In this short video, interior designer Kanika Bakshi shares a personal project of turning travel postcards into framed wall art. She walks through three specific postcards— a black‑and‑white Paris scene in a clean, timeless frame, a Siena countryside image in a warm wooden frame, and a vibrant Marrakech picture in an antique black frame— explaining how each frame complements the image’s mood and color. She then suggests rotating the framed postcards seasonally or every few months to keep home décor fresh, encouraging viewers who collect souvenirs to use them as interchangeable artwork.

Hi guys, this is part 3 of what do I do with my souvenirs as I travel. This is a really fun one and I'm very excited for it because I collect a lot of postcards as I travel, like a lot of them. So I'm going to show you what I have done with a few here. Um, so this one right here is a black and white. This guy I picked up recently in Paris, uh, found this frame. I thought this is very clean, timeless frame for the black and white postcard. The second one is beautiful Siena countryside of Italy. It's also my favorite country. It goes really well with the wooden frame. And the last one is this guy. I picked up this in Marrakech, Morocco, and I love the vibrant color on this postcard, and I decided to use an antique black frame with this. I think they look really well together. So this is what you can do with postcards if you like to travel and like to pick them up like I do. And then you know what? You can change them out. So different season, few months, change these out and you have different artwork in your home.
