Welcome to this guided meditation on healing your inner child. My name is Joy, and I will be leading your meditation today. Take a moment to get comfortable, either sitting or lying down. Wiggle your body, get any scratches out of the way. And let's begin. Begin to relax your body. Relax your shoulders and your jaw, your forehead. Scan your body for any tension you may be holding and release it. Let's take 3 deep breaths together, in through the nose and out through the mouth. I invite you to imagine you're in your favorite place in nature. Look at the details. Be aware of how you feel here. Is it sunny? What's the temperature? What do you smell? In this place, your inner child is wandering around having fun. Casually begin looking for them, calling out to them. As they appear, thank them for showing up today. In front of you both is a bench. And you take your inner child by the hand and lead them over to it, sitting down. Ask your inner child to show you what places on their body still hold hurt or pain. If they show you more than one, this is fine. Pick one of the places and ask your inner child to bring you to that memory. Let the memory play, becoming an observer. Now go to your inner child. Hold them, comfort them, tell them you love them. Go back to your place in nature. Back to the bench where you were sitting with your inner child. Watch them jump up happy, full of life. As you watch them play and enjoy themselves, you can come here as often as you need to, to work with your inner child, to play with them, or to do more healing work. This place is safe for you both. Bring your awareness back to your body, opening your eyes, moving your fingers. I want to thank you for joining me today on this guided journey. I am honored to be a part of your healing process. Namaste.
