To control your Bitcoin, own three things: a hardware wallet to secure your coins offline, a full node to verify transactions yourself, and a mining setup to influence which transactions get included in blocks.
Chapters
So we're talking hardware wallets, nodes, and miners being, you know, the big three, which I would highly suggest that anybody interested in Bitcoin or maybe even has Bitcoin, I would recommend that every person has these three things for themselves, right? Because your wallet, that's your offline self-custody solution. Super secure way of storing your Bitcoin. Your node is the way to verify your own transactions. Your node is your way to verify that everything on the network is true. And then the miner, so that you can have— or not yourself, but, uh, you know, whatever transactions you deem to be valid, if you are the lucky miner that gets mine a block, then you are the one that chooses which transactions get through and which ones do not. And so I think those three things together are extremely powerful for creating a sovereign individual.
