And I want to tell you a little bit about these three books because audio books completely transformed my life. The minute I started using Audible and I was consuming books and information while I was driving my car, catching the bus and train to work when I used to work as an accountant, it really started to unlock things within me. So here are my three favorite Number one is Letting Go by David Hawkins. Powerful book. I've listened to it many times and it's a book I always recommend to my clients. Number two is Green Light by Matthew McConaughey. This was by far one of my favorite audiobooks. It's read by the author and Matthew McConaughey is just a legend and it was some of the best storytelling I've ever heard. Third one is Will Smith. Will's book was again, amazing storytelling and it was just so damn entertaining and full of wisdom. Now, if you are not using Audible already and you want to get a hold of one of these books for free, I've got a special trial for you. So great to be here with you. If you're watching live or on the recording. It's an honor, it's an honor to be dropping in here on this Instagram live today. It is Tuesday 13th September and I'm pumped to be jumping on it and just sharing a little life update with you. And I've got some important updates that I want to share. Like these lives are such an awesome opportunity for me to just express and communicate what I've been going through in my own journey. And hopefully that unlocks some deeper levels of clarity within you. What's up guys? Thanks for being on here. It's a beautiful Tuesday morning here in Toronto. I'm like blessed to have such an epic view out there to look at the water, the CN Tower, and I'm just really lapping it up at the moment. Every day is gratitude when you wake up to this. I wanted to speak to a few things today and then I felt at the end we'll have some time for some questions if anyone wants to ask some questions. We have time and space for that. It's rare that I have a morning to myself, so I'm just like easing into the day. I've been to a, a cycle class.
I've done some breath work, I've gone.
Out, had a marcher with my girlfriend. It's a good life out here. It's beautiful. So I wanted to talk about a few things because I had, I had a few first time experiences. I had a few experiences that I'd really been looking forward to over the weekend, especially out here in Canada. I got to return to cottage, a cottage country north of Ontario, which is a beautiful part of the world, and just spend a weekend away with some really special people and slow down, slow the pace of my life down for a little bit because things have been happening at such a rapid speed over the last couple of months and I got to try out of all like the psychedelics and drugs that I've tried in my lifetime. I surprisingly haven't tried LSD yet and I got to try LSD for the first time over the weekend and I wanted to just talk about that quickly because after I go on all my psychedelic journeys, I often will come on and share, you know, share with you guys what I experienced, you know, going back from my mushroom journeys, my five MEO DMT journeys. And you know, I think I feel now is a good place for me to open up about this because I'm witnessing since I've moved to Canada, Toronto especially this kind of uprising of microdosing, uprising of psychedelics being used in a More conscious way being used in a way to support deeper levels of healing, healing and clarity. And it's, it's really amazing for me to witness this because back in Australia we are a little bit behind in that respect. You know, I didn't come across a lot of microdosing. It was hard to find and it was really hard to find LSD actually back in Australia. So here I'm noticing it's kind of abundant, like everyone has access to it. So I felt like over the weekend was a good time for me to step into my first LSD experience. If you don't know what LSD is, it's a psychedelic similar to mushrooms, but it's a little bit more chemical than mushrooms. And what I found it to be was a really awesome way of just opening and experiencing more vibrancy in your life. And I'm now realizing that alcohol is losing its place in society. As you start to become a little bit more conscious and self aware, you realize to have fun and to be in a social setting and to appreciate nature, you want to take something that turns a dial up on your sensitivity, not turning the dial down. So I'm a big, I see the future out here, especially across the world. The future of the next five to 10 years, we're going to see a lot of mushrooms, LSD being used in a microdosing setting instead of alcohol. I'm seeing it right here. My friend Liam, who's running Neurodose, is leading the way here and it's happening out in Toronto. I'm seeing it a lot, a lot of microdosing companies starting and I can see the future, it's literally here. So no matter where you are in the world, we're about to see a lot more of psychedelics becoming available. And I'm a big advocate for it. You know, I don't feel like we. You want to become dependent on them for having a good time. But what I'm saying is using psychedelics instead of things like alcohol to turn up the dial on life instead of turning it down, that's the way forward. Because you can take LSD and have an amazing time and wake up the next day and not feel hungover, not feeling like shit, you actually feel more expanded. So that was kind of my quick recap of my weekend. And especially taking LSD for the first time was a really powerful experience and I wanted to just touch on that. And I also something that I've realized since being back out here in Canada is that you go through periods in your life where you say yes to things and periods that you say no to things. And I spoke about this on my story recently and I'm going through a period where I'm. I'm saying yes to every experience that comes in. And you will know, depending on where you're at, on your what, depending on what season you're at in your life, whether it's time to say yes or it's time to say no. And being in Canada, especially being in a big city, again, saying yes to everything is resulting in things happening really quickly in my life, things expanding more quickly. And you'll know for you if saying yes will expand you or contract you, depending on what you, what season you've just been in. Right. So the season for me was previously was a lot of saying no, a lot of going inward, a lot of solitude, a lot of time and just self reflection. And you'll come, you'll come to a point in your journey where if it's time to come out of your cave, time to come out of the time in solitude, saying yes will open you up to way more things. Saying yes could be to more social activities, saying yes to more traveling, saying yes to trying new experiences like psychedelics or something like that. Just allow your, your hot, your soul and your body to guide you in your decision making. And you'll find that, you know, you'll go through these periods of expansion and contraction. Neither one is right or wrong, you're just going through a specific phase. And this phase that I'm in is a phase of expansion. So saying yes to life out here is, is, is really allowing me to, to receive more, to open myself up to receive more. And there was a moment that I had over the weekend where know, we're having so much fun and I noticed the sun was setting and I wanted to have a moment of just slowing down to receive the fullness of the moment. And what I realized was to slow down enough in your life to actually receive the present moment fully, which is allowing the present moment in. And this is what I spoke about my story yesterday, which is a lot of us are living in this like horizontal dimension where we're, we're going to achieve things, we're looking to the future to get things done, to get things, to receive certain emotions as well. But if you slow down enough in the present moment could be through meditation, could be through being out in nature. What opens up is this like vertical dimension. And the vertical dimension is the timeless dimension where there's infinite space and time, right? And when you're not having any thoughts. When you're fully in your body and allowing this moment to come in, what happens is you access greater levels of depth inside of you. And when you can experience more depth on that dimension, it nourishes your soul in such a way that allows more energy to flow in and more energy to flow out. Does that make sense? You get where I'm going with that. So we use practices like Qigong, meditation, yoga to start to slow the mind down so that we can allow more energy to come in and then allow us to express more fully on the way out. So especially if you live in a big city, you're going to be living in a fast pace all the time, right? Can be very quickly to get swept up into the mind, looking to the future to get things done, setting your goals. But it's so important, my opinion, at least once a week to have a day where you just slow right down, slow fully down. Maybe just go sit somewhere, go watch a sunset and just, just allow that moment to fully come into your being so that you can experience this, this beautiful gift that's always there. The present moment is a gift. Every single moment. Such a, such a nourishing gift. But if we can, if we can allow it in so fully, you'll realize that it's sacred. The sacredness in the simplest little moments like the sun setting or even the sun rising, or even just the shining colors of trees and the lights. If you can give yourself a moment to just like really appreciate that, I promise you, you'll get nourishment, you'll get energy from that. And that's what I, that's what happened to me over the weekend. It was just like such a really beautiful, beautiful moment to just slow down. And especially when I've been traveling so much, it can be very quickly to be stuck on fast forward all the time.
Right?
I also wanted to remind you, this is a reminder to me as well, around why saying yes is so important in your life. Because saying yes is declaring to life that you want to live to the fullest. Whatever living to the fullest means to you. I like to consider living to the fullest meaning playing full out. Just, just play life fully. You know, you think about earning money. I don't know if you guys are all committed to making money in this life. We all are. But I like to expend my money on experiences that expand my soul. And if there's a new experience that shows up in your life and your, your mind starts to doubt whether you can Afford that experience or whether you can afford spending money at this time, check in with that part of your body. Will this experience expand me? Will this open me up to more? And remember, that's the whole point of making money. The whole point of working and making money in your life is so that you can spend it on experiences that expand you. That's what I honestly believe living life to the fullest is just choosing to live your life full out, not trying to save yourself for some later day in the future where you retire and then you have more time. No, no, like now is the time. Now is the time to live your life to the fullest. And what that equips you is when you do that is you gain more life experience, more life wisdom, more knowledge. You become a more well rounded human being when you just choose to do new things, when you choose to say yes to life. And often what I've noticed is when you, when you just act on that feeling, you know, money always tends to work itself out. Things always take care of itself. So I just wanted to remind you, no matter where you are in your life right now, are you playing full out? Are you playing your fullest life? Are you saying yes to new experiences, yes to expansion? Because that's ultimately what's gonna allow you to get to the end of your time here and be like, fuck, did I, did. I really appreciate this life that I've been given, this gift that I've been given to be a human right now. So I'm always reminding myself of that, you know, what, what does living life to the fullest mean to me right now? And how can I, how can I choose to step into that? So I wanted to share and share into that. Those are some of the main things that took from my, my beautiful weekend away here in Ontario. But now I want to talk about something quickly just in terms of relationships. I mean, sharing more content about relationships recently because I feel like it's such an important area, such an important topic, and a lot of people struggle in relationships now. I've been in a relationship for almost seven years now. It's hard to believe, but it's been a quite a wild ride. My relationship has taught me so, so much about myself, so much about what's required to actually maintain the spark in a relationship. Because that's the, that's the biggest thing that starts to deteriorate in relationships, right? Is that spark, is that polarity that a man and a woman has or two men and two women have. And there is a process that's required for each individual in a relationship to be able to maintain that. Now, this applies to you if you're single or you are in a relationship right now. It really. I'm going to speak to both. For men in relationships, men, I've realized there is a constant reflection going on because the role that a man's playing in a relationship is he is the. He is the spark. He is the lightning spark that brings a flame to the feminine. And your spark as a man is your level of presence, is the depth of your presence, is your level of embodiment. And I'm going to define what that means for a moment because I've had a few people reach out to me and ask, like, what does being present actually mean? How do you actually develop a deeper level of connection? Being present as a man is. You're going to get reflections from the females in your life around how much presence you're bringing to them. If you're not able to bring your presence to a female, she's going to start to trigger you because she's trying to call you forward into more of that. So the number one priority for anyone, especially a man in a relationship, is your degree or depth of presence. So then it becomes down to how do you actually embody that? How do you become more present? And the answer to that question really depends on the individual. And the first place I always start is what's. What is taking your presence away? And back to what I shared earlier, which is to allow the fullness of this moment to come in. To receive life fully, you have to be present with every fiber of your being. Every cell of your body must be receptive to receiving this divine energy flow that's happening right now.
Right?
So to access that, you've got to remove the things that are pulling you away from presence. Your. Your habits, that the patterns of behavior that are pulling you up in your mind are taking you out of the body and taking out of life. Because remember guys, life is happening in the body. Life is happening right now through what we feel in our senses. It's happening through the subtle sensitivity, the subtle feeling of the wind blowing on your face or the feeling of the. Of the earth beneath your feet that that's happening all in the body. So any habit or behavior that's taking you out of that is taking you out of life. And in a relationship, that's what's disconnecting you from the polarity or the spark in your relationship. So using the phone too much, using technology too much, being distracted through certain stimulus that's happening in the world, like you relying on, like nicotine or relying on outdated habits that are really not serving you. Just look at the habits that give you energy or take energy from you. They're the two ways you want to look at this. Anything that's taking energy from you is taking your, your life force from you. So if you want to become more present, start removing. Remove the things that aren't serving you in your life. Okay? I would say set up at least a minimum period of time in your day where you get to go inward and spend quality time with your body, nourish your body, and you'll find that you'll naturally start to have more energy. So when you have more energy, you have more presence.
Right?
And you'll start to see reflections from, and I'm applying this to the men right now. You're going to see reflections from the females in your life. When you start to become more present, when you start to become more attuned and, and sensitive. Sensitive. In terms of what do you feel right now? What is your partner feeling? What is, what are the females around you feeling? Can you tune into their emotional experience? Because the females are having an emotional experience that they, they're expressing or they're more tuned into the emotionality of life than we are because that's their essence. It's feminine. So to really be able to deepen your relationships, the man must deepen his relationship with his own emotions, which, with his own feminine energy. And this is the kind of the process, the work that I like to guide men into, because I've seen in my own relationship so much more depth open up through me. Going deeper within myself and learning how to hold space for my emotional experience. Not distracting or numbing, just actually going into that and be like, wow, can I be present with this overwhelming anxiety right now? Can I be present with this feeling of like, anger or jealousy that's showing up in my body? Can I allow that experience? Experience. And the more deeply you can allow your emotional experience, the more fully you can hold and allow the people in your life, your partners, your lovers, your friends, you can hold them in their experience and be like, I've got you. I'm here. It's all good. We experience feelings and emotion. That's okay. I feel that too. It's safe. It's. You deserve to have someone in your life that allows you to make, to feel safe and not judged and what you're experiencing, experiencing. And I'd look at the people around you to be like, are they Supporting me, Are they holding me or are they keeping me stuck in old ways of being, old patterns that aren't serving my expansion? So if you recognize there's some things that are out of alignment in your life, it's your responsibility to go inward and clean that up internally, but then start to set higher standards for who you allow into your life.
Right?
So there's a, there's a collective standard that you get to set energetically. What are the standards that you want to keep in terms of how you want to feel in your life?
Right.
So in essence, what I'm sharing there is, is men in relationships must take the lead. The guys must take the lead in terms of supporting themselves, but then also supporting their partner and whoever else is showing up in their life. Because the men, the man, the male is the container, is this masculine container that gets to hold all of the feelings and the expression. So the bigger your container, the more of life you can hold and more, you can see and hold your partner more deeply.
Right?
And what I'm trying to say here is if you, if you want to find the one, if you feel like you haven't attracted your, your soul mate yet into, into your life, this is such a big one, right? So if you're on here, you're seeing, I'm trying to find the one, I haven't found my partner yet. The truth is you have to firstly find yourself and discover what your, what your values are. What is this the energy? What is the thing that you want to appreciate and do more of in your life? You have to know yourself first, right? And then secondly, I would say get off dating apps. Get off dating apps and go and actually spend time in the places where you expect to meet people who are going to share the same values as you. This is, it sounds so simple, but not a lot of people do it. So like if you're trying to attract a conscious embodied lover, okay, firstly you got to be conscious in body, but then you're going to actually go to the places where they'd be hanging out. Now do you go and practice yoga? Do you go and practice spending time at saunas and ice baths where you know the people that you want to meet are going to be, are going to be there. Get yourself into environments where you're going to meet like minded individuals. I can't express that enough. It's awesome. In cities. It's a lot easier in big cities to hang out in places where you're going to attract like minded people. But you, in smaller towns, it might Be a little bit more difficult. So you're gonna have to go out and look for that. So I just wanted to share those two things on relationships quickly because that's been a theme that I've seen come up in the coaching that I've been doing and the work that I've been doing over the last couple of weeks. But, guys, I've got some space here. If there's anyone that has any questions. If you want to shoot some questions at me, happy to answer them. Appreciate having you guys on here. It's great to. It's great to chat. It's great to connect on this Tuesday. But yeah, I got some time. If anyone wants a question answered, if anyone wants to ask anything, I'm here for it. Otherwise, I'll just keep riffing off what comes through me right now. But I finding. I'm finding that the more you start to practice just keeping your energy and your vibration high, naturally life just brings you the people that you need. Life will just keep bringing you more beautiful opportunities, and you don't have to worry about how those opportunities are going to show up, you know, especially when you're trying to. If you're someone who's trying to attract new relationships into your life, just really deepen the relationship with yourself and know that you're gonna naturally start to attract amazing people. When you bring this elevated energy, right, this elevated state into your world, you're gonna attract new people. Manny, good to have you on here, brother. Just learn to unconditionally love myself. Conditions have to be met, etc for love. And I, I was definitely applying that to myself and woman. Beautiful man. Beautiful.
Yeah.
We got to learn to unconditionally love ourself. However that looks for you to unconditionally love yourself, you must unconditionally love every aspect of yourself. That can be hard for some people, right? To love the shame just as much as you love the joy, you know, to love your anxiety just as much as you love your. Your freedom. That's what true self love is. It's like loving the heaviness just as much as the lightness. Love the dark just as much as the light. It's a hard one to grasp. But once you understand that on the days where you're not feeling good, on the days where you feel like you're really struggling, that's actually where the growth is. That's where you actually get to practice self love. When times aren't going well, that's when you really get to understand your character and how well rounded you Are. That's it, bro. Forgiving yourself as well. Big one, Big one. Thank you for sharing. I am babbily 23. How do you stay consistent with strengthening my physical health and being alone and feeling lost? Well, when it comes to strengthening your physical health, like health should always be a number one priority in your life, right? Health should be a number one value. Health is always my number one value. Because without your health, you don't have anything. You know, when you, when your energy is really low and you're not taking care of your physical, emotional and mental health body, then you don't have the ability to go out and express your fullness to the world. So when you put health as a number one priority, what naturally starts to happen is you make decisions that align with your highest level of energetic, vibrancy, vitality. And then as you do that, you naturally find yourself starting to go to places that support your health. Gyms like yoga studios, saunas, massages. As you start to do that, you guess what, you're going to meet more people who share the same values as you. So prioritize your health. But I would say invest in your health. If you want to stay consistent with something, invest in it. Just put your money down in it. This is why coaching is so valuable. Because the minute you put money down on a coach and you say, hey, I'm going to invest this amount of money in me improving my life, you've actually declared energetically that I'm serious about this, this area of my life. So the things that matter, you see, you should be channeling energy into them. And the way you do that is spend your money, invest in health. Ryan Gleason, good to have you on here, bro. I miss you too, Drew. Good to have you on here, brother. I'm in a long distance relationship. I know you're not a fan of porn or electronics, but what do you think about video chatting in a sexual way?
Yeah, dude, for sure.
If I was in a long distance relationship for six months and it was a very challenging time because like you just said, you are, you are losing the physical ability to connect, connect with someone that you love. There are still ways that you can connect with someone that you love through distance, right? The dysfunction that I would find that the area that I speak about around porn and using electronics is you don't want to be using did the phone or anything digital as a way to get that get you out of your body. If you're on the phone with someone, you're staying present in your body and you're feeling them in a sexual way, then I. That's. That's nourishing. It should never be used as a way to distract, numb, or suppress what you're feeling. Think about that, okay? So you can practice self pleasure. And if it's. If it's used in a way to bring you in deeper connection with yourself without you losing yourself, right? Think about that. Every time most men, like, ejaculate or lose themselves is they go up in their head and they're overthinking and then they release, right? So just.
I would.
I would practice that. Bring more presence into your. Into your. Into your conversations. And you want to bring it more sexual. Allow yourself to explore that. Open yourself to receiving more of her love. Because think about it, right? This distance is no barrier. You can feel energetically someone's presence even through a phone or a zoom. Like we're feeling each other right now, right? So that's a challenge to you, Drew. If you can master that, man, your relationship is going to go through the roof when you guys actually come in person again. That's what happened to me and my relationship anyway. Terrence, good to have you on here, bro. I have a lot of resentments towards women due to a string of terrible exes. How do you work on forgiveness? Well, you got to work on forgiving yourself because you have a terrible string of X's, because there was something you were. You were bringing to that relationship that was creating a certain type of woman that was treating you a certain way. So it's you, right? Self responsibility here. There's something inside of you that's attracting a certain type of person. So going in there and looking at, okay, what is it? You know, what's this mirroring back to me? What's life mirroring back to me here through these breakups or through these experiences? And then how do I process and let go of the emotions that are back there and then forgive myself for what I. What I created? Because you were doing the best you could in those circumstances. So forgive yourself, bro. And a great way to do this is do a forgiveness statement. Pretty much a good way to journal about it. Just say, I forgive you myself for insert reason. I forgive myself for thinking that I deserve better when really it was just me doing the best that I could. And then you want to come up with some truth statements. The truth is insert. Insert truth. So I would say, take responsibility, bro. And then you'll find that when you process your emotional, your emotions on your end, you will start attracting a new type of person. Into your life, if that makes sense. Yeah, I'm glad that resonated.
I am.
I am Beverly 23. Health is the key. Great to have you on here. I'm in car 326. If there's any more questions, guys. I'll answer a couple more, then I'll start to wrap it up. Thanks, Drew. Great to have you. Great to have you on here, bro. I'm glad you received that. Well, couple more questions. Got time for a couple more? If you've got a question that you want to ask, shoot it in. Otherwise, my plan today is probably make.
Make.
Make some content, make some videos. I'm gonna do a little bit more journaling. I'm finding that, like, in. In the way I've set my business up right now. I have some weeks where I'm. Where I'm really busy with coaching, some weeks where I've got some time to, like, reflect and slow down, and I'm getting to really just enjoy my life. Enjoy life to the fullest. It's. It's a beautiful. When you have a business that allows you to have freedom. That was, like, my biggest dream, was my biggest value, freedom. And when I worked in the accounting world, I just felt like I had no freedom in my job. Working a 9 to 5 job just didn't resonate with me and how I wanted to live my life. So you get to decide how you want to live your life.
Right.
You're having your own experience, your own journey here. So decide what. What kind of lifestyle is going to nourish you the most? How many hours do you want to work every day? You can literally create that. Just decide it. Just declare it. This is. This is what I want to do. Thanks, Sophia. Good to have you on here. Yeah. If anyone's got one last question, shoot it at me. Final question. Could be about anything. Before I let you, I'll let you go back into your day or into your evening. Jax, how do I do what you do? It depends, bro. It depends. Like, are you saying do what I do in terms of coaching? I would say just go deep. If you love this work so much, just go so deep with your yourself that your energy naturally starts to emit a higher frequency. And then people start to get curious about, like, what are you doing? Okay, I see that your energy is really higher. How did you get like that? That's naturally how this work emerges. You have to live it so fully that you become a walking transformation that people actually feel different in your presence. People actually feel better after spending time around you just be the change you want to see in the world.
Right?
Naturally, over time people will pay you for that. People will pay you to be in proximity to experiencing what you have to offer. I am babbly. How do how to save ourselves from a lot of judgments from people and their perceptions about you is kind of hurting my self worth and self esteem. How do I ignore all that? Well, I wouldn't ignore it. If people's perceptions are affecting you and you're feeling something or a fear of judgment from someone, ask yourself what is this trying to show me right now? Is there a part of me down there that sort of believes what these, these people think about me? And the deeper you go within yourself and loving the part of you that kind of feels unworthy then or spending more time with that part of you, you'll start to, you'll start to see that you're able to have it, have a level of connection with yourself that starts to not allow other people's perceptions to come. And in my opinion, you have to actually step into the fear to practice this. Is there something you're afraid of doing? You actually got to consciously step into that fear and then practice holding and loving whatever comes up inside of you. Whether it's anxiety, whether it's shame, whatever it is that that's where you really get to love those aspects of yourself. And when you're no longer afraid of feeling anxiety and shame and guilt and you know, and self doubt, no longer afraid of that, what opens up in your world? Think about that. If you're no longer afraid of feeling those feelings, what becomes available in your world? Because that at the end of the day, that's the only thing stopping us. It's the feelings we're afraid of feeling. And everything that we want is behind what we're afraid of feeling. So step into that consciously. Just once you have the tools to be able to regulate your nervous system, then you can, you can, you know, nothing can stop you. It's just a feeling, it's just an energy, it's a sensation that's going through your body. I hope that helps. Alright guys, I'm gonna start to wrap it up there. Thank you for joining me. Appreciate you all. And for the guys that are on this call right now, the next round of the men's coaching program that I do is gonna be starting in two months. So you have an opportunity to apply for that. Click the link in my bio. It's called the Men's Embodiment Academy. I'm super pumped to be, to be doing that for the third time where I take a group of guys through an eight week journey around how to build a stronger relationship with themselves. And I may be starting a women's one soon, so stay tuned. I appreciate all of you. Thank you for being on here. Hope you have an amazing day or sleep well wherever you are in the world. Much love. I'll talk to you soon.
