In this short video, interior designer Kanika Bakshi walks through the material samples she is assembling for an upcoming client presentation. She showcases a decorative rug for the living room, the fabric selected for a sofa and ottoman, darker leather accent dining chairs, a solid‑wood slab intended for a dining‑table top, and a custom‑made base for that table. While describing each piece, she expresses excitement about the design direction and invites viewers to get a sneak‑peek of the overall design concept she will present to the client the next day.

What are you doing right now? Getting ready for my presentation tomorrow. So I'm just collecting all the samples so I can show my client. I can walk you through a little bit. So this, um, right here, it's a very pretty, um, rug that's gonna go in the living room. Um, this is the fabric for this sofa, ottoman. We also have some leather accent chairs, dining chairs. We wanted something darker. Um, this right here is a beautiful solid wood that we're gonna do dining table top out of. I'm very excited for that. And this right here is the base of the dining table. It's custom made. And if you want to come around, kind of get a sneak peek of the design, that's what we're doing.
