Hi guys, welcome to Paris Flea Market. It's an antique market. I don't know why it's called a flea market. It shouldn't be called a flea market because it's so classy here. There's actually small-scale showroom that you go into and you find your treasure.
I'm—
I feel like I'm on a treasure hunt because there's so much Ah, I have to take it all in. It's just amazing out here. I have already— I have not gone into anything, but I have just seen some stuff that I'm like, ooh, I want to take this back home. So let's go check out the flea market. On this mirror, I love it, so nice. It's like a nice jewelry box, checkerboard. This is so nice. How old is this?
18th century.
18th century. Wow, it's really nice. What's this in the middle?
It's a I don't know, I don't know.
This is probably some type of game from that time. Everything in here is entirely made by hand and assembled by hands too. So I love all the light fixtures. It's like a piece of art. Spoke to one of the salesmen. Uh, Summer's Club. They have really cool stuff. I love this take on— this coffee table is from the 1920s. Look at the bronze base, like, oh man, it's absolutely stunning. When everything is stunning, I feel like a kid in a candyland. This is so beautiful. I mean, anything with color attracts me, and you're like lost in this painting, like your imagination can go wild. Look at this. It's almost like a bouquet of flowers, but it's actually a table lamp. I love it.
So it's '50s, '60s, '70s French and Italian furniture.
Yes.
And we also present in my shop contemporary artists, like for example, this painting.
Yeah.
Which are from a French painter. This is a contemporary artist. It's Valérie Courtet, who do this kind of ceramic. But we also have this kind of table from Bertolt Müller, which are old German scooter from the '70s, '60s, 1960s. Very nice. And it's not ceramic, it's glass. It's a top, it's in glass. Oh, and with a very nice design.
Nice.
This kind of furniture, it's made by designer Raoul Clément. Raoul Clément, it was a French designer from the '60s, '70s also. We have this sculpture from Lost, which are also from the '60s. So we mixed with this, for example, this armchair, it's a German German designer from the '60s. And it's very sleek. Yes. Yes.
You—
we see the German spirit, a little strict.
Yeah.
And we also do this kind of tapestry. We are contemporary work. And in 8 samples.
In 8 samples. Yes. Okay.
Okay. And Antonine de Saint-Pierre, it's the artist. It's a woman. It's a contemporary work who do sculpture. She makes panels with iron and metal parts cut, or she do also this kind of small sculpture, stable. This one is called Eva. Eva. And—
It's beautiful.
This one is from Czechoslovakia.
I love that.
Very nice design of—
Yeah, I love that. I saw that and that's why I wanted to come in.
I bought, for example, this lamp this week.
Nice.
It's a French, French lamps from the '70s with glass.
Yeah.
And it's a retro lighted glass.
Yeah.
You have two light, one light is with the shade and another one here.
Nice.
We have this table from Angelo Mangiarotti. Which is a famous Italian designer from the '70s.
Yes.
This one gets the stamp of the editor Skipper. Italian sideboards. Console or sideboard.
Yeah, anything.
For example, this is an Italian mirror. So very simple from Fontana Arte and Maxingrants. It's a very simple but very elegant design.
Yes. So this work of art is from the 20th century. It has a cool take on it, so they kind of have like praying hands in the front and then like bird or butterfly wings. On the back. So this was the painting that drove me into the shop. Um, 19th century, and the artist is right here, Chopin. It's very nice though. I couldn't notice, but you see these two men in the back looking at her. It's very nice. I like the colors. Very beautiful woman. How old are these floors in the painting?
Non-Manier's 18th century.
It's 18th century.
From Versailles, we call this a, some different name of the, this kind of marquetry. But I think this is, I don't know the name, it is from coming from, uh, we call this Versailles.
Yeah, like this, the pattern.
Yeah, exactly, the pattern.
No, because the Airbnb we're staying in have the same flooring and they're so beautiful.
Okay.
Yeah, so I'm like, that has to— I was thinking it's 17th, 18th century, but it's 18th century. That's so beautiful.
He was in Italy, 18th century, and he is one of the 2 or 3 best 18th century French painters.
Oh wow.
You go to Versailles Museum, you go to Louvre Museum, you have from Hubert Robert. It's very important painter.
Who wouldn't want this statue in front of their home or in their garden, just greeting at you? It's very friendly, the smile of the little boy. Look at this charming writing desk. From the 19th century. Look at this knob on it, this little piece. So beautiful. This is so unique. What is this? Uh, this is a special, uh, piece. Um, it's a, a creator, a designer.
Uh, different meaning, different interpretation.
Yeah, depends It's like a representation of the Christ. And it's from the '70s. '70s. Oh, okay. Nice, nice. Yeah, this is very different. The craftsmanship is really nice. Yeah, because when I was looking at this piece, I'm like, what did they use this for? Yeah, so it's early 20th century and they— it was a collection cabinet, right? You would put your collectible in here, whether it was stones or anything else. That's so neat. I mean, look at this. Look at the wood carving here too. I'm very attracted to wood, and you know, I like this material. Yeah, it's really nice. As you can tell, it's raining, but, um, so we just filmed through one street, and that's like the oldest antique market they have here. What I would want to say, don't be afraid to go in and ask questions. Everyone is super friendly. They explain things to you so nicely. I mean, I was thinking like, I don't know what kind of vibe I'm gonna get here, but people are so nice. Everyone, all the shop owners, they're very welcoming. So please come here when you're in Paris. You guys want to see a stunning mirror that looks like it has some jewelry on? Let's go! The stunning wall panel is carved onto oak wood, solid oak wood. And it's— I feel like it belongs in Brazil, or it comes from Brazil, but it's actually made here. And look at this, this chandelier. I mean, I have no words for it. Got to be careful with these, but I love the color, everything. And then again the coffee table. I like a lot of things in this room. The coffee table, this chair, which is an awesome print and color, kind of reminds me of a baby elephant. So I would call this a baby elephant chair. So their stuff is not just stylish but also very comfortable. I love vintage furniture, anything from '30s up until '70s is right up my alley. Look at this chandelier. I mean, like, it's massive, it's drama, love it. This sideboard is made to perfection. When you come close and look at the details of the metalwork and how everything— when everything overlaps, it's just perfection. I have never seen anything like it. It's made by a French artist. It's a stunner. Once— so look at the way this opens. Like, how sleek is this? So when I close this, when you look at the edge on top where it meets, it's perfection. Like, when I say it's perfect, look at this. Right here. Okay, here's another cool cabinet. There's a pop of color inside, which is a really nice surprise. And as you come in a little bit, all the shelving inside— I love it, very unique. You guys want to see what the green cabinet looks like inside? It's a really cool piece. When you open, it's a pop of color. Another— I mean, this color is trending at the moment, but how cool is this?
Ta-da!
So this chandelier is truly one of a kind. I am gonna go up close and show you how Amazing and stunning, this piece is. Here's a very unique coffee table. This is also vintage. And look at this sideboard, it complements the coffee table. Very unique. We know this is superb quality because as I open the door, they're very heavy. I mean, quality is everywhere in this showroom. Again, nice use of colors. Love the green curved sofa. Love the chandelier. But I want to talk about this beautiful vintage artwork that they have created. It's actually tiles that, that's converted into a beautiful masterpiece. So we're on the third floor now, and this right here, I love this dining table. It's a vintage top and they made the base for it, but this was the vintage find. It's very unique. Here's another Fabulous vintage found by them. These are great floor lamps, as you can see. This is a dreamland. Walk in here, it's so cool. Look at these— Oh my God, look at this! That's like I'm on a treasure hunt and I found something. This is stunning. Like, in your powder room somewhere? I've been wandering the streets of this antique market and it's not overwhelming at all because if you love stuff like this, I mean, I felt like this is a treasure hunt and you're looking for the best item that you connect with. I bought a couple of pieces. I'll show you what I bought. But other than that, I would suggest that you go into the shops that you like first and then kind of come back to whichever one you liked. And then, you know, go into that, take your time, see what you liked, and then, you know, go and purchase whatever you want. I can't believe I haven't been here And I've been to France like 6 or 7 times, and it's my first time at this market. I think I want to come here more often and spend more time there. It's like I can keep going. It's like I said, it's a treasure hunt for me. There's so much inspiration here, and then they have lots of cool antique stuff. I hope you guys, whenever you come to Paris, you you take a day or two and come explore the market. Oh, here's what I bought. This is a 19th century, uh, piece. Basically what it was used for, they used to put coals in here and then put like a dish on top to keep your food warm back in the days. It's a really cool take. I don't know what I'm going to use it for, probably some candles or a planter. I don't know yet, but but I'm really excited. It's a really fun piece. And then I also bought— I've been wanting these for a while now, like for a very long time, and I think I found the right one. The old iron that we had centuries ago. This is again another antique item that I bought. I've been wanting these. I mean, you usually get them in the, you know, the color brass, but I love that This is all one color, and I love the metalwork and the carving on it. It's absolutely stunning. So I'm happy with these two pieces. Well, let's keep traveling and find more treasures around the world. Guys, I'm seeing you watching our channel and not subscribing, so please do that.
