Welcome to the State Shifters Podcast, a show dedicated to helping you discover your true potential through connecting the mind, body and soul. Hey, what's going on, guys? Thank you for joining me. If you're joining me live, welcome. If you're watching the replay on this, you're listening to the podcast. It means so much having you here, making this one short and sweet. Today, what I wanted to share was just some really powerful reminders to support you in daily inspiration. And they're reminders that oftentimes when I jump in these lives, I'm sharing this stuff just as much for myself as it is for you guys. So I wanted to give you some really important reminders to support you along your journey. Because yesterday I had one of those days where I felt like nothing was flowing for me. And it was that day where, like, I had everything planned out. I wanted to take lots of action, and nothing was kind of coming through Me. And oftentimes in the past, the emotions that rise up when I notice that state where I'm feeling something I don't want to feeling is we create like resistance for me, it's like frustration. I get annoyed, I get bothered by the fact that I'm not getting as much work done as I'd like. And it's really that the lessons that I've learned throughout this is being able to step back and have a non judgmental awareness around what you feel. When you can cultivate a nonjudgmental awareness as to what you feel, you now all of a sudden have an opportunity to receive what life is trying to show you in each and every single moment. So the reminder that I give myself inspiration is that it is not on my timeline through which that I create the things that I want. The reminder that I give myself is that it is not me that's creating this life. It is something far greater than myself that's dictating the flow of energy as it moves through each of us. What we often do as humans is we judge where we're at in our journey and we wrap resistance. We wrap all these layers of emotion on top of things we don't want to feel. So the most powerful realization you can have is that the root emotion that blocks all of us from having what we want, or it blocks all of us from living a life life of freedom, expression, fun and joy is fear. So if you peel back all the layers, whenever you're in a state that you don't want to feel, think about it, right? Every single thing we want to create in our life, you know, we can have anything we want, but the things that block us, at the core of it is this emotion of fear. Okay? So if you think about that every time you feel like, ah, things aren't flowing for me, or every time you think about, I really want to start that business, I really, really want to jump on social media and share some things. I really want to start to like build something in the world. The only thing blocking you is fear, okay? And that fear just manifests in different forms. Sometimes it's in the form of anxiety, sometimes it's in the form of like self doubt and unworthiness. If you can pause for long enough and reflect on what is it that I'm afraid of? Is the most powerful question I always ask people when I coach them. What are you most afraid of right now? Because if you reflect on that question for long enough, you realize the thing that you're actually afraid of. Is usually so far in this, like, realm that it doesn't actually happen. It's not actually a possibility. If you just, like, stop peeling back the layers of your fears, you realize that the root fear is usually, I'm afraid that I'm not gonna be loved. I'm afraid that no one's gonna care about me. I'm afraid that I might be judged, and then I might not be loved, or. Or at the end of it, I'm afraid I might die. Now, if you accept the realization that if you get judged on social media, if you fail, you're not gonna die, then all of a sudden you have a sense of, like, courage that starts to emerge through you, right? The courage to know that every single fear that your mind creates, you can be your own antidote for that fear by being willing to sit with the emotions that are tied to those thoughts. Does that make sense? And I've really come to the understanding of that is oftentimes if you don't judge the emotions, if you don't buy into the story that your mind feeds you about what you're feeling, all of a sudden, the fears that are down there starts to dissipate. So can you be willing to sit with the part of you that's afraid? Can you be willing to reassure the part of you that's really scared that, hey, everything's good, everything's safe. I have a roof on my head. I have food. We are loved. Once that fear is taken care of, then you can start to develop this, like, feedback loop where every time you go to take scary action, every time you go to get uncomfortable, you can reassure that part of you that, hey, I got you. We're safe. We're gonna be okay. We're gonna feel this. And as you continue to take more and more action and you get to build a deeper connection with yourself, what happens is this part of you, see, starts to trust you a little bit more. This part of you goes, oh, okay, we've been here before. I felt this fear before. It's going to be okay. We get through it. We always get through. If you're on here listening to this, you've gotten through every single scary, uncomfortable moment in your life where you doubted things where you thought, fuck, I might not make it. You always get through. So what does that build? It builds trust. It builds resilience. And the more you can start to lean into that, because that is really a part of evolution. You stepping into that discomfort, you really expanding in a way that's gonna allow you to build More capacity to hold more of life that requires discomfort, that requires you following the fear, literally following the fear. Because the fear is what's guiding you to remove all the limitations. Right? It's just limitations. So as we remove the limitations, what do we get in return? We get more life, we get more fun, we get more joy, we get more peace, we get more abundance. If you're in your life avoiding all the fears because you don't want to face them, cutting yourself off from an existence where there's so much capacity for love. Okay, so there's such simple ways in which we can do this. The simple ways in which we practice this in a day to day moment. This is the main reason why I get on here and share lives and share stuff on social media. I like, you know, sometimes a lot of the people, a lot, a lot of people, including myself in the past would get on social media and sometimes look for external validation for people to say, oh, you're doing a great job. Look how many views you have, look how many likes you have. But for me now I use, this is like a spiritual practice because I get to get on here and face my fears. I get to jump on here and share stuff. Even though I'm afraid of what people might think of me, even though I'm afraid that no one's gonna show up and listen to my stuff because I get to be with the part of me that generally doesn't want to do this, this is uncomfortable. It's scared to express, it's scared to expand. The more you can be okay, stepping into the realm of being uncomfortable and holding the part of you that's scared, saying, I got you, we're safe, this is going to be fun. Everything's going to be okay. You're allowed to feel this. You, like, build more and more capacity. So the challenge then becomes, where are you most afraid in your life? What are you most afraid of facing? What do you really not want to do? What's that thing that you're really afraid of? But you know, if you did it, you would feel really expensive. What's really scary to your mind but really expansive to your heart? Can you, if you can answer these questions, you find like the, the little like breadcrumbs that life's trying to give to you. Okay, so in each and every single moment, look at what are the things that you're leaning towards? Are you leaning towards the things that make you feel really comfortable and safe? Right. If you get up every single day and you follow this linear path, you just do the things that you did yesterday, you just follow the things, oh, that felt good for me yesterday. So I'm going to do it again today and I repeat that every single day. That's you ignoring what is calling you to expand. Every single moment, there's something that's like pulling at you. Life's trying to like give you a little guide air. Every single moment, life's trying to give you something, hey, go here, go do this. You. The body really feels like doing this today. The body really feels like on the ocean today. The body feels like meditating today. The body feels like eating this kind of food today. Can you, can you tune into that and listen to that and then notice when the mind comes out says, now we can't do that. Oh, we gotta go to our work. We're gonna job today. We're gonna have that call with that person today. Can you listen to the feeling of expansion and the feeling of contraction? Can you always follow the feeling of expansion regardless of how scary that might feel? Regardless of how scary or scared the mind might get when you say, no, I'm gonna follow what feels good in every single moment? Because the resistance, the resistance to what feels good is just your mind's fear based story. The only thing you got to be okay with is feeling whatever comes up along the way. When you step up online and you show up online, you get to face with the part of you that starts to doubt yourself and judge yourself. You get to face the part of you that thinks you're not good enough. And then you get to reassure that part of you that hey, like this isn't about what other people think. This isn't about the impact you want to have. What impact do you want to have on the world? If you want to start a big business, if you want to have a big impact, you have to be okay not being liked by everyone. Does that mean that you're not worthy of love? No. So you get to practice like if you don't, if you don't take lots of action in life, you don't get to practice building a relationship with yourself. That's really the core of it. The more action you take, the more you get to know yourself. Because then you get to see the part of you that's down there that is afraid, that is scared. You want to get access to that part. The more you're scared, the better because then that's you getting a chance to just really hold, hold yourself, to love yourself. So it's a practice like constantly, you're constantly Practicing this game. Life is one ginormous practice, you know, ultimately, your meditation is your practice. In your meditation, you're practicing loving yourself so that when you go out into the game, which is life, and shit gets thrown at you, you face things that you're scared of. You've already trained in the training ground, and you know what to do. Just love yourself, Just hold yourself. Ignore the mind when it feeds you rampant, scary thoughts. None of it is true. The only thing is true is what you feel the moment. So when you reflect on the fact that you only have a short period of time on planet Earth, right? When you reflect on that, you never actually know when your time's up. You never know when it's time to leave the game. You would start to play a big game then, right? You would start to every single day decide, how can I show up big today? How can I treat this day like it's my last day on earth? You know, if you start to think about that, what's the big goal, the big vision I want to hit? And then what are the things that I need to do every single day to move me in that direction, regardless of how scary they might seem? Because I only have one shot at being a human. As far as we know, you want to start to live it the best possible way that you can. Treat every day like it's a vacation, like it's a holiday, like what. What would you want to do? What lights you up the most? What's the most fun that you can have today? Don't fucking delay that shit, man. I'm done with, like, delaying happiness. No more of that. Like, just. Just live your best life all the freaking time by thinking about what feels good in my body today, what feels good in my being today. Like, if something you want to do, because if you feel like you want to do something that expands you and feels really good in the body, but all of a sudden you have this story, it says, I'll be kind of for that. That's a story cutting you off from feeling, a feeling of expansion that will pull you into a whole new field of energy. When you access a higher level of energy, you get to receive new information. That new information is what holds the seeds for you tuning into true abundance. That new information opens doors of possibility. That's what. That's what we got to revert. We got. We got to unravel that. Because if we listen to the fearful story of the mind that wants to keep you safe, it cuts you off from the actual true value in which you are, which is you listening to your body, you listening to that feeling of expansion. There is so much abundance and prosperity inside of us, but we just don't listen to it because we're still attached to the old fearful stories that we tell ourselves. So what feels good in my body today? What feels good in my body right now? What does my body want to do next? And when you follow that subtle feeling of expansion, when you follow your passion moment to moment to moment, you keep following that, that trail. Life is pulling you towards your abundance. Life is pulling you towards your true value, which is you living in alignment with yourself. So your true value, like that, that access to information comes through when you expand your being, when you become more of a vessel to hold life. So I want to share that because I just want to invite you guys, whoever's listening to this now or in the replay, follow that feeling. That's. This is my commitment I'm jumping on here, to, like, reaffirm to myself my own commitment that I'm making, to follow the feeling of expansion no matter where it takes me. Because whenever you do, you get access to something that's far greater than what your mind can give you. Okay, Life becomes like exponential. Life is like. It's not linear. It really is. And I'm realizing you can't just keep doing the same things every single day. Just because they felt good yesterday doesn't mean it's gonna feel good tomorrow. It's changing. You're evolving, you're changing. Change things up, your routines will change, your practices will change. But only you know what's next. We can read all the books and listen to the podcast and listen to all the things. But you know, truly, like, your body knows. Ask your body, when it comes to dieting, when it becomes to the people you want to hang out with, tune into your own navigational guidance system because it's unique to you and you have your own, your own set of values that are unique to you. And your body is constantly feeding you this information. Can you, like, tune into it and listen to it? Where does my body want to go next? What does my body want to do next? Not the mind. Like, the mind is a great tool, but we don't even. We don't need it half the time. We really want to listen to the subtle feeling of expansion moment to moment, goes in all areas. So what's going to expand me next? What's going to be my next big calling? And the more you ask yourself that question, the more you're going to get access to new levels of information. So guys, I wanted to keep it short and sweet. Thank you guys. You guys are amazing. I love you. Thank you for joining me. I'm going to be keeping these lives coming.
