In this solo travel‑design vlog, Kanika from Kanika Design tours Porto Montenegro, a waterfront development where mountains meet the sea. She showcases the upscale shopping scene, highlighting Homegrove’s twin stores and the eclectic Home Glow boutique, then moves to the A&A Interiors showroom, describing its handmade sculptures, luxury textiles, unique porcelain pieces, a locally‑crafted metal fish, a blue‑tinged marble top, a jewelry‑like wall sconce, a 1960s‑inspired sofa, and a durable pouf. Kanika then visits the Regent Hotel, noting its Venetian‑inspired architecture, Murano‑inspired dining room, glass chandeliers, chrome‑finished wall sconces, dramatic wallpaper, clever bathroom signage, a ship‑themed lounge wall art, layered bookcase styling, and the overall balance of modern artwork with traditional elements. Throughout, she reflects on how natural sunsets and Montenegro’s landscape inform her color palette and design philosophy. The video ends with travel tips (proximity to Dubrovnik), a call‑to‑action for comments and subscriptions, and a warm farewell.

Porto Montenegro is beautiful. You are in an amazing natural setting where mountains meet the sea. Oh, and the buildings are beautiful too, with pretty walkways along the water. There are amazing views everywhere you look. One of the main highlights of Porto Montenegro is its upscale shopping experience. You'll find many luxury brands and small boutique stores here, including Homegrove, which has two stores across from one another. Home Glow has a very eclectic vibe with decor items from around the world. When you walk in, you want to buy everything. Their unique decor pieces are beautifully showcased throughout the store. Each piece tells its own story of artistry and craftsmanship. Hi guys, this is Kanika from Kanika Design, and we're in Port of Montenegro today. It's a very fun place, a lot of shopping, dining experience. You're near the water, and they have a really cool showroom here which we're about to go into. It's called A&A Interiors. A&A Interiors is an eclectic shop. They have beautiful handmade sculptures, luxury textiles, and indoor-outdoor furnishings. Walking around the store, there are so many interesting pieces. These are one-of-a-kind porcelain decor items that are unique and handmade, and this metal fish sculpture is locally made by an artist in Montenegro. It's a very unique piece and one of my favorites in the store. This is a very unique marble top. It actually has some blue in it. I don't know if the camera is capturing that, but I love adding blue to every design, so it's a very cool take. I love this sconce. It's like a piece of jewelry to me. Looking closely, it looks like an earring hanging from the wall, but as a light fixture. This sofa draws inspiration from a design in the 1960s. It's not only stunning but also very comfortable. This was the one piece that got me into this showroom. You can use this guy as a pouf. Um, it's very durable but a very unique piece. In the heart of Porto Montenegro, the Regent Hotel is an elegant 5-star hotel that perfectly blends Venetian-inspired architecture with contemporary elegance. The dining room takes its inspiration from Murano, a city near Venice, Italy. You'll see beautiful glass chandeliers and modern artwork throughout. When designing spaces like these, mixing modern artwork with traditional settings creates a beautifully balanced space where elements enhance one another. The detailing on the wall sconces is amazing. I love the chrome finish on top of the mirror background. Overall, the space has a classic upscale feel to it. One-of-a-kind chandeliers are showcased throughout the hotel. This particular chandelier looks like an art piece suspended from the ceiling. The use of natural materials and form is brilliant. The surrounding wallpaper adds a dramatic touch. I love the signage for all the bathroom doors. It's a clever design which adds an elegant touch. The entrance to this small lounge space is uniquely designed. The artwork on the wall resembles a ship, perhaps the Titanic. The bookcase is beautifully styled with the mix of old books, vintage items, and modern pieces. This is a great example of having many layers of design in a single room. Which creates a welcoming and lived-in space. Throughout the hotel and its restaurants, grand and unique chandeliers add elegance and drama to each room. These masterpieces of craftsmanship serve as both functional light fixtures and stunning focal points. I love sunsets. The colors the sun creates in the sky are mesmerizing. As an interior designer, I'm fascinated by how nature creates such beautiful color palettes, turning the sky into a drawing board. These natural displays inspire so much of my design work. Montenegro, until next time. Ciao for now! Montenegro, it's a beautiful country. This is where the mountains meet the sea, and I love that personally. And guys, the most unique part is that if you're traveling to Croatia, Dubrovnik, it's couple of hours away. So please don't miss out on this country. Did you guys enjoy this episode?
