on Saturday. I was like, wow, just like, I had my get. My girlfriend Amanda was with me. I was like, hey, we're gonna shoot a video. Shoot video. I'm feeling that. I'm feeling the open here. I want to express this. And just by inviting that freedom of expression to come through, it lit me up with energy for the. For the rest of the evening. And this is such a powerful thing, guys. If anyone's, you know, actively is a creative person, you know, when you practice creativity, it gives you this life force. Creativity is like a muscle. The more you use it, the more energized you feel. So, you know the times when you don't feel creative, Always the times when you feel like you're just. You're holding onto things, you're stressed out, you're anxious, you're worried, you're fearful. You can't be creative in those times. And that's where this inner work comes in. And don't get me wrong, like, there's this. There's times where I really struggle with creativity, and they're usually the times where I want to go out and go for a walk. I'll go meditate, I'll go do some breath work. You know, changing my state is really important. And, you know, that's. That's where we get to become our own experimenter. We're learning how to navigate this vessel, this body, this, you know, this. This suit that we wear, this identity that we have. We're learning how to navigate it so that we can optimize it so that we're more open and things are flowing. And that's another great example was when you. When you curate your environment to allow life to move through you so that you can become a vessel, curate the environment. Nature is like, for me, such a powerful way to get into that state where you can allow something unique to come through. Using your environment, environment to set you up so that you can be creative, channel your expression, and find out how Life wants to move through you. That's another great thing. When I meditate as well. And I want you to. I want to invite you guys to start doing this too. Ask. Ask God. Ask the universe. Ask your higher self. How does life want to move through me? Ask that. Life uses you as a unique expression. Use me as a vessel. Move through me today. This is where affirmations, your prayers, your mantras come in commune with this higher place. Invite it to move through and see what comes up. See what comes up for you throughout that process. And really, this is kind of the man. I'm just gonna see if some people have questions. Yeah. If anyone has a question, feel free to shout out. Really, really glad that you guys can join me on this. I really enjoy sharing this stuff. You are perfect just the way we are. The belief in your thoughts are good or bad. Yep, Exactly. Agreed. But, yeah, I mean, guys, this. This is the invitation for find your expression, you know, And I really want to challenge you to play around with different expressions. Like, because ultimately, when it's unbound, when it's unbound by the mind, the mind and all its limitations, all its doubts and fears, and, oh, you're not. You're not good enough to do that. You're not smart enough. You don't have enough time. When you put all that to the side and just allow life to move through you in whatever way. Sometimes sport is a great way. Like, sometimes just playing sport. Playing soccer for me was my expression growing up as a kid. Like, just to go out and play and have fun and not be bound by restrictions of the mind. And whatever way you find something unique that allows you to express yourself, it just fills you with so much energy and gratitude and love and appreciation for life. That this was my lesson for this week was, you know, when I. When I become a vehicle for that expression, life. Life feels more alive. You feel more alive when you have something that's moving through you. And ultimately it becomes a practice as well. Creativity does become a practice. The more you can start to carve out time in your day to be creative, to allow life to move through you. It grows and you get better at it. And then ultimately, over time, you can start to share this with other people. It took me a while to get to the point where I could jump on Instagram live and talk about this stuff. It took me a while to get to the point where I could get on stage and deliver a speech to someone because I was so scared. Some of my greatest fears were within these practices. Right? And when we start to lean into our fears and see that, okay, behind those emotions that we're afraid to feel is even and isn't even greater purpose because it shows like this. This is actually what's been masked all along. And that is where your fear becomes your navigator. And that's where I'd invite you. Once you find it an expression, can you start to share that? How can you share that with the world? Can you post a video of you dancing? Can we see some of your writing online? Have you had a lesson in the week? You want to share that with your writing? Maybe you're an amazing painter and artist. Share that with the world. We want to see it when we see other people living their expression, it lights us up and inspires us. So I want to. I just appreciate you guys for joining me on here on this live and gonna post this to my story as well. I just want to mention I got a new podcast that's out as well. I highly suggest you guys check it out. The podcast is with a guy from east coast of Australia. His name's Mason, Mason Taylor. He has founded the brand Super Feast Mushrooms. So if you haven't heard of tonic herbalism, you got to check this stuff out, guys. Tonic herbalism is where it's at. Mushrooms are where it's at. Now, I've been using mushrooms now for probably the last six months. And not just the psychedelic mushrooms, I use the. I use lion's mane, cordyceps, ashwagandha. There's a bunch of medicinal mushrooms out there that right now that I truly believe. Once you get a taste for the mushrooms, they're a consciousness. And mushrooms will support you in you becoming your highest expression. Now, microdosing a bit of psilocybin is something I've been trying to, you know, over the past couple of years. When you micrograph a bit of psilocybin, it's almost like the portal for life gets ripped open and like consciousness moves through you. Very powerful tool and I'm a big advocate and proponent for it. But Mason and I chatted on my latest podcast about how we use other mushroom compounds in ways to support the healthy functioning of the body and the mind and the emotional body. It was a super interesting chat. I learned a lot from him. So please check that out. It's the latest podcast and other than that, if there's anything I shared on here that resonated with you or you want to discuss this further, feel free to send me an Instagram DM and would love to connect and hear about what your soul mission is. Or maybe if there's anything getting in your way of expressing your soul mission, maybe there's some something you're holding onto down there, a belief or an emotion that's blocking it from coming through that you're having a hard time letting go of. Send me a message and I'm more than happy to dive deep into that with you and we'll be in touch soon. Guys, I appreciate you guys joining this this live. I've really enjoyed sharing this with you all and thanks again. Much love. Hey, there we have it, guys. Thanks so much for listening to this episode. And yeah, look, if you made it this far, cool. Here's my voice again in Yuria and I'm going to make one more request for you is go ahead and subscribe and leave a comment on the podcast page because I'm really putting a lot of focus and attention on getting this podcast out to more people because I know what I'm putting in here can serve and bring value to people and it would mean a lot if you got value from this to leave some feedback and subscribe.
