As you can see in the background. This week, got a whiteboard for my office, which is a great addition. You know, a whiteboard or, you know, I use journaling for this as well, but something where you can just like brain dump all the things that are going through your mind. And I'm someone who, like, I'll have like all these compartments, whether it's business, finances, relationships, like other things that I should to do list that are just like stored away in my mind. If I don't get that stuff down, it just starts to take up space and it affects my ability to just function effectively. So a whiteboard was such a great investment and I'm going to use it today for the lessons because I've made note of a few things that I wanted to share with you that I found to be super valuable to in my journey, in my growth this week. So the first one that I'm gonna write down here is switching routine. I've wrote down switching routine because this week I've been changing my routine up being instead of doing my meditations first thing in the morning, which I used to do, I've been doing exercise first. And the value in having variety in the way you go about your life and the way you go about your routines allows you to start to observe how your mind is affected by certain things. And the example I just gave being, what happens when you exercise before meditation? What happens if you do breath work instead of a regular meditation? What happens if you eat lunch at a different time? Just observing how your body and mind adapts when you change up the routine allows you to stay creative, allows you to stay fresh, and it just keeps things exciting. So switching routine. For me this week, it's been about exercising first thing in the morning. Soon as I wake up, I'm going to go out, do some exercise, get the body moving, get the energy flowing, and then when I return back from my exercise, that's when I slow things down, slow down the mind, and I use breath as a way to do that. So I go into some deep breath work. And breath work is such a phenomenal way in allowing you to really just like, calm the mind down, get into the emotional body, clear out anything that's in there. And. And that lethal combination of breath work with movement gives you such a solid foundation for your morning routine. Guys, like, I can't emphasize that enough. Having solid foundational practices in your morning routine and then being willing to, like, mix up, mission, mash change it up, put different things in there, try meditating first, try exercising first, whatever it may be. So that was a big one that I wanted to share with you guys. And the other thing that I wrote down in my little journal here is be flexible, like water. And the reason I like saying this to myself is because life throws us so many different curveballs. And if you're not flexible, if you're not willing to flow with the different things that come into your world, you can very easily hit up against resistance because life is going to throw us things, right? It's like, it's our ability to be flexible and just flow around different challenges that come up is going to shape how well you're able to really effectively function in a society right now where there's so much uncertainty, there's so much resistance coming up through the challenges. And Changes that are happening. Think about all the changes that are happening right now. If you're not able to be flexible and cultivate that ability. If you can do this when you're out in nature, spend some time in nature and observe how water moves around rocks, how it flows. When you're at the beach, it's just flowing very freely and effectively. How can you start to embody this yourself? How can you start to take on the traits that water has? When it's moving through rocks, it's just like a mold around them. When it hits resistance, it just flows through it and around it. Where the exact same. You know, if you're holding on to tight emotions on the inside, you're going to bump up against the things and it's going to be. It's going to be difficult when change happens, it's going to be challenging because you haven't cultivated that ability to be flexible. So flexibility gets cultivated not just physically through doing yoga and things like that. Mentally, like, can you wake up on a day and not have anything planned and just flow with what comes to you? I used to do this a lot when traveling. Well, not a lot, but when I traveled, I would try not to plan too much and try and just flow with, like, whatever life has in store. Okay, cool. Let's just be flexible. Let's see what comes up. Or if you go and hang out with certain people and they've got their own plan and schedule for the day, can you just flow with that and be flexible? Be flexible like water? It's going to give you that ability to navigate challenges. The other thing that I wanted to mention that has come up for me and a lot of the clients that I work with is the observation that we are doing in a work. When you're engaging in an internal process, when you're creating shifts on the inside, you're having realizations, you're having breakthroughs, maybe you're moving beyond some trauma, you're getting beyond something on the inside. Oftentimes there's a bit of a lagging indicator between internal shifts that you make and then life reflecting back those internal shifts. So know that if you're engaging in a process, then having a little bit of patience and faith that if you are having big breakthroughs, you are noticing a shift in how you're feeling, what you want is on its way. And I really, truly believe that. Like, if you. If you've gone to. If you're going to prioritize your internal state and you start to consistently show up in a way that allows you to feel more grateful, allows you to feel more joyful and excited and happy and content with life. Life is going to acknowledge that you just have to have a bit of patience and life will be like, here you go. Wow, you're killing. Have this. Here's an opportunity, here's someone you can connect with. Here's more money. Whatever it is that you want will come to you. When you embody that element of patience, when, hey, I've got everything I need in here. And when you live from that place, life will take care of you. I guarantee you guys. And a lot, a lot of this stuff is having faith and trust. Like, in times like these, faith and trust is what's going to get you through a lot of the challenges. Have faith that you're being guided. Have trust that you'll be looked after. And I can guarantee life with life will sort you out. Life will take care of you. It's just, it's within our nature. It's within our nature to be looked after. Like, we're all part of a collective. You ever see a tree get treated harshly by life? It's just taken care of. We're the exact same. Life is working in our favor and the universe has our back. Right? The other thing. So when you shift your energy, right, you create, like, ripples. And oftentimes when you go through, like, big experiences or moments where you have big level level ups, I call them level ups, sometimes, like to use the metaphor, that life's a game and you go through different stages or levels within that game. And when you go through a level up, oftentimes these level ups create massive ripples in, like, your energy. And it affects things around you, affects the way you show up, it affects the way you think, the way that you feel. And to have these big ripple level ups, you really have to acknowledge that there's an element of discomfort that comes into that, you know. And know that when you step beyond, you know, an old part of you that's stuck in one ripple, there's one free. It's like a frequency of vibrations, like a ripple. And you move up into the next, the next wave, and it's like a stronger vibration. You've got more energy flowing through. To get to that next wave is going to require an element of discomfort, an element of uncertainty, element of fear that you're going to need to move beyond. And if you can acknowledge that, okay, there is going to be a bit of resistance here for this, this next level up, but you can continue to realize that beyond that fear is a new year. Beyond that fear is a new life, is a new energy, is a new frequency. Once you start to hone in that courage of knowing this is the next step in my journey, you can start to identify where these level ups are about to happen. You can like pull them out. And it happened to me last couple of weeks ago. I knew there was a big level up happening. And if anyone watched my lives or some of the content or I've got a podcast coming out this week about this level up, which was around embarking on a plant medicine journey, taking 5 Meo DMT for the first time, moving into a new house, delivering a presentation during the week out here in Perth. All these things coincided at a really key moment in time because I could feel the slight anxiety, the slight fear, the slight, oh, shit, this is uncomfortable. I knew on the inside that this was one of those times where a big level up was about to happen. I was shifting into a new energy. And because I'd gone through a lot of these shifts before, I was just very aware of, okay, there's a level up that's about to happen. That's okay, let's relax and flow into this. And on the other side of it is this, this new profound state of energy that I feel like I'm able to embody. And that was from my ability to just trust the process. So regardless of where you're at in your journey now, maybe you've just come through a big level up, maybe you're about to go into a big level up. Know that the resistance, the uncertainty, the discomfort is totally normal. It's actually necessary. So if you're feeling uncertain and discomfort right now, know that you're going through a level up. Can you relax and flow into that and lean into it? So I wanted to share that one because that's an important one. Because oftentimes our mind will want to pull us back from resistance. It won't want us to face the uncertainty. So I'm always a big advocate for leaning into that, that discomfort because on the other side of it is the next wave is the next evolution. The other thing I got written down, you guys, is just, just an insight that I wanted to share with you around something that can always support your growth, something that's always going to support you in life. And it's starting conversations, start conversations all the time. And I was just reflecting on the importance of how starting conversations has completely changed my life. And I've made it a number one priority in what I do. Can I Start new conversations every single day. And this is something that, like, a lot of people shy away from. Shy away from, like, having a new conversation with someone. And like, if you're introverted, which. Which I'm naturally introverted as well, oftentimes if you lean into these new conversations, then it gets you out of your comfort zone. That's where all the opportunities are. New conversations could just be as simple as you message, message a couple of new people on social media. Using social media to start a new conversation. Getting on the lift with someone and just saying, hello, how's your day going? Talking to someone you know at the supermarket, talking to someone on the bus or public transport sounds really silly. And everyone seems. Tries to stay in their own little world. But like, a simple start, a simple. Simply starting a new conversation with someone can open the door to, like, the next stage in your journey. Exactly what I've been saying. Could open the door to the next level of your growth just by reaching out and saying, hey, what's going on, man? How's your day going? How's life? You look amazing. That looks great. What are you up to? I like what you're wearing. You know, I love your Instagram page. What have you been up to? It looks awesome. And with strangers, it can be challenging. Yeah, that is a little bit scary. But if there's someone you admire, there's someone you see online or someone you see out in public that you're like, dan, you're cool. There's something about your energy that I align with. Go up and talk to him. And it's even easier in a phone. You just fucking send a DM to someone, literally, that I've made my life about that. Just start conversations with fun and interesting people and watch what happens. It's awesome. Helps when you have a podcast as well. I got a podcast. I actually have an excuse to start conversations, people. But even if you don't, if you just think someone is cool and what they're doing is dope, drop them a dm, tell them, hey, you're killing it. I like what you're doing. Can we chat? Can we jump on a call? I want to hear more about what you're up to. And. And you never know. You never know. It's called the power of association. When you surround yourself with the people you admire or aspire to be, like, naturally you start to take on their energy and you start to embody their traits. So, like, I highly invite you guys to do it. I want to, like, reflect back. Anyone who's on Here, watching me talk about this stuff, it's just like, if you just admire anything that I'm sharing or talking about, just by listening to it, you're essentially embodying some of it. So I did that a lot on my journey was when I wanted to become a better speaker because I really struggled with speaking. You know, when I started out on this journey, I struggled, like, communicating my truth. What I would do is just surround myself with people who are really good at expressing themselves. When I was out in Toronto, like, I was just so blessed to be around such talented and really inspiring people that I'm just like, wow, I just want to hang out with you. How can I learn from you? And oftentimes, sometimes you don't even have to do anything but just being around them or listening to them, my mind would naturally take on some of the traits and elements that they embodied around their ability to express and communicate. So whatever that is for you, I invite you to think about that. What are you trying to embody more of? Is it more passion, more connection, more love, more gratitude, more confidence, more strength, more power? And now go out and look at who are people in your community or online that embody something that you admire, that you want to become more of, and how can you start to be around that more? Now, obviously, you know, if there's someone like, you want to be around Tony Robbins, you want to hang out with him, you either got to have a lot of money or you're going to be, you know him personally, but you can listen to him, you can watch videos from him. There's. There's certainly ways in which you can start to associate with what he's doing, to embody the traits that he has. So get creative with this. And books, books are a great way at it. Like YouTube. Now, there's so many ways in which you can access content from different people who are, you know, content creators, have podcasts, start to surround yourself around the information, the energy that you want to adopt, and you'll be surprised. Your subconscious will start to, like, plant these seeds, and you're going to. You're going to start to tap into it. Like, life for me is about relationships, having good relationships with. With the people you care about, but then also being able to start new ones, start new relationships. When I was living in Toronto, very, very easy to meet new people in a big city. And I want to make that fact, if you're in a big city, you're probably, you know, already connecting with new people all the time. But if you're living out, like I'm out in Perth now where it's, it's kind of less. There's less opportunities in person to go to events or meet someone new, especially because I'm working from home. But that being said, because technology now is like everyone's online, you're in a perfect opportunity to just really start to connect. If you just like found groups, found Instagram pages that you admire and you see maybe people commenting on these pages, send them the dm, send them a, like, send them a follow, say, hey, you're killing it. Love what you're doing. You'll be surprised how big your network grows and how much you actually interrelated to what other people are going through on their journey. Yeah, that's mainly IT guys, mainly what I wanted to share. And yeah, I just want to thank you for, thank you for showing up. You know, if anything else comes through, if you got any questions, feel free to, feel free to ask. But yeah, that was the main lessons. Switch up the routine. Be flexible like water. When life comes at you, just like surrender and move around the challenges. Be able to adapt to new things when they happen. That, that's a big one. The other one was the inner shifts. Another lesson was trust that when you have an inner shift or an inner breakthrough, you have a big insight. Know that life is going to reflect that back to you. It's going to reflect it back to you, but it may not happen immediately. You might have to embody some patience. Sometimes life will reflect it back to you quick. It might be a very instantaneous. You have a breakthrough, you let go of something and then all of a sudden that person messages you or that opportunity shows up. But more often than not, it might take a few days or a few weeks for life to say, here you go, here's your reward for that inner shift. So I just want to emphasize the importance of have patience when you're doing the inner work. Have patience. What you're, what you want is coming, but it's happening at the right time. We can't, we can't rush what the kind of the timeline that the universe is operating on. But we can manage to control the feelings and emotional states that we live from. So if you prioritize just showing up every single day sitting on your yoga mat or your meditation cushion or your breath work and just, just breathe. Just be. Connect with yourself. Connect with love, connect with gratitude, and you live from that place. I promise you life will take care of you. Life. Life's got you, man. Universe has got you back. It's all good. It's all good. And I've been, I've been trying to really embody that. And whenever I do, I just, like, have patience. Everything I want is coming. It always does. And it comes at the perfect time because ultimately, like, what's the rush? A lot of us are in pursuit of getting things, things, external things, but when we get them, we're like, we're not any better. We're just like, oh, okay, cool. Got more money, got that house, got the car, we got to travel. And then we're just back wanting more things. So it's great having things. Don't get me wrong, I've got a house now. It's awesome. I love living here is great. But it didn't necessarily change my internal emotional state too much because I was already living from a place of gratitude, peace, love, connection. If I was hoping or expecting that the new house was going to give me more love and excitement and creativity, then I would have been let down because I was relying on something external. I would have got this and be like, okay, I need a bigger house now. Oh, there's too much noise outside. I need somewhere different. You can see how this, like, expectation and appreciation when you, when you live from a place of appreciation instead of expectation, that's when you're good. Just appreciate everything. Be grateful for everything that you have. And life will just keep giving you more and more things to shine inward. The energy you're putting out. So what you see around you is a direct reflection of the energy that you've been able to create on the inside. And that goes back to the other lesson that I mentioned before, around the ripples. And when you, when you take on the responsibility of managing and maintaining these hot. This high energy that's inside of you, that ripple gets larger and you just become a beacon. You, you just essentially just like, you're like a frequency flow that just like life picks up on it, people pick up on it. And when you make it your number one priority, your energy, you don't have to worry. You don't have to worry about how you're going to get that job or how you're going to meet that, that dream, that dream partner. You get the money you want, it will come to you because ultimately it doesn't really matter. And that's. And that's. That was my, that was my reminder. That was my massive lesson from last week. If you watch my last week, one was in doing the TO and the plant medicine journey, where I kind of really Came face to face with a lot of, like, my fears that were down there. And coming out the other end of that was. It was like such a great reminder that all the things that I thought that mattered don't matter. All those little, like, the minutiae, the thoughts that we carry around, around the little fears that we hold on to, none of it matters. And I feel when you can surrender to that and just surrender to, like, there's something greater, far greater than what we can possibly comprehend by our minds, that's. That's governing or control, managing the flow of the universe. When we surrender to that, man, just, like, it's liberating when we surrender to that, just that larger plan. Like, for me, it takes, like, the seriousness out of life. You just. You kind of just, okay, cool, let's have some fun. What can we create? Who can I be? And if you just do it from a place of love, then you can't ever go wrong. You can't ever go wrong. Like, this is the reason why I'm sharing this stuff is because, like, I just love doing this. I said at the start, I'm going to get on here and speak, and if no one shows up, that's fine. I'll speak to myself because I just enjoy sharing this stuff. And when it's coming from love, people. People resonate. Like, people will resonate. So whatever you love to do, just, like, share that and just do it from a place of love without expecting or needing anything in return. And then that's the dynamic of just giving and receiving that life is constantly operating from. Like, I love looking at trees and how, like, trees. I got the tree out the window here. I'm just look at it, man. The trees are just like, they're just always giving. And there's no tree standing out there saying, hey, you need to give me more love and appreciation. You need to slow down and, like, appreciate me more. Trees, trees don't do that. They're just sitting there just, like, emanating their beauty and their oxygen, and they're just giving all the time, but they're just doing it from a place of love. So, like, we can embody and learn so much from just the way nature operates that we can remind ourselves that we are it, we are nature. Underneath all of it, we are nature. So, like, if nature's always giving, it's always giving from a place of love, it's never expecting anything in return. And we embody that natural trait in which we are our innate ability to just flow, to be, just to Be. Then all of a sudden, we align ourselves with an higher guidance, something that's higher. That's our play. So I would invite you to think about how can you embody the elements of nature more in your day, in your life? The way you show up. I gave the example today of, like, water flow, like water floor. Just observe how water flows. If you go down a mountain stream or you see some water flowing, it's so flexible and fluid. I mentioned this at the start of this life. How can you be more flexible and fluid? And I use trees as well. When you watch and observe a tree blowing in the wind, how flexible is it when the wind blows through it? But for a lot of us, when life throws us wind, when life throws us a challenge, we, like, tense up and get rigid. And we don't want to change. I don't do that. I'm not ready. I'm not ready to work from home. I'm not ready for this whole Covid thing. I'm not ready to not travel. We get all, like, resistant. We don't. We don't want to change. How can you observe how nature operates? Go home. Okay? Life's wanting us to do this now. This old thing that we used to do is it no longer works. Time to change it up. Can we soften and just surrender to the flow of that? So whatever that looks like for you in your life right now and whether it's a perceived negative change, can you see that perceived negative change is just life saying, hey, it's time to go this way. That way is not going to work anymore. It's time to go this way. And as a tree does and as water does when it's moving through rocks, it just, like, molds around it goes. Okay. It flows and moves the next way without resistance. And we are the exact same as human beings, we are the exact same. We have the exact same traits in which nature operates. The ability to flow, the ability to adapt, the ability to change things up without needing to resist or hold on to things that are no longer serving us. And life is just going to pull all that stuff out. It's trying to pull it out, but we block it from happening more efficiently. And we just allow life to just like, pull anything that's inside of us that's no longer serving us. Let it come through me and just allow it to guide me. Then you'll be taken care of. And ultimately you'll be guided to exactly where you need to be. And look out for signs that you're on that right path. Because life will give you signs. There's another thing I've been looking out for, just looking out for little signs in which life is showing you that you're on the right path. These signs could be just like people, opportunities that show up. If you're into numerology, you can look out for like repeating numbers or symbolism from animals or nature of life just giving you things. So, yeah, I appreciate everyone showing up on here. Yeah, if there's anything that resonate. Also the podcast. I've got a lot of cool, interesting podcast conversations coming out. One in particular this week with with Alex Waters. He was the. The guy that came with me on my my Toad Medicine journey, the five MEO Journey a couple of weeks back. We had a good chat about, you know, our experience and what came up from that. So if you want to learn more about that, check out the podcast this week that's coming out. And yeah, there's more interviews, more, more conversations. Like I said, this is the start of this live. I've just been having more conversations because I just, I enjoy connecting with people.
