A person diagnosed with a rare esophageal cancer that started in the inner wall rather than the lining. It hadn't spread, so surgery removed it. After the operation, they couldn't eat solid food for six to seven weeks and relied on tube feeding.
the cancer that I had did not spread anywhere. And it was actually a very, very rare cancer that forms in the inner wall of the esophagus versus the inner lining. And that particular cancer unfortunately had a much better outcome and prognosis than the other cancers did. So I was able to have a successful surgery for that. And, um, I had to go without eating like real solid food for, um, well over like, it was like 6 to 7 weeks. I, people say that, uh, Jesus, uh, didn't, uh, eat for 40 days. I probably had him beat by a few days by just getting tube, uh, feed in one of the tubes that they put in me and, uh, nothing else from that.
