Welcome to the State Shifters Podcast, a show dedicated to helping you discover your true potential through connecting the mind, body and soul. Monday Morning Live coming to you from Western Australia. What's going on? I'm excited to jump on today's live because I've got some lessons to share from a really interesting week that I've had on my side of the world. This week has been a little bit of a difficult one for me because I felt like I got set back a little bit by a bit of an illness. I felt like my energy was low this week and, you know, I've went through sort of like these cycles of energy, these cycles where, you know, over the last month and a bit I've been so motivated and inspired to want to get on and share and create and, and just, and just manifest. And then this week I went through a cycle of like, fuck, I'm just, I'm not feeling it, you know, I'm feeling out of it. I don't want to, I don't want to create, I don't want to do anything. And you know, it was this exchange of energy output. When you're giving so much energy, if you don't slow down and recharge the battery, you will start to over overdo it. And this is what happened this week. So I've titled today's Live. When you feel like giving up because there's going to be a moment in time, it's guaranteed it's going to be times in the journey of your life where you just want to throw in the towel. I sort of felt like this a few times this week is like I can't be fudged, like I can't be bothered doing the things, all these things that I've committed to. I just want to throw in the towel and give up. And that's going to happen. That's going to happen. And if you're setting big enough goals, if you're setting high enough standards for yourself, there's guaranteed going to be moments where you don't feel like living up to those high expectations you've set. Now it's in these moments where we get a massive opportunity to test the character that we've built for ourselves. Because we oftentimes it's in these moments when we want to give up, where we have the greatest opportunity to catapult into a new level, into a new level of expansion. So when you feel these, these, these, this low energy and this is what happened to me this week, I felt really low energy. And you know, no matter how much my mind tried to will me to do the things that I used to do, which was maybe it's exercise, maybe it's doing meditation, maybe it was creating content. No matter how much my mind will me to do these things, if my body didn't have the energy to do it, you know, it was, there was so much resistance there. And this is, this comes down to anything. No matter, no matter what you're doing, your body is always giving you an indicator of what it feels, what it wants to do. And this is why it's so important to take care of the body, to manage your internal energy system. Because doesn't matter how big the goals and the daily task, you said if you don't have the energy because it's the quality of the, of the output, not the quantity, the quality of the output, if you don't have the energy to execute on the things you say you're going to do, then it doesn't matter how much you do. And that, and that's, and that's the point here when, when the energy starts to get low, it's a very big sign that you need to either take a holiday, take a break, or really just, like, stop what you're doing. And in my case was literally just sleep. Literally just do nothing. I didn't want to meditate, I didn't want to exercise. I didn't want to do anything. My body just needed to rest. And it wasn't. It took me a little bit. I'm getting better at catching this. But it took me a little bit initially to just realize that that's exactly what I needed to just sleep. And I find this fascinating because, you know, like, my mind is constantly trying to, like, check in with my body to find out, okay, what do I need to give myself right now so that I can get back to my optimal capacity? Because what I'm hoping to inspire you guys to do as well is get addicted to feeling the best you possibly can. Get addicted to feeling like you're on top of the world all the time. And I've got addicted to that feeling. But what I. What I'm catching myself now is when I'm not in that state, when I'm not feeling my best, I'm really, really quick to try and figure out what it is that I need to give myself so I can bounce back. And in this case, because I'd been doing so much, my body just needed rest. And sometimes that for someone who's a high achiever, or if you're someone who likes accomplishing things, like me, that can be the hardest thing to do. To just stop what you're doing and just be like, I need to sleep in today. I need to take a break, just chill out. I don't want to coach anyone for the next few days. I'm just gonna just lay low. So there's. There's so much lessons in that because, you know, if you ever. If you observe an animal, for example, you go out into the wild or you see if you have a dog. So whenever I watch my dog, whenever he's tired, he will just stop and just start sleeping. If there's people walking around, he doesn't care. He'll just start sleeping. And he's so in tune with his body. That's. Animals are so in tune with what they need to give themselves so that they can bounce back. And when. When he's awake, he's got all this energy and he's into it, but he's not trying to pretend he has energy when he's tired. When he's tired, he sleeps. And we can learn so much from that because our bodies are working with the same intelligence that's operating in nature and animals. That intelligence is always giving us signals to either slow down when we got energy, cool, go out, let's have fun, let's create. But it's really learning to listen to that. That subtle intelligence is always, always there. So the better you can get at listening to that intelligence, the way the more effective you're gonna be in whatever it is that you're doing. So for me, listening to that intelligence means spending more time in my body with myself. So when I'm charged up, I have enough sleep, I have enough energy, then I can be in the environments that allow me to really gather a fine coherent balance between operating from the head and from the heart, from the mind and from the body. So the practices that you can use in your day to really start to connect you back with your body is, is foundationally making sure you've always slept enough. If you haven't slept enough, then your body will be like feeling like it's below optimal. You'll know when you haven't slept enough because it'll be. You feel like you just won't have the energy. So the most important part about all of this is when you experience living in an optimal state. Meaning when you experience living in optimal energy, you'll know the times when you're not in that state. And that's what I'm inviting you to develop that self awareness around. Energetic awareness. That's, that's really the name of the game here. Energetic awareness, emotional awareness and body awareness. And that's if you can start to play at that level, that's when you can really start to attune yourself to frequencies and vibrations and when you can be in that, in that place. Because everything that you want is either coming to you from an energetic vibrational point of view or you're pulling it away based on what you're giving out your energy. So when you start to live life from an energetic level, you can speed up the rate in which you create the things you want because you're in, you're in line with what energy do I need to bring myself up to? So the reason I say that is that's going to help you understand what, when your energy is not at that vibrational point of attraction that you want it to be. At. So there's a bunch of different things that go into play here because I've made it my obsession to really understand how to keep my frequency as high as possible and to know when it's not high. What is that? What's causing me to feel a little bit off today? Or what do I need to give myself so that I can realign and recalibrate? So the first, the first one is sleep. Sleep is the most important one because sleep is your body's like, it is your body's way of recharging the battery. And this is where you know, quantity of sleep is just simply not enough. It's going to be quality of sleep. You know, when you, when you really start to dial your sleep in, you feel well rested and you only need six and a half, seven hours of sleep because you've done the right things that, that's when you can really start to optimize the machine and you feel so much better. It builds the foundation for everything that happens in your day when your sleep is dialed in and perfect. So you always start with sleep, you know, and I'm not, see how I'm not going out here saying meditate for this amount of time, do this, these exercises. It's real simple. Just get your sleep dialed in first and foremost. Because chances are if you're feeling like crap, usually it's sleep that's the one that's impacted first.
Right.
You know, if you make bad food choices, that affects your sleep. If you stay up too late, it affects your sleep. If you're drinking alcohol, it's affecting your sleep and it just becomes this like cascade effect. So to start to bounce back and feel better, always, always start with sleep. So the ways you can start to get your sleep dialed in is try to go to bed and wake up at the same time every night and every morning roughly within a one hour time block. So for me it's going to bed around 9:30, 10 o', clock, trying to wake up around 5am to 6am so once you've got that dialed in, the other one is don't eat food too late at night. If you try to eat food too late at night, that's going to affect your heart rate in slowing down and you getting that good quality sleep. So don't eat too late at night, go to bed at consistent times and really make sure you're hydrated before you go to bed. And as soon as you wake up, rehydrate because you've got eight, seven to eight hours. We're not Drinking fluid, you're not having water. So you want the body to feel like it's, it's, it's back to its best. Water is the best way to do that. You know, if we, for electromagnetic beings, water conducts electricity. You want to make sure you're hydrated all the time. So especially before bed, super important. The next thing to keep your energy high is the foods you're putting in. Like you want to make sure that you're eating the right foods throughout the day, ensuring that you, you know, what you put in is what you get out. You know you put in low frequency vibration foods, you know you're only going to get limited energy coming out. So dial your sleep in. Get the foods that you put in your body high quality and try to only have like two to three meals a day. Don't have lots of snacking throughout the day. That's going to start to drain your energy. So those are the key things. The rest, the rest is all in between stuff, you know, know the 1 percenters, you know, food, your sleep, hydration and just daily movement. These are just like foundational things that I've always been speaking about. Daily movement will vary depending on what your energy demands are. If you want to start to work out at the gym and lift heavy weights, then that's going to require a greater demand of energy. Meaning you're going to have to do more things around that, those type of workouts to support that energy output. Now most people, minimal amount of movements required, you don't need to kill yourself but like keep, just keep the body ticking over. You know, I'm always standing at my desk, I'm always doing like push ups throughout the day just to keep the body moving. And you can do yoga classes, qigong, like light movements throughout to really support the natural rhythm of your body and keeping energy moving. Now depending on how intense you want to go and you want to start to build your vessel and make it stronger than that's where I like lifting weights, that's where I like going to the gym and doing more active workouts. The stronger your body, the more capacity it has to hold energy on the inside. So sleep, diet and movement, they're the foundational points that you start with. When you start to feel like you're dropping off, your energy's dropping off and you're out of whack. Always go back to those foundational three sleep, diet, movement. Make sure they're in check if they've all fallen off, if they're not in alignment, then you're probably struggling energetically. Okay, so we get those, those in place first and foremost. Then what comes after that is all the 1 percenters. And the 1 percenters comes back to like, okay, what, what emotions am I holding on to? Are the energies that I'm holding on to that are sucking energy out of me? Emotional work. That's where you go into your meditations. That's when you go into your breathworks. That's where you can go into your coaching sessions and really start to dig in deep and find out what's draining me. Why do I feel so tired all the time? Why do I feel so miserable and jealous and upset and anxious all the time? It's something emotionally that you're holding on to. When you start to get in there and look at that stuff, you can start to free up vast amounts of energy that allows you to be more creative, more expansive, and a lot more effective. So the 1 percenters are the emotional work. The 1 percenters are really tweaking things like the diet. 1 percenters are really spending time with the people who, who are elevating your energy and really supporting you and becoming the best you. These are all the little things, and the little things, as you add them up, way up into. Into really big impacts over time. So I really just like, whenever I get on these lives, I kind of just like whatever comes through me is just coming out. So I'm just going with what's flowing. But this all started from me talking about why this last week I've really been struggling energetically to maintain the standards that I kept for myself around the outputs that I wanted to have. And it really resulted in my body getting really tired. And it wasn't until I acknowledged that I just needed to take a pause, stop, and just catch up on some sleep and rest. So I wanted to share that because it comes back to everything that we're playing out here. Everything in this game of life that we're playing at is happening energetically. And I'm inviting everyone to play life from that level, the level of energy, frequency and vibration. And at an energetic level, when you can start to tune your awareness to be in the body, to notice what energy am I holding? Moment to moment, you'll be subtly more aware of what you need to give yourself. So playing the game from an energetic level is what opens you up to way, way, way more guidance. So the better you can get an understanding your. Your body's energy system, the better you get it. Knowing you become. Yeah, this is what I need to take a break Today, I need to give this to myself today. And the better you get at knowing when the things that you want to create or manifest, they're on their way. And when you know that, energetically speaking, you're living from a place that's turning the dial on your magnet, because your body is your magnet, the energetic magnet you're putting out. When you know your magnets turned up real high, you have this element of faith and trust that starts to emerge from the way that you live, because you know everything's taken care of when you take care of your energy. Everything outside is taken care of. And it's a beautiful feeling. It's a liberating feeling. It's freeing. And I actually believe that's what we're all in pursuit of. We're in pursuit of freedom. Freedom from ourselves, freedom from external pressure. And that comes when you understand life on an energetic level, when you understand yourself, your body, your energy. So whatever. Whatever it comes down to, like, always direct your attention back inward. Attention is your energy. Direct your energy back inward and just feel into. Where am I at? Moment to moment, you know, and like I said before, get the. Get the foundations dialed in. Sleep, diet, and movement. And then you can look at the 1 percenters, which is, you know, doing the emotional work, really getting clear on what's taking energy from me and what's giving me energy. And you take that kind of life audit where you just start to assess, okay, what are my biggest energy drainers right now, and start to look at your life and see where's energy being extracted and how can you start to replace them or optimize certain areas so that you're keeping the energy system high. Because when the energy is high, things are happening, things are moving. So, guys, that's all I have for you today. I'm gonna. I'm wrapping up there. Basically, like I said at the start, if you're feeling like you're low on energy and you just want to fucking throw in the towel and. And call it quits, check in with yourself because there's something that your body's saying to you. It maybe needs a break, like. Like mine did last week. It just wanted to have a break and be like, just sleep. Just chill out for a second. Because my indicator is if I'm not having fun doing the things that I'm doing, and this goes with anything. If you're not enjoying your process, if you're not enjoying the creative process, if you're doing creative work, it should be fun. If you're not enjoying it there's a sign to just pull back for a second because you're coming up against resistance that your mind's trying to push you through. If you're trying to push through resistance with the mind, you're going to just keep hitting walls. If resistance is coming up, it's coming up in your body, and that's assigned to stop and feel or just rest and be okay. So your. Your indicator is like, am I having fun? Is there ease and flow in everything I'm doing? And if there is, cool, keep creating. If not, step back for a second. Where is the resistance coming from? So analyzing resistance, knowing where it comes from, knowing when to slow down, knowing when to speed up, that's your tools. And only you can answer those questions. I'm only directing you back into you. You are the number one person who knows how to answer all these questions, and you're your own guru. So thank you so much for joining me on the Live, guys.
