Hey, what's going on, my friend? It's Jordan Kanlish here. Thank you so much for joining me on the podcast. Really looking forward to sharing today's episode with you. Today I'm going to be sharing a solo episode. Now these solo episodes will consist of either an Instagram Live that I've created or a separate video that I pulled from somewhere else that I really wanted to share on the podcast so you could have the audio experience. Now, whenever I do these solo episodes, particularly the Instagram Lives, they're really just a stream of consciousness. I try not to plan them too much. I just allow whatever needs to come through me in that moment to come through. And usually the content is just what is needed for the person on the other side. And I trust that if you're here about to receive this, there's something here for you. So I'm really looking forward to sharing it with you. My one request is if you did get some value from this solo episode, please ensure that you subscribe if you haven't already so that I can keep you posted when more of these come out and share it with a friend as well if you got something useful from from this information. So again, I appreciate you so much. Thank you for being here. Thank you for taking in this this knowledge. It says so much about you to be on this journey and I really hope you get something from today's episode. So enjoy.
Thanks for being here. Wanted to come on and connect, share some life updates with you. As to my movements over the last few weeks slash few months, it's been a really awesome period and chapter in my life and I wanted to come on and share some of the insights and the clarity that I've had as I embark on my own journey. Just going after the things that I love. And I've titled today's live the Season of Receiving and I'm going to share with you, you know, what this season of receiving has been about for me specifically and the intention of this share as I pass on to you insights that I've had along my journey. The intention is to hopefully spark something within you that may propel you further along on your journey. So whatever, whatever it is you're here for today, I appreciate you being here, appreciate your presence. I have full faith and trust that you'll get something from this transmission this afternoon. It's this afternoon because I'm in Portugal. I'm in the Algarve right now and I arrived here a couple of days ago to complete a whirlwind three weeks of Travel. I've been from America, back out to Europe, back to America. And the reason for that is, you know, this particular season over the last couple of months has been about me pursuing and spending time with mentors, with people that I've looked up to, people that. Who have inspired me and supported me on my journey from afar, from. From online like this. And now that I've been traveling, I've had the opportunity to get in proximity to some of these mentors, and I'll give specific names as to who these mentors are because I've got to spend intimate time with them over the last few weeks. And I got to receive, I got to absorb, I got to take in information and then apply it in my own life and accumulate wisdom. And that's what I love about these platforms. That's why I love making content. It's. It's the passing on of wisdom. And you only get wisdom when you apply the information you receive. So, you know, I. Last time I probably tuned in with you guys was probably when I was in Austin. I spent two and a half months in Austin in America. Amazing place. I loved. I loved spending my time there. And then I decided that I had an opportunity. The weather in Portugal is beautiful, brother. Beautiful as always on the Algarve. I decided I had an opportunity to go and spend some time with Chris Bale, who is a mentor of mine. He's an energetic coach, a qigong teacher. He is really an energetic master, and he'd been supporting me for a long time over the last four years over Zoom, and I had the chance to go and see him in person in Boulder, Colorado. So I made a decision about a month ago to go and spend two weeks in Boulder, Colorado. So I flew out there and we arrived at like, the worst time because it was like minus 10 degrees, the worst snowstorm that had all year. So we went from the heat of Austin straight into the cold of Denver. But it was the best decision because those two weeks in Denver allowed me to receive something from my time with Kris. Now, whether you're on here and you know and you have a mentor in your life or you've yet to find a mentor, mentors just show up when you're ready to receive them, right? Mentor could be a coach, it could be a healer, it could be a teacher, could just be an elder, someone that you look up to, but a mentor is someone who's able to, you know, give you guidance on your journey, you know, and often I believe the mentorship happens on a spiritual soul level. You don't have to go looking for mentors. They'll appear when your soul is ready to receive them. And Chris, who is one of my mentors, appeared in my life when I was ready to receive the information that he was passing on. So I got to hang out with him in person in Boulder a couple of weeks ago. And pretty much all we did was we practiced qigong for a couple of hours a day. We went on some beautiful hikes in Boulder. We drunk tea in the mornings, which is a beautiful ceremonial practice if you've not seen had a tea ceremony before. It's so special and grounding. And I got to just ask questions. I got to converse with someone who I looked up to, who spiritually was a few levels evolved beyond where I am. And I feel like that is such an important path in your journey of evolution. That's what I believe we're here for, right? We're here on this earth for evolution to expand and to tune our purposes, to tune into the direction in which we are expanding. And when you feel that you're being pulled towards an individual to learn from them, there's chances are there's something that your soul needs to acquire from them to support you in that evolution. Now, the hardest part about this journey is often the mind will get in the way of you being able to listen to this pull, to be able to go in the flow or the direction of this pull in the mind. The mind is really just geared for survival. The mind is wired for safety. It wants to keep you comfortable. One of the ways it does that is it will restrict you from going in pursuit of information or expansion to protect. In one way, it protects you by not allowing you to spend money, not allowing you to take risks. So on this journey that we're all on, there, there is an element of risk, there's an element of unknown that's required when you go in pursuit of evolution. So when I went out to hang out with Chris, there was an element of unknown. I didn't know what to expect. And what I got to receive from that time was. Was a deep level of slowing down, a deep level of groundedness, a deep level of sensitivity, receptivity, which is where we. We tune into the. The inflow of energy, right? And it's an. It's a. Such an important skill to become receptive, especially as a man, because us. Us men have a tendency to get stuck in our heads a lot to be in the world of, you know, analytical thinking. But the actual wisdom that we accumulate when we become receptive is so much more, is so much more in tune with what it is that we're here to do, which is a natural flow that our body brings. So receptivity was one of the, the things that I received from being with Chris and it was just through removing a lot of the stimulation, you know, I've cut coffee out of my life. I've, you know, reduced a lot of the things my social media usage especially. But, and as you, when you do that and you remove the things that are disconnecting you from your essence and when you start to slow down, you get access to clarity. I say this a lot in a lot of my post is, is, you know, as men and women, we should be in the process of trying to clarify ourselves all the time, which is what am I here to do? Who am I here to impact? What am I here to impact? What impact am I bringing? And if we don't have clarity on what that is, we often get lost. We often stumble through life a little bit confused, not really sure of what we're doing is having meaningful impact. That's because we're not clear. Clarity requires space. And in the space you must just sit and listen. So in my time with Chris, I got to really receive a lot of clarity. And what I brought back from that is, is a way of being that I'm now incorporating into my life. A way of being that involves a few hours in the morning of just listening, drinking tea, just meditating, doing qigong, going slow, right? It's so easy to get caught up in speed and doing things quickly and very fast that will pull you out of that state of alignment, which is where all the aligned action comes from in life. Now, not too long after hanging out with Chris and I got my got to spend my time with him, which was so special out in Boulder. Big ups to all the people in Colorado, Beautiful part of the world out there. I had a booked a week long retreat with another mentor of mine, Dr. Joe Dispenser in Orlando, Florida. So I flew from Colorado out to Orlando to spend time at a week long meditation retreat with Dr. Joe Dispenser. If you don't know who he is, I highly suggest checking him out. His books have been profound. His teachings are now, you know, somewhat of a, you know, famous sensation. You could say he is. But Dr. Joe over the last five years has inspired me so much. I've been doing his meditations consistently and I got to attend his retreat along with 1500 other people. 1500 people in a room, in a ballroom Meditating, doing the work, taking in this information, this knowledge, and then applying it. It was truly special. Just being in that room alone held energy that was. That was palpable. So, you know, I had been looking forward to this event for a long time, and what it entails, or what it consists of is roughly six hours a day of meditating. You're learning, you're pulling in a lot of information around the science of spirituality, crossing that bridge between the mysticism and grounded philosophical science. And when that bridge is crossed, what you're able to do is then have a new level of understanding and meaning as to why you're showing up in your practices. Right. I'll answer questions in a sec. I see your questions there. If you guys have questions, I'll pass them on a second. I just want to transfer over to you the wisdom that I've received from being around my two mentors, Dr. Joe Dispenser and Chris Bale, over the last few weeks. But at the meditation retreat, you know, we. As we started to go inward and spend time meditating and doing it in a group, there is this group coherence effect that happens right when you have many people, a few people around you. When you meditate, it amplifies the energy that you access. But when you times that by a thousand, you can imagine that you start to access really deep states of clarity in these meditations. And that's what started to happen. So every morning we're waking up early, going to the ballroom and learning from Dr. Joe, doing the meditations. And over the few days in which we were going along that I started to notice that my mind would become. Was becoming more coherent. I started to notice that my heart was starting to become more rhythmic and its ability to tune into elevated states of emotion. And I realized that this is a big part of the game that we're playing here. A big part of the game is can you maintain coherence between mind and heart? And what that means is it's a scientific way of saying, can your mind stay focused? Can your mind be in a state of presence? Or does your mind pull you around in many different kinds of directions? You know, the practice of having your ability to keep your mind still and here and now is what starts to unlock the heart coherence, which is the coherence of the body. The coherence of the body is the magnetizing force, is the emotionality that you bring to everyday interactions. Right. When you have a coherent emotion, you start to magnetize the things that you want to you. When you have a sharp mind, you then have a very, you know, clear, you know, like, guiding principle. And what, how I see it, the analogy I like to use is your mind is like the fishing rod that you cast out into the ocean to try and catch or attract a potential catch or match to a possibility, a goal, a vision that you're trying to attract. You cast that out into the ocean of possibilities with your mind, your intellectual, your intention. And then you wheel it in, your. Wheel it in with your emotion, the coherence of your emotion. Now, emotions that are incoherence resemble feelings of gratitude, love, joy, freedom, expansion, creativity, bliss, or wonder. And when you're, when you're aligning your, your thoughts with your energy, you start to then create mystical experiences in your life. And that's what started to happen at this retreat, this Joe Dispenser retreat. Mystical things started happening, auspicious things started occurring. Things that you would say, oh, that's a funny coincidence. No, it's a synchronicity. It's essentially when you start to tap into the state consistently. Guys, for the Joe Dispenser people on here will understand this. We're trying to access, you know, when you meditate, you're trying to access a state that is beyond this 3D reality. This, this state is what he calls the quantum field or the void. Now, when we spend more time in the void, and which is the source of where we come from? The source energy. Everything but the nothing. The infinite amount of time where there's no time but actually speed. Time speeds up. It's a zone that requires you to leave your physical senses, your five senses. And when you spend time in source, which you can access through meditation, you can access it through plant medicine work. Whatever modality or route you choose to take to access source, when you spend time there, you start to drop pebbles in this, in this field of energy. And this field of energy connects all of us, right? And when you drop like intentions, when you drop things in this space, you start to leave ripples. These ripples turn into patterns that start to flow down into our physical reality. The more time you spend there, the quicker you start to see the impact of these ripples that you're creating. I hope this is making sense. Guys, I know this is, this is kind of like a bit scientific, but it's super important to understand why we're doing these practices and these modalities. So what started to happen for me, I'm starting to spend more time in this place of meditation, listening, tuning in, accessing the void. Leaving this current. This current space, leaving my body. And what I started to notice was things started showing up that were indicating, hey, you're. You're leaving a dent in the void. And when you go about your life, the main focus then is just to try to be in a state of surrender and let go of needing an outcome to happen. And through this practice, which it is a practice, and for those that don't meditate, I really suggest finding a practice that allows you to kind of tune out of your current state. And most of the time, our current state is connected to some past experience, some past emotion that's lingering inside of our body. So a big part of the work that Dr. Joe passes on is learning to cut the cord from the past, dictating our future. So a lot of our practices are all about finding presence, deepening that connection with presence, and then starting to access a new thread, a new frequency, a new dimension that aligns with a preferred future that we're trying to create. So as I started to come back from. From this retreat, I realized that while I was there, I only had, like, five days left on my American visa, and I needed to leave the Dr. Joe retreat early, sadly, because I have my retreat coming up in a couple of weeks out in Sedona. So I had to leave America, fly to Portugal, which is where I am now, and I'm just allowing my. My visa to reset. I'm allowing those extra days that I have to be conserved. And then I plan on traveling back to Sedona on November 29 for the inner King retreat, which I'm super pumped about, will be the second men's retreat that I've hosted this year with my. With my brother, Danny Gutierrez. Uh, and what I've realized over these last month, these last couple of months, which. Which has been all about going deep into embodiment, going deep into maintaining a level of presence that keeps my attention here and now and out of the thinking mind, which pulls us into past and future. When you can stay in the body, which I believe is the. The biggest game that we're playing here, how frequently can you stay in the body? And to allow life to start to dictate the direction that you're meant to flow. When you can stay in that place, you're then able to tune into different actions that you're meant to take. You know, even. Even for the prep for this retreat, we've been really listening to what needs to come through us. What is it that we're meant to pass on in these expressions in this, in this opportunity that we get to create. And I realized that for me, play is a fundamental component of how I want to live my life. And when you have clarity on those values, the things that you grew up as an inner child, that you like to express, the vehicles of expression that you prefer, then you can start to align your actions, your ability to create through those vehicles. So play is one of them. So I like to play in the realm of possibility. What can we create? How can this be fun? And when you start to act in that way, things happen spontaneously, things happen effortlessly. Life becomes a dance rather than a win, lose. And that's something that I'm really trying to bring into everything that I do now, especially when traveling, because traveling has been something I've done a lot of over the last 12 months. And traveling brings a lot of tests, a lot of challenges. You know, I had a few challenges came up recently when traveling back here. I had to do a long haul flight. It was like 24 hours to get back to Portugal from Orlando. And my mind was like, oh, like, fuck, that's so draining. Oh, like, I don't want to do that. I had a lot of resistance to going on that journey. And notice how that victim mode creeps in, right? Like sometimes when we allow that victim mindset to creep in, that's the thing that pulls us into a state of disconnection, misalignment. So the question I like to interrupt myself with when I get pulled into victim mode is like, how can I create an opportunity in this time to access something new? How can this, this opportunity be a way that I can practice, you know, expanding my soul into a new realm of the unknown? So whenever you're faced with a. Something uncomfortable, like in my case, having to travel for 20 hours, you know, getting stuck in, like, airport lines waiting, having to be like, this is so frustrating. Can you tune into that question? How can I create something in this moment? How can I tune into. How can I create a new possibility of receiving something from this experience? And in my case, in the airport scenario, I said, okay, I've got eight hours on a plane. How can I. How can I access the ability to stay fully present during these eight hours? And what would that allow me to tune into? Whether I'm 13,000ft up in the air or here on earth, here or here on the ground, the ability to stay present is what I access or opens up. The ability to access clarity of thought, clarity of understanding, inspired action. So we should be practicing the state of presence or embodiment or keeping your attention here and now all the time. All the time. Whether you're at an airport, whether you're, you're doing something at home, whether you're going for a walk. That is the ultimate practice, not just in meditation, all the time. And the more we can do that, the more we become more powerful as beings because we start to protect our energy. We start to hold it here instead of it being dispersed. You know, it's so easy to fall in the habit of being dispersive with our energy. Yeah. Like we get on our phone, we go on here, our attention's being pulled in all different kinds of places and we're just leaking, leaking power. So just assess, I'm inviting you to assess where your energy gets pulled. Where does your attention get pulled? And can you just narrow down or remove or eradicate the things that are pulling your energy away and get to the point where you start to protect your space life? You're like, like your life depends on it, because in reality, it does. The quality of your life really depends upon how much energy you can uphold in your system and your body. So when you protect and you uphold and you deepen the level of presence you get access to, then your quality of your life, your relationships, your career, your, Your income starts to be reflected by that. And there is a science, scientific element to this that Dr. Joe dispenser so beautifully shares in his retreat and he's in his books. You know, the scientific element of vibration, energy, frequency, and that matter vibrates at a certain slower, dense frequency. But when you go from matter to energy, when you start to spend more time in the place of gratitude, love, appreciation, freedom, expression, that frequency literally vibrates at a faster speed, which means you're moving, you're acting closer to source. And in the place of source, there is everything available. Everything's available in that place. So our main intention is, can we operate as close to our source as possible? Another word for source could be God. Another word for source could be love. Right. So how can you act from love more frequently? What would love do in this moment? What would love do in this situation? Right. When waiting at the airport, you travel for eight hours. What would love do? And the more I asked myself that question, the more it pulls me out of victim mentality. Victim mentality is like a little virus I've found. It's a virus that creeps in. Why does this happen to me? I can't be bothered doing this. This is so frustrating. I don't want to do this. Mind is a victim Heart is love, heart is expansion. So more we can settle the mind, Open the heart, relaxed in the heart, awaken the brain. You start to get access to a higher frequency that allows creation to happen faster. Guys, I was really looking forward to sharing this with you. It's, you know, I've had lots of things on my heart, you know, in the last couple of weeks, and it's always nourishing to come on here and share what I've been learning. Now I really feel for me, one of the things that, you know, I value the most is learning. I really feel that that's why my soul came to Earth to learn. And I feel it's important to figure out why your soul came here. Is it to learn as well? Is it to teach? I love teaching, too, so I feel like there's some of the things I love to learn and I love to teach. That's probably why I've turned into a coach, because I get to, you know, teach through coaching. I get to teach through my courses, in my retreats. But whenever I'm learning, I just feel very fulfilled and I feel in alignment with what it is that I'm here for. And the beautiful part about that is you don't need to read books to learn. I've actually realized recently that most of the learning happens through living. Most of the learning happens through living. If your heart wants to go on a retreat, if your heart wants to see a mentor, if your heart wants to invest in a program, if your heart wants to travel, you will learn way more from doing that than reading 10 books about traveling to Portugal or reading 10 books about, you know, coaching or whatever the fuck it is. Just go out there and start doing the thing that's on your heart, and that's where all the wisdom is acquired that is, is necessary for your soul to expand and evolve. So, yeah, I wanted to leave it at that. If there's anyone has any questions, shoot me some questions, I'll answer some. But I appreciate you tuning in today on this, on this fine Sunday. It's really special to be back out in Algarve. You know, I've spent four or five months here over 20, 23, and it's. It's a really peaceful place. Really, really grounding energy. I'm back at the beach. You know, a spot like, I love spending time on the beach, and it just fills me with a lot of joy to be back out here in Portugal. The people out here are really special, really kind, and it's a lot cheaper than America, so I'm saving I'm saving the pennies as well. But guys, I'm going to wrap this in a second. If anyone's got any questions, shoot them through. Otherwise I'll tune off and I'll get back into my Sunday this these are lives get posted onto my podcast as well. So if you if you want to listen to the recording I do. I've done many lives over the years, so check out my podcast. It's called State Shifters Podcast. There's heaps of recordings. I do interviews with all kinds of awesome people on the podcast as well. All right, let's see. Muhammad what what to do if you feel the world is scary, evil, unsafe place Feel knowingly will like me because of feel no one will like me because of my looks and feels evaded unsafe. Well bro Bro, the It's true. The world. The world could be unsafe and depends on where you live and where you grew up. The world is unsafe for a lot of people. But there is one place where there is. There is. There is safety. And I'm not able to speak to your current external circumstances, but I can speak to internal circumstances. If you can create internal safety, which is the ability to soothe, to hold, to love yourself no matter the time, no matter the situation, and you can allow yourself to come back to that place of calm, peace and groundedness. That to me, is the ultimate skill. That, to me is why I choose to live my life the way that I do on the precipice of the unknown. I. I rarely plan anything. I travel in different directions. I run events all over the world because I trust that no matter what happens, I've got me right, I've got me. If I get canceled online, if an event gets canceled or I missed a flight, no matter the trigger for unsafety, I know how to hold myself and come back to everything's going to be okay. And even if it's not going to be okay, that's meant to be. So I would challenge you, bro, to find an internal belief system or try to find an internal relationship with yourself where you can find safety, where you can start to love yourself so deeply that you no longer care about what people externally think or say or do towards you. Once you're able to do that, bro, you become impenetrable. No one can really touch you. No one can really influence your being because you know who you are on a deep level. So that's the key to the code to life, in my opinion, is get to know yourself in such a degree that you can show up so Confidently in yourself, authentically you. And that becomes very attractive. That becomes very attractive towards people, towards money, but it has to be discovered or cultivated from within. So I hope that helps. Brother Mohammed Daniel, you talked a lot about receiving. Is it possible that someone is blocking. How do you reckon it could happen? Is someone you, meaning someone is blocking you from receiving? I would say that only. Only you can block yourself from receiving. You know, if you're allowing someone to be in your life, that is you making that decision. And ultimately the blockages are all from within. And once you can identify where that blockage is, often it's a pattern that is playing out. And that pattern may be resulting in someone staying in your life that is looking like they're blocking you, but it's really just this pattern that you are feeding. So I would starve the pattern or identify it, look at it and see it, and then choose to make a decision that's pulling you in a new direction of possibility. And that might. That may look like people leaving your life, bro. That's a part of it. Hope that helps. Fire some more questions at me, guys. If you have questions, I'll hang around for the next five minutes. Otherwise you guys can catch the recording of this on the podcast or you can tune into my page. Really excited for the next men's retreat. Two more weeks in Sedona. It's going to be. It's going to be special. So we actually have one bed left. If you're a man listening to this and you want to join us in Sedona, send me a message. I'll let you know if there's capacity if by the time you message that it's not filled up already. I'm also playing with the idea of soon to be starting a another men's group. You know, I just realized after spending time on this journey that, you know, being in practice as a man is the most important thing. What I mean by being in practice is being in the practice of presence, being in the practice of creating coherence in your mind and your body. And I realize that can be a very challenging thing for people, especially men, because we get in the habit of doing and looking externally for. For the solutions to a lot of our problems. And I've been thinking about creating a men's group to allow men to have spaces where we can practice together. So if that's something that interests you, please send me a DM because I'd love to have you in there. It's gonna be a monthly men's group where we'll do practice together, you'll get coaching. I wanna just like create spaces where we can do embodiment work together. Because in my opinion, that that is the real work. You know, you can read about all this stuff, all the things, all the personal, personal development. But if you're not in practice of cultivating grounded, calm, vibrant energy within yourself, then you'll always be, you know, attracting circumstances that don't align with what it is that you're here to create.
There we have it, my friend. Thank you so much for tuning into today's episode. One last thing before you take off, I want to tell you a little.
Bit about the path, which is a four month men's program that I facilitate. Enrollments are currently open. And if you're a man listening to this, or you know, a man that may feel the call to step into a men's program and men's group, then this is the opportunity for him. And if you're tuning into my content, if you're here, you're listening to this, there's some sort of resonance through what I'm putting out. There's something that's calling you to step into this work. And I have decided that I wanted to, you know, create opportunities for men to come together to attract the right kinds of men who are willing to support each other in this journey and what the PATH is. It's a four month men's program where we go into each of the domains, all of the domains of a man's life, his relationships, his finances, his spirituality, his health, his fitness, all the areas to help him achieve full potency. And we do this through a very specific, measurable, tracked program where we have structure and we have accountability and we have guidance. And essentially we meet every week, we come together, we measurably track progress in each of these areas and we have safe spaces where we can open up around other men to release the things we've been holding onto, to release the blockages that holding us back from being true to authentic, grounded warriors in this earth. And if you're here, you know the urgency, you know, the need for this kind of work, especially for us men to step into this new level of leadership. So I just wanted to let you know that we're now taking enrollments for the next round. It's something that, you know, I really feel that this is my heart and soul's calling to bring this work to fellow men, to fellow brothers like yourself. So if you head on over to the PATH Brotherhood, you'll be able to learn more information about the path, what it's about and how to apply. And if there's something in your soul that's resonating with what I'm sharing, then please follow that. Follow that calling. Because on the other side of it is a whole new realm of possibility, power and confidence that will just start to emit from you. It will emanate out of you. You deserve it, my friend. You fucking deserve it. So thank you for being here. I appreciate you. And hopefully we'll see you on the inside. Take care.
