Jordan Candlish walks through three phases of personal transformation: clearing blocks, building energy, and expansion. He shares how his four-month men's program, The Path, guides participants through emotional healing and nervous system health.
Hey, what's going on, my friend? It's Jordan Kanlish here. Thank you so much for joining me on the podcast. Really looking forward to sharing today's episode with you. Today I'm going to be sharing a solo episode. Now these solo episodes will consist of either an Instagram Live that I've created or a separate video that I pulled from somewhere else that I really wanted to share on the podcast so you could have the audio experience. Now, whenever I do these solo episodes, particularly the Instagram Lives, they're really just a stream of consciousness. I try not to plan them too much. I just allow whatever needs to come through me in that moment to come through. And usually the content is just what is needed for the person on the other side. And I trust that if you're here about to receive this, there's something here for you. So I'm really looking forward to sharing it with you. My one request is if you did get some value from this solo episode, please ensure that you subscribe if you haven't already so that I can keep you posted when more of these come out and share it with a friend as well if you got something useful from from this information. So again, I appreciate you so much. Thank you for being here. Thank you for taking in this, this knowledge. It says so much about you to be on this journey and I really hope you get something from today's episode. So enjoy what's going on my friend. Great to have you with me. Looking forward to having a bit of a chit chat, bit of a dialogue here on a Tuesday, Tuesday afternoon. Great to be here with you. I've got some things on my heart to share with you my beautiful friends and just wanted to give you some updates of topic today's live conversation. The three stages, the three stages of transformation and the three stages I'm going to share with you are part of the curriculum that I take men through in the Path, which is the four month men's program that I guide men through with a team of coaches. But before we get into that Life update, Life Update, I'd like to do a quick update as to what I've been up to in the last four weeks. Four to five weeks since my last Instagram Live done a retreat. In that time frame, I've traveled back to Canada. I've lived in Toronto for a few weeks. I'm now back in Mississauga. Lots of changing, lots of expansion. I really feel this time of the year. I don't know if anyone else feels this as well, but there's just a lot of, a lot of energy moving. I really feel that I just have a lot of aliveness and vitality and a lot of things I want to express and bring into the world. And it's, it's the season of reaping, you know, all the seeds that were planted, you know, earlier in the year now being reaped. You know, running a retreat was one of my goals that I set at the start of the year and then boom, ticked that off a couple of weeks ago. And I feel that this time of the year for me, especially from like July, August, September, it coincides with the summer. Externally, there's an internal summer happening for me where I'm just, there's a lot of energy, a lot of activity happening. And for me personally on my journey, I've learned not to attach to these seasons too much because in the past I would associate this, this period of time with, with success, with growth, with achievement as like, positive. But it's not, it's just neutral. It's just a phase, a period. And this, this detachment from this internal season, season has allowed me to be a lot more gentler with the transitions. And the more you start to track and become self aware and journal and reflect, you see that we go through these cycles every year, you know, and I'm tracking it over the last year. I've been traveling. I can just see where my intuition's pulling me. Even the location that I'm being pulled to is coinciding with certain seasons. So great to have you here with me folks. Thanks for joining in, thanks for dialing in. We're having a bit of a dialogue. I'm just going to share with you some of the stages of transformation as I start to outwardly reflect some of the insights that I've had in the last kind of four weeks. And hosting a retreat was a really big level up for me. It was a really big shift in how I show up in the world because I've been doing online coaching now for three, four, five years and hosting in person events was something that I was being called to step into. And after hosting my first men's retreat here in Ontario, I felt, felt that it felt so right. It felt clear to me that bringing people together in person is really the penultimate experience when it comes to this kind of work. So I just feel like just renewed sense of clarity of purpose after hosting that retreat. And big ups to all the amazing men that came out. Fifteen guys that came out and attended that retreat, it was, it was truly a magical Experience. Maybe you've seen some of the content that I shared about it, but words can't really put it into words, can't describe those, the kind of experiences and connections that can unlock when you bring people together. So whatever men are out there listening, I hope to see you at one of one of the retreats one day soon because we've just got a great group of guys that are coming into this community. And speaking of community, this, the Path is the men's program that I've created that is designed to allow men to have community. It's designed to give men the accountability, guidance and coaching that they need to achieve, to execute, to fulfill whatever it is that we're here to, to, to become or to be in this planet. I really, really believe that we come down here with a very clear mission and a purpose, spiritually speaking. Spiritually. We come with a clear mission and a purpose. And then our job is to start to rediscover what that is. What is that path? What is that path that you've come down to earth to. To walk? And when you discover what that path is, man, it lights a fire in you. It lights just a spark, a flame that starts to pull, Pull you through life. And that really is a part of the curriculum that I bring to the men that I work with is like, how do we rediscover that? How do we unlock that? And then how do you start to fan it, fan the flame so it starts to burn like a roaring inferno that just like lights up everything around you. That's really the mission and the intention behind all of this content and this work. And there's three phases to it. Three phases. Phase number one is a clearing phase. And I'm going to make time for Q and A at the end, if I have time. I have another call in 20 minutes. But if you have questions or anything that I'm sharing, please feel free to ask towards the end, and I'll do my best to get to them. But phase one is a clearing phase. Once you know that you're destined for more months, once you're aware that there's some things getting in your way right now from you having or achieving the things that you want on this earth. We must go into the internal, the energetics of clearing. What's getting in the way? The blockages usually start from an emotional energetic level. The stuff that you can't see, the stuff on the surface that we can see is the habits, the personalities, the traits, the vices, what's underneath all of that is an energetic. It's a felt sense block that's down there. And that first phase is all about how do you start to clear that? How do you clear the trauma from your past? How do you start to clear the blockage in your solar plexus that's preventing you from expressing with confidence? How do you start to clear the lack of safety that's surfacing in your lower, enabling you, not enabling you to be grounded and stable in your life? There's all of these energetic forces that are at play that usually coming from our past, that when you go and bring awareness to it, you're able to then just clear and let go of the weight. That's really all it is. It's just weight, right? The past. If you carry around the past with you in energetic form, it becomes very heavy. And that blocks you from, from being creative. It blocks you from having insight and having clarity. It blocks you from being present. So the first phase is always clearing, clearing what's getting in the way. First place to start is look at where are you just not happy with certain things in your life? What are the habits or behaviors you're not happy with because their lights, the. Is the clues to what's back there? What are the emotions that are back there that you've been avoiding and not facing? So once you move through that, that clearing phase, we then go into a building face. So phase two is building. This is where you look at what it is that I want to achieve and accomplish in this world. And what kinds of things vehicle do I need to build to be able to go and accomplish that? The vehicle is the body. Consider your body as a vehicle that's driving you through life. And how you support and maintain and upgrade your vehicle really determines the speed in which you go. I've been reflecting on this recently since being back in Canada. I was living in Mexico for five months and I'm now back in Canada. One thing that I'm really appreciating out here is, is the ability to have access to good supplements, good food, just a lot of the access to nature that I was lacking. In Mexico, you couldn't order things off Amazon or it took ages to get there. I just lacked some of my regular things that would help my vehicle stay optimally maintained. Now that I'm back in Canada, I'm supplementing correctly. My diet's on point, everything's dialed in. And I've noticed I just have way more energy, way more vitality, way more strength. So this is the vehicle, right? And when you upgrade this, all of this is health, mind, movement, fitness, and your character, how disciplined you are and how integral you are. When you upgrade those components, your vehicle is then there's then prepared to go far, right? To go big and to go far. And once that's dialed in, then we go into expansion. So phase three is expansion. So guys, so far what I'm sharing is the three stages of transformation. It's the. It's the three phases that I take men through in that men's program that I facilitate. We've gone. Phase one is clearing. Clearing the energetic blocks that are getting in the way. Phase two is building, building the vet, the vehicle or the vessel or the nervous system to be able to hold large amounts of energy, right? To feel safe containing a large amount of flow, abundance, right? Whatever that is, whatever, whatever you choose to ascribe to holding energy. And then finally, phase three is expansion, which is expression for me is expansion is like once you've unlocked a new level with inside of yourself, then that. That energy needs to come out. It needs to be expressed, needs to be brought into the world. And expression is through our creativity. Expression can be through the voice, it can be through how you move. It can be how you paint or how you, how you take pictures. Whatever your form of expression is, that is how you expand, is you just keep bringing this new energy into the world. And expansion is where you start to impact through your work. You impact through just your way of being, right? So for me, the core areas that we look to expand into as humans is our relationships. Is your relationship with your family, is your relationship with money, is your relationship with work or your creativity, like your, your, your, your vocation, your dharma, right? So when you've done this clearing phase and this building phase, then you move into the expansion phase. And that is where it's just a cycle, right? Like I said at the start of this live, where we're going through seasons, where once you expand and you create and you're, boom, you hit this new level, then what will happen is you just cycle back around and it'll be a new bunch of things you need to clear through a whole new vehicle to build and a whole new bunch of creative ideas that you want to express. So I'm sharing this with you because this is again, the phases that we go through in the men's program. For all the men who are watching this and like, are resonating, then it's time for you to step into being supported in accessing all of this. And that's the whole idea of what I'm trying to create. With the retreats that I. That I facilitate, the men's program is creating spaces where people, more specifically right now, just men. Men can step in and be guided and shown how to discover this. I've just been very fortunate and blessed in my journey that I've. Great people have been around me to share with me these things, and I've just. I've just applied them so that. That's all I'm speaking to, is that my own wisdom, things that I've applied. Who is that bond? A bond. Could you repeat number three? Number three is expansion. Is what is. What are you here to expand into? What are you here to create? What are you here to express? There's something that's on your heart. There's something that's a unique blueprint on your soul that is trying to emerge. And once you start to clear the blocks, once you start to build a body that can hold a big amount of energy, the natural byproduct is expression. Naturally. You don't even have to go looking for purpose. Purpose just emerges because you're like the. I just got. I got to do this thing. I got to express this thing. It's. It just. It just bubbles out of you. That's how I feel with content. I just. I feel so amazing. I just feel so grateful and clear and connected that I just haven't. I just can't help but to express. I can't help but want to share that with the world. And that's what. We all have that built into us. You know, when you feel amazing, you want to give, you want to give back, you want to be of service, you want to help someone else out. And oftentimes when the service aligns with something that you really love to do, that's when you get this fulfillment loop, which I'm going to speak from experience again. I've been in this fulfillment loop for the last five, six years since I quit my corporate job. And I just haven't looked back because it's just a. It's a flow. It's an ebb and a flow. It's a give and a receive, given and receive. A big block that I see a lot of men fall into is a block around receiving women as well. If you're unable to receive, you'll be giving, giving, giving, giving. But if you're not filling yourself back up, you're not getting that fulfillment piece peace, then you'll end up being dysfunctional. You're blocking nature, you're blocking that cycle and that for me a block around receiving is usually an indicator of some energetic block. So there's a clearing process that we need to go through there. Stage one right if you remember. Yes 100% bond Jane all people can benefit from this but this more specifically is what I'm sharing is what I take men through in the four month men's journey called the path that applications are now open. The first welcome call is tomorrow night. So I'm so hyped for that. Those who also Guys I got time for Q and a now so if you have questions please drop it in the chat. Happy to answer some questions. I have about 10 minutes left before I go to bounce. Nailed it. Lauren. Lauren. David. 100% you got it. Stoic. I'm I'm for sure in the clearing phase. Biggest vices include caffeine, nicotine, phone use, PMO but I have the demand of my job that I reply on rely on devices. How would I navigate? Yeah man. I feel that the caffeine, caffeine, nicotine, the stimulant dependency is so common and I've been in that loop brother. I feel that like relying on caffeine, heavy workouts, all the things so it requires a tapering off phase. You know if you know you're overstimulated because you're feeling you like you need that to get through the day. There is a tapering off that you're going to have to step into that will be very uncomfortable. My suggestion is, is and I know this is more of a strategy, an outward strategy is get a hold of a really good quality magnesium. I use bio optimizers magnesium and I and I up the dose. If I'm tapering off from stimulants you got to up the dose of magnesium and this will really help you to to power down the nervous system from that sympathetic state into that parasympathetic. So I'm talking like 5,5000 milligrams of magnesium a day. And then what you would start to do is slowly peel off the caffeine, peel off the nicotine and allow your nervous system to naturally start to recalibrate to a new level of sensitivity. That's the game here brother. If you can become more sensitive you're going to start to tune into different frequencies, different levels of information. It's all comes in the receptivity. Right. Which is, which is yin feminine right. For most of us here we're way too masculine. We're way too applies for women as well where to in the doing in the achieving in the getting and the stimulating. Right? All the juice will come in the. In the receiving again. There may be some of us on here that have been receiving way too much and we're just chilling out all day. Maybe you've got to get up and hey, have a coffee and get shit done. But for most, most of society, most of us tuning into our. Into this content, more feminine. Morgan. I'm speaking this medicine to myself. This is just a constant reverberation. I'm always telling myself this because it's so easy to just get off and be like, doo, doo, coffee, workout, create, business, create. And it's just, when's the time? Where's the space? Magic is in the space. Yeah. Yes. Luke. Good to have you here, brother. Yeah, thanks, Art sister. Thank you, brother. What are you talking about, though? Transformation. Yeah. Here for it. Man 3. I've covered the three phases of transformation, which is the three levels or pathways we go in the men's program. Clearing, building, and expanding. I won't go into them again because you have to go back and watch the start of the live. I covered them all, but it's the ingredients. The ingredients of success are there. I've seen it, I've applied it. I've had many men come through this process, hundreds at this point, men that I've coached. And the process works if you just implement it and you just acknowledge that it's very simple. There is no complicated formula to you having the things that you want in your life. It's blindingly simple. It's right in front of us all the time. Most of the time. It's what I just said. Find the space and learn to learn to welcome the space in your life. Because that's. That's where all the receptivity comes in. That's where the. You pull in the abundance from your heart. For men, we pull it into our heart and then we start to bring it into our lower energy centers because this is where our positive pole is, where we. We act from a masculine standpoint. And for women, it's the other way around. We. They pull energy in from their lower centers and they give from their heart. I mean, energetic dynamics of polarity. I went into that on another workshop that I did a couple of months ago, but I won't go too much deeper into that right now. Any more questions, lads or females? I have five minutes left before I have to jump off. Reading through these comments right now. Tips for healing the central nervous system. Yeah, Lauren. David, I. What I mentioned before, around the magnesium Thing I would crank up your magnesium dosage again. It's a really. It sounds trite because you've probably heard it a lot right now. Magnesium being a supplement, we're very deficient in. But if you can hit magnesium, ashwagandha and L Theanine and then start to taper off the stimulants, your nervous system. And I track this stuff with the oura ring, by the way. I'm not making this up. I'm tracking it through my own body and I can see what happens. Yeah. So reset the nervous system and then you're like literally looking at life from a whole new lens. You can start to sense things or feel things you couldn't before. Because we're so depleted, we're so exhausted. Yeah. So a lot of this game, guys, is like, get the nervous system right and then fix the mind. Because if you try to change your belief systems and your mindset, but your body is living from fear and fight or flight, then you're going to keep attracting shit that's going to just be scary and triggering and you're going to be unable to handle it. So we start in the body first. Like, we focus. A lot of the coaching work that I do, we always go from the body up into the mind. Always go into the clearing. Right? Phase one, clearing. Where you're holding tension, where you're holding energy, where are you suppressing your emotions? Anger, shame, grief, where that's all the stuff that's creating the nervous system havoc or disharmony. That makes sense. You guys, on my page, on my wavelength. How do you clear it? It depends, Lauren. It depends on the individual. Right? Clearing it. Like different emotions require different medicine. You get me, for example, shame. Shame. It is a medicine that. Shame is an emotion that dissolves in the medicine of light. Meaning. See it, look at it, discharge it. Shame hides. So when you do the opposite of hiding, you get into the. Into you be seen. It dissolves that emotion, which is very heavy. Emotions like grief, as you can probably know, require feeling. They require, like just purging, letting go, like. Like feeling the heaviness, crying, things like that. So it's knowing what medicine is going to bring you into that cathartic state where you can access the release. A lot of the times, the body will tell you the medicine. The body will tell you what's needed to clear it. You don't really need to go looking for the medicine. The medicine usually would just show up if you're just open and sensitive. Okay, a few more questions. Carter. Carter. Skies. Good to see you, brother. I've noticed that only. That I only physically release tears and happy moments. But I wonder where I can get the necessary release in the moments that aren't so pleasant. I'm similar to you, bro. I don't. I don't cry a whole lot. And a lot of that would come down to your nature. Some people are naturally more emotional, more watery, right? Watery in nature. You probably have more fire or more earth in your. In your. In your. In your natural proclivity, which you could use astrology to look at. So when it is time to cry, if you know you're holding on to grief, then you have to be about using tools such as music, using certain environments. For me, I know mushrooms helps me release sadness, helps me release. Cry things out. So I'll use those kinds of medicine to activate more of those felt sense of feeling the sadness. So I would just start to get more accompanied with what is your natural nature and what is the. The environment or the. The. The tools you can use to start to bring out certain emotions if you know you're holding on to them. Magnesium. Like capsules, bio optimizers, I would say. That's my favorite brand. Hydro. Highly recommend it. Yes. Nailed it. Brundi. When you're stressed, you're just like. You're just churning magnesium. You're just like depleting all your magnesium levels. So I would recommend that to everyone. Whatever magnesium you're taking times it by five. I'm not being excessive. I'm being dead serious. What's your best advice for identifying what your traumas may be? Stoic, Jake. Look at your behaviors. If you have a habit of overworking, overachieving, whatever. Whatever external behavior you're representing is an indicator of the internal trauma. Because every behavior has a mask. We're wearing certain masks that we portray to the world. But behind the mask is a part of us that's Is. Is. Is hurting, in pain, that needs love, right? So once you integrate the darkness that's back there, you can then use those masks as gifts, right? For example, the overachiever mask. The gift of it is you get a lot of shit done. You work really hard. You're very disciplined. The dark side of it is you burn yourself out. If you're not integrated, you can. You can become really, like, depleted. You can start to. Your relationships start to suffer. So I look at the surface, the personality, and then you go underneath. At the core of bro, most trauma, at the core of it is coming from shame, some sort of suppressed shame, and some Sort of reassurance and safety that the inner child needs to receive. That then is then felt in the nervous system where you can release, release the pain and the energy that's down there. Bio optimizers is the magnesium that I use. What's the dosage of the magnesium? I would say like anywhere from 3,000 to 5,000 milligrams a day, which is a lot. But if it's a good quality, broad spectrum magnesium, you'll be sweet and will really, really rectify any nervous system issues. Any useful tips for mindfulness when feeling lost? Lots of emotions be in the moment more. Yeah, I mean, it depends on what emotions are coming up, right? Depends on what kind of medicine. Again, for me, the three medicines are breath, movement, sound and expression. Right? Breath, movement, sound, expression. If you incorporate some form of that into your mindfulness in terms of emotional expression, then you're going to, you're going to release, you're going to, you're going to process, right? So if you went in doubt, breathe. When in doubt, move when in doubt, put on sound and make sounds with your, with your voice, right? Voicing, vocalizing, toning is what will get emotions to move. Guys, I'm about to wrap this up before I go. For the men on here, we are starting the path four month men's program. Tomorrow night is the first call. So if you're on here and you hate, you're, you know, you're ready to be in a support system of guys who are playing a big game in life and you want to fucking go next level, it's time. Just DM me and I can give you information or click the link in my bio. You guys are ready for it. If you tune into this stuff and you're receptive to this stuff, having a support system in your life that gives you accountability, coaching and guidance accelerates everything, speeds everything up. Trying to do things on your own, it slows things down and it can become frustrating. Right, Rachael? Probably. Last question is Rashad 29, can you speak to on the horizontal versus vertical planes? Yeah, bro. The horizontal plane is time. The horizontal plane is thought. Thought is time. Every time you have a thought, you're in the horizontal time dimension. Think about that. It is, it is a created dimension. Humans created that. We created time through thought. The vertical dimension has no time. There is just infinite time in that space, right? Where if you can go deep enough into the vertical dimension, which is right now, and you can spend enough in right now, you start to dissolve out of this reality because you realize there is infinite time and infinite space. Personally, I haven't gone that deep in meditation where I've been able to stay in that realm. But I've accessed it through meditation, I've accessed it through plant medicine. But the point being is like, you want to try and spend when you don't need to be in the horizontal dimension, try, try to exit out of it. Because that's where all aging happens, right? Aging happens in that dimension. Past, future, decaying body. But the more you can be in the vertical, the less you age, the more timeless you become, the more harmonious the body is able to. Able to self correct itself. All right, that's a deep. Some deep thoughts to finish the live today. All right, guys, thanks for being here. Gotta jump off. Go jump on another call. Hit me up dm Me spending a lot of time on the old social media these days because we're starting up the path. So I'm pretty responsive to messages right now. But that may change soon. Much love. Thank you. Thank you. I appreciate you. You're amazing. Sending you so much love and light on this journey. Keep doing what you're doing, stay strong and yeah, we'll see you guys real soon. Peace. There we have it, my friend. Thank you so much for tuning into today's episode. One last thing before you take off, I want to tell you a little bit about the path, which is a four month men's program that I facilitate. Enrollments are currently open. And if you're a man listening to this or you know, a man that may feel the call to step into a men's program and men's group, then this is the opportunity for him. And if you're tuning into my content, if you're here, you're listening to this, there's some sort of resonance through what I'm putting out. There's something that's calling you to step into this work. And I have decided that I wanted to, you know, create opportunities for men to come together to attract the right kinds of men who are willing to support each other in this journey. And what the PATH is. It's a four month men's program where we go into each of the domains, all of the domains of a man's life, his relationships, his finances, his spirituality, his health, his fitness, all the areas to help him achieve full potency. And we do this through a very specific, measurable tract program where we have structure and we have accountability and we have guidance. And essentially we meet every week, we come together, we measurably track progress in each of these areas. We have safe spaces where we can open up around other men to release the things we've been holding on to, to release the blockages that holding us back from being true, authentic, grounded warriors in this earth. And if you're here, you know the urgency, you know the need for this kind of work, especially for us men to step into this new level of leadership. So I just wanted to let you know that we're now taking enrollments for the next round. It's something that, you know, I really feel that this is my heart and soul's calling to bring this work to fellow men, to fellow brothers like yourself. So if you head over to thepathbrotherhood.com you'll be able to learn more information about the path, what it's about and how to apply. And if there's something in your soul that's resonating with what I'm sharing, then please follow that. Follow that calling. Because on the other side of it is a whole new realm of possibility, power and confidence that will just start to emit from you. It'll emanate out of you. You deserve it, my friend. You fucking deserve it. Thank you for being here. I appreciate you. And hopefully we'll see you on the inside. Take care.
