From Ubering to Buying a Lamborghini at 26

Kevin Matthew Dana went from $80,000 in credit card debt and a 380 credit score to buying a 2024 Lamborghini Urus S at 26. He dropped out of school, failed eight businesses, spent $200,000 on coaching programs, and finally built a venture that generated millions. He says the car marks the struggle, not the money.

All right, what is going on guys? So today is the day, today is the day I take delivery for my 2024 Lamborghini Urus S. Today's the day, picking up the Lamborghini Urus today. This is going to be one of the most exciting days of my life, so super excited to pull up here. Got about 6 people, 6 of my friends coming down, and, uh, yeah, been wanting this car forever and it's crazy that it's now finally happening.
They just got over.
My boy, how you doing, brother? Nice to see you.
This guy has like 7 supercars and he didn't bring— what did you bring here?
All right, man, today's your day, bro.
He has a 720, he has a Urus, the same one. Yeah, uh, what else?
Ghost. But my honestly, my favorite car, I have 2 S-Classes. I have an S63, S560. Those are my favorite. But bro, I just brought today the Defender cuz I'm chilling. This is your fucking day, man. Super proud of you, dude. Like, this guy, man, has evolved so fucking much from the day that I met him. This is what y'all y'all need to be doing right here. Get inspiration from this guy.
Like, literally crazy, crazy.
The marketer, guys, check him out.
How old are you, bro?
26.
26. He beat me. I got my first year— I know, years as around 27 or 28. Man, you're killing it, bro. And this is only beginning for it, man. I promise you guys.
What up, San Diego? Just Ubered here from Beverly Hills, 3 hours. Gotta support my man Kevin Dana with the new Lambo. So congrats, bro.
You came straight from a podcast here.
Straight from—
this guy's the guy interviewing Tate, Cardone, anyone who's anyone. This guy's interviewed him, and now Kev's Lambo, part of the Lambo family. Enjoy. 2 years ago I was driving Uber, and now this is the 9th business. Took off, and now we're picking up a 2024 Urus S. So, uh, go ahead, let's do it. This thing's so mean, bro. Yeah, I don't know much about cars. Tell them about it, cuz I don't know too much.
Yeah, so this is a 2024 Urus S. Um, it's got the Akrapovič race exhaust.
House.
It's like a $20,000 option that, that we added to the car. It's got a full body PPF, fully, fully clear broad. It's, uh, Rosso Efesto, so it's an ad personum color. Like, this is Rosso Mars, yeah, this is Rosso Efesto.
It's $16K for the paint.
Yep, yep.
Jeez, $16K for paint. All right guys, so it's officially mine. We're driving this thing off right now. I cannot believe, like, just seeing this thing, it feels surreal that it sold. And he's the reason, this guy helped me make it happen.
All right, so I met Kevin probably like 2, 3 years ago, and he was trying a bunch of business ideas. Things would kind of work and then not work, the classic entrepreneurial journey. But Kevin never gave up, and he kept like, I'm gonna kill it, I'm gonna kill it. Like, this guy was just training his subconscious mind. And 2 years ago he's driving Uber, and now at 26, just got his first Lambo. First of many supercars to come. But it's crazy to think, man, because I knew him literally not too long ago. He was like trying to figure stuff out during the day, Ubering, and just like dreaming about it. But he put in the work, and now he's got his friends along for the journey, and he's got the car to prove it. So results came.
I know you're proud of me. Look at all the shit I prevailed. The youngest of your seeds, making sure the family eat well. I give them what they need. I vow we always be well. I told bro to change his ways. I'm praying he don't see jail to live another day. I'm praying I don't see hell. Ain't no telling what I do for my family. Just know I mean well. I know you ain't next to me. No, you ain't next to me. But I'm hoping you can see. I'm praying you can see. A million dollar curses turn to million dollar dreams. A million dollars on me, but girl, it ain't what it seems. I'm having nightmares. I'm having nightmares of my brother clutching on me. Can't see the snakes up in the grass, or will you show me? You can't trust these niggas, ain't your friends, what you told me. Man, just stay about the streets or kick it lonely. You could do whatever you wanna dream of, what you told me. I ain't understand your words back then, but that's the old me. Now look at me now. I'm walking on the stage, they waiting for me like 23,000. Too many voices in my head, just know I'm hearing you loud. I'm walking around, smile on my face, just know I'm hurting inside. Oh yeah, I'm hurting inside. So I buy diamonds on diamonds on diamonds galore. Chain after chain after chain, what's the word? But it seem to be the only thing that make me happy. I lost my soul when I lost my daddy. I know, I know. I know you proud of me. Look at all the shit I prevailed. The youngest in your seeds, making sure the family eat well. I give them what they need. How about we always be—
What's going on, guys? So today was incredible. Uh, picked up my dream car, 2024 Lamborghini Urus S, and it's incredible feeling. Uh, more so like, I want to make this video— obviously you guys have probably seen the unveiling by now, and this— we're going to clip this in at the end— but I want to tell you guys more like the story on getting here, because the cool stuff like the trophies and the watches and cars and like all that stuff's cool, but it's like if you didn't go through all the shit to get there, none of it would really matter, at least for me. And so I want to share with you guys like what it took to get to this point, because I remember watching these videos, these Lamborghini delivery videos. I remember looking all of them up and I'm just like, how the fuck is that going to be me? Like, how, how am I going to make that happen? And I didn't know, but I did know that I was going to do whatever it takes to figure it out. And guys, so I didn't go to school. I did a very untraditional route. I think as a lot of entrepreneurs do, I saw that the education system was a scam. Both my parents were actually highly educated and I saw that, you know, they didn't achieve financial freedom. And I just saw that the system isn't designed to help you achieve your dream life. Like, I saw that firsthand. Every single person around me was, you know, doctors, lawyers, accountants. They made good money, but they were basically high-paid slaves, you know? And they were working at 50 years old, still clocking in every single day to some boss. And like, I just saw that around me. I'm like, there's no way that's going to be my life. Like, I got one life. And then I saw all the rich people, and I'm like, they get to do whatever the fuck they want. And like, how, how do I get rich? And so my entire goal, girl, since I was like 14 was just this obsession of how to get rich. I read Rich Dad 4DAD for the first time, probably when I was 14. And then from there, I just kept, you know, reading and learning. And then by 18, out of high school, I made the decision, hey, I'm not going to go to school, I'm going to get into sales. So got into sales, sucked at it, eventually got good. My first year I made like no money. Second year, at 20 years old, I made my first $100K in a year. Then I went to like $180K and then $230K, and then that's when I went all into entrepreneurship and quit sales after that point. And then I started learning marketing. But all the money that I was making, I was funneling into education. I didn't do the traditional education. In like college, I invested in multi-millionaires, masterminds, and coaches. Like, I've hired— I've spent over $200,000 in coaching, which is just as much as people spend on college, but I invested it with people who were actual multi-millionaires. And I'm like, hey, you make a million dollars a month, here's 20 grand, teach me. And that's what I've done with all my money. I've always obsessed about never saving money, but just how do I increase my monthly income? How do I increase my monthly income? How do I get better skill sets so that I'm more valuable and I can make more money? So one thing I want to talk about though is like all the hard stuff, because like when I always saw these videos, you know, growing up, and like I was aspiring for it. Like, I didn't care about the cool stuff, I cared about the story behind it. Like, because I was going through a lot of shit and I wanted to hear what these other guys went through to get to the point that they're at. And that's kind of what I want to focus on, because last 6 years have been— I mean, I've gone through a shit ton to get here. And so full commitment basically since 18, I'm 26 now, um, basically gone through just about everything as you can relate to, just like finances and fucking up in every way possible. Like, I've had a 380 credit score, you know, because I had credit cards I couldn't pay for and my credit guy told me just don't pay the balances, your credit card will go down and you'll just figure it out later. Couldn't even pay the minimum, had $80K in credit card debt, 380 credit score, couldn't make the minimum payments on the credit cards. I had eviction notices a few times, had to borrow money from friends to pay rent, couldn't pay 'em back. Just like a lot of stuff that's happened. I've had negative bank accounts more times than I can even count. And I've had to Uber at night just so I could pretty much live. And I would actually Uber at night 2 years ago is the last time I Ubered. It's almost exactly 2 years ago to today is when I was Ubering. So I was Ubering at night. I was working on the business during the day. I was Ubering at night, uh, just so I could make enough money to pay for the ads. So I'd run ads like $100 a day, and I would Uber until I made $100 a day. And Ubering for me was like, that was the low— one of the lowest points. And I remember actually picking up someone that I knew in Uber, which was like the worst thing ever. That was my biggest fear at that point, is Ubering, because I wanted to be like discreet. I'm not gonna advertise that I'm fucking Ubering because I'm like the entrepreneur, right? So I was Ubering and I picked up a dude I knew, and yeah, that was a very humbling experience and just like almost ashamed of just myself and where I'm at, because I was 24. I was Ubering at 24, and I always told myself I'd be a millionaire by 24. My entire life growing up, I'm like, millionaire by 24, millionaire by 24. Here I am at 24, Ubering. With negative $80K in credit card debt, 380 credit score, no income pretty much other than like Uber. And I was like, the business was kind of working, kind of not, we were still figuring it out. And fast forward 2 years, um, been able to generate millions, got my dream car, got my dream watch, been able to like literally have complete financial freedom. I'm not financially free for life yet, that's coming soon, but it's like that changed like borderline overnight. But it took 6 years to get to this point. 8 failed businesses. This was my 9th business that took off. 8 failed businesses, a graveyard of businesses. I'll go into one of those in depth in another video, uh, every single business, the lessons learned from every single one. I'm not gonna, you know, bore you guys with that in this video. But guys, it was— oh, it was hell and back to get here. Um, I'm not gonna say I haven't enjoyed the process. Actually, when I look back today, the only reason this car is cool is because all the shit that I went through. Like, if I never went through any of the bullshit, if I was never broke, if I never could you know, had negative bank accounts and I never had all those struggles, this car would probably not mean that much. Like if I just caught the crypto pump, got rich, and I'd be like, okay, cool car, but I'd be like very unfulfilled. But I'm more proud of like, I think the coolest thing when you get stuff like this isn't necessarily— yes, it's a material object. Some people may think you're a douchebag because of it, whatever. But like for me, it's because of like what it stands for. It's like I wanted this my entire life. 2 years ago I was broke driving Uber, negative $80K in credit card debt, and in 2 years I made it happen. And it's not like I overleveraged myself. Like, I don't have a monthly payment. Like, that's the best part about it, is like, I don't have stress with it. I did it at the right time. And now my goal is, you know, I want to make sure my team can get their dream car. I want to make sure people I work with, you know, everyone I get involved with can get their dreams. Not just— it's not just about me anymore. It's a lot bigger. I honestly now— I mean, there's not really much I want else other than to just build a world-class company. So anyways, I just wanted to give you guys a backstory on a little bit of like what it took to get to this point. I'll just end with this: anyone can do this. Anyone can do what I've done. Anyone can become successful and get got their dream car. Like, anyone can do it. So if you go through the struggle, as long as you stick with it, it will actually be for something. It actually will amount to something. But if you quit, you're never going to get anything.
