Joy D. Fanning guides you through a body-relaxation exercise, then walks you into an imagined inner library. You find a book with an answer you're seeking, examine it, and return to the present. A 15-minute journey to your own inner wisdom.

Welcome. To this guided meditation for visiting the library inside of you. My name is Joy D. Fanning, and I will be leading your meditation. To begin, find a seat or lay down. Get comfortable. When you're ready, Close your eyes. Relax your body by imagining a wave of relaxation washing over you, starting at your feet. Relax your muscles as the wave moves further up your body. Your legs are relaxed. Hips. Arms. Shoulders. Neck. Jaw. Forehead. Let's take a journey now inside yourself. Imagine a hallway. This hallway is old, ancient, and inviting. As you begin to make your way down the hallway, see a door at the end. Make your way to the door. When you are ready, open the door. You are now inside your inner library. Take a look around, noticing the colors, smells, and sights. Look for the book that holds what you are seeking. When you find it, examine it on the outside. Smell its pages. What do you see? Come back to your library, closing your book, putting it back onto the shelf. Go back through the hallway, closing the door behind you. Open your eyes, begin to move your body. Thank you for joining me in this guided meditation today. Namaste.
