If I Had to Scale his Agency from $30k/month to $100k/Month in 90 days I'd Do this

Dom's agency creates 240 reels monthly for $6K per three months. To hit $100K/month, double the price to $12K, target affluent clients with Facebook ads at $100-$150 daily spend, follow up within 10 seconds, and use GoHighLevel to nurture leads. Test 30 ads over 30 days and measure results.
Chapters
All right, so in this video we're sitting down with Dom. He has a business where he helps people basically post— I mean, just tell them what your business is because you're—
Yeah, social media content agency, pretty much, where I give you 4 to 8 reels done for you every single day. It comes out to 120 to 240 reels daily or monthly. And pretty much what we're doing is 8 to 12 seconds, good hooks, good watch time, high attention to get as much— pretty much as much attention onto your page as possible. So we're breaking down exactly ads strategy and stuff like that, pretty much, right?
Yeah, it's like clipping but different. Yeah, it's not clipping because you're dealing with people who don't have a ton of YouTube content that has like—
no, yes, I do have a couple clipping, but it's more like we are going to make, based off your niche and based off your brand, 8 to 12 seconds, high viral. We're using other proven templates in your niche and pretty much from there getting as many millions of views as we can a month to get As much eyes on your page and your brand and your business or what you're building.
Yeah, and we're starting this video a little late, so we've already been breaking down. So I'll share with you guys kind of what we found. So just to be clear, I'm like super simplistic. Uh, first thing is just the offer. So the offer is basically 240 reels a month for 3 months. So I've identified you're currently selling it, um, around $6K.
Yeah, correct.
And then I think that price is fine, and then his hard cost on it is around $1,200. So basically you give me clips, or I give you clips and footage.
Yes.
You send them, I post it. Yeah, that's correct. And we already talked about this, but the one thing is like we want to figure out for sure, higher leverage is like if you could charge $12K if you posted it.
100%.
Like, just like—
Such a simple step.
You sent me some stuff and I just haven't posted it. Not because I don't want to, just I just haven't. I have so much shit on this whiteboard and like stuff I haven't gotten to. I just have not.
So the offer becomes double as high-end then if you have someone that's—
Yeah, and you just forget.
It's such a simple tactic you could do into your strategy that just doubles the offer.
Yeah, and then it's like a lot of people make the mistake when they're selling an offer, they start, you know, one, you're gonna get price objections and they're like, oh, maybe I'm charging too much. It's like the vacuum is oftentimes filled up with the wrong information. It's like you had a few conversations and you have such low volume when you start that you have 3 conversations.
Yeah.
There's, you know, 2 out of the 3 happen to be broke and you're like, I'm charging too much. It's like, no, your messaging is wrong and you're getting broke people, so you need to fix that. Like, because that's a lot of things I see people like, I'm like, you're basically catering your offer to broke people and you, and everyone knows the worst people on earth to work with is broke people. They expect the most, they expect the most, they're nightmares. They're the people who leave bad reviews. They have nothing to lose. They'll try to sue you even though they don't really have money to. They'll try to like make a scene.
100%.
And so a lot of people like get price objections, they start catering their offer. So that's why most people like, that's why Hermosi like, it's always like go up, go up, go up.
Yeah, you have to.
With prices and just sell to rich people. So especially with an offer like this, and you don't have to sell to like super rich, just don't sell to people who are struggling and don't ever take their, don't ever even like listen to those calls as feedback. It's like you're just not who I wanna work with.
So you recommend just strictly businesses or do you think I should dive into like personal brands as well? Do you think that doing both, it's like why not? There's personal brands out there that can afford this.
Yeah, personal brands too, because personal brands are a business.
Exactly.
So like getting brand deals and stuff, personal brands are a business. So they don't have to like—
you don't have to have—
that's like, that's like even potentially phase 2 where it's like if you have someone who is getting views now but they don't have a way to monetize those views, okay, start a business. And that's like a whole nother— that's like, we call it—
you can start their business, take 50%, and there you go.
Yeah, okay. Yeah, so that would be— anyway, so on this it would be, um, Yeah, $6K is fine for now. Your hard cost is healthy and we're going ad. So I think a lot of people struggle with wondering, like they overcomplicate everything. And my approach to every single thing is super minimal. When I started Build Remote, or at the time it was called RCA, we went, we started test budget at $50 a day. Funny story, I was driving Uber at night during this time, or like a few months prior, I was like driving Uber at night to pay for ad spend. So I was like, I wanna spend $100 a day. So I'd Uber until I made $100 a day and then I'd use that for ads.
That's what I had. So no lifestyle, no luxuries, every dollar you made was ads.
Everything was ads and I'm just like, I'm on spreadsheets all day. And when I'm testing offers, I tested like 5. And so that's why the offer's number one. The offer's gonna be the number one thing that you guys need to focus on is like, what are you selling to people in exchange for money? That's the offer. And so if you guys haven't read $100 Million Offers, like you're already behind.
That's number one before you can make it.
You're already super behind. So like you need to watch that. Don't even ask questions about offers until you've read that book. Pretty much answers everything.
What about the other 2? I know he has 3, right?
Yeah, leads and stuff. And like, yeah, that's when you get into advertising, but offers is number one because that's what you sell. And so anyways, in regards to launching, so you've spent— give them an idea like what you've done on ads.
On ad spend, so I did $50 a day for 4 ads total, and those ads were one static.
$50 a day for how long?
I believe it was like 10 days. It wasn't enough because I didn't know enough.
These are DM ads?
These are DM ads. They were—
How many total conversations were created?
I mean, good ones or just ones that were just generated? Just how many conversations? I'd probably say roughly 25.
25?
Yeah.
Okay. So $400, so I just have it like $400 spent.
I did profit on it.
What'd you make on it?
So I closed 2 clients, 2 clients, but I was only doing— I didn't close them on the full $6K offer for 3 months. I just did 1-month deals for 2 people and I got $1,000 off of them each. So $2K. So $2,000 for $400 spent.
$2K made.
Yeah, so I did profit, but it wasn't optimal.
So you spent $400, made $2,000.
I shut it down, which I probably should have just lasted it longer to see how it really played out, but I shut it off completely. Just turned it off and I was like, let me change little things, maybe delete one of these ads. I'm kinda messing around with it, didn't 100% know exactly the vision.
How long ago did you shut it down?
Roughly about a week ago.
A week ago. So I was like, take a step back so I can learn. And then now we're in this conversation.
Exactly, that's why we're having this conversation pretty much.
Okay. So yeah, I mean, profitable. And here's the thing, guys, also, you guys need to start running ads ASAP 'cause it's almost like, in early stages, when you have an offer like this, it's hard to lose money. And I'll break down the math here in a second. It's genuinely hard to make money, which I just broke down with him. But anyways, getting into the ads. So what I would want anyone to test, and if you guys are watching this, you have an offer, you can get so caught up in like, what funnel should I do? Call funnel, webinar? One, definitely not webinar. Webinar is for something, if you're not making at least $100,000, $200,000 a month, don't even consider webinar. Webinar is like an advanced strategy in my opinion. And you need testimonials for a webinar to work. So when you're new, you have no testimonials, which means a webinar, No one's gonna care.
So the thing about my business model, it's kind of reversed. Like, I have a lot of testimonials, I have a lot of proof, and I have, including my own personal brand, went from 2,000 to 30K, and I've proved from probably 10 people right now. So I actually have the proof, I just don't understand the ads. So it's like, usually it's opposite, right?
Yeah.
Usually people do ads to get the proof and it gets better. I'm more like, I have all the proof in the world right now. I have over 20 creators with over 20,000 followers that I've already—
Which is how you do good business. There's a lot of people who sell something that they don't know how to do, which is why this industry is full of LARPers and losers and people who don't know how to do anything but pretend they do.
So it's a good thing that I'm— I mean, it's kind of reversed, right? So obviously most people have testimonials after they get the ads. Exactly. So I'm in a good spot. They don't have to lie. It's proven. So pretty much it's proven that it works.
Because you already know you're good at it. And a lot of people, like, they try to— they're like, what can I sell? And they sell something that they don't even know they can fill.
They're just throwing an ad out.
They don't even give a fuck.
So yeah, the proof's there. And it's now it's like, how do we scale to $100K to $500K a month? Pretty much. That's kind of where I'm at with the proof already in the pudding and I have testimonials and it's like, okay, now let's lock in on ads and then we can do something like that.
Yeah, let's get to, yeah, $100K a month's always the initial starting point. That's the first goal right now, yeah. Yeah, and then you can obviously from there you can keep it super lean or you can go the route, I mean you can decide, do you want a lifestyle business or do you wanna build it into a $100 million company? I made the decision. What is a lifestyle business? I mean a lifestyle business, you can get a business to do $100K a month where it's like mainly you, you don't really hire a team, like you're busy. Your calendar is pretty slammed, but you're doing 80%.
So it's just a higher margin.
Yeah. So you can make $80K net, right? I mean, you yeah, it just depends. Like I you know, I wanted to build 100. I still do. Like I want to build like a huge company, and so it's like I don't want that. I'm not for that. I mean, it's a lifestyle business, but at the same time, it's a lifestyle. I call it a lifestyle business, but at the same time, it actually is more work for you. It's just It's more money up front, so you have to like it's delayed gratification. It's like less money now, more money later. Hundred percent, basically. So a lot of people have to make that trade. Some people never do, and that's why they stay between like one and three million, which is fine. There's nothing wrong with that.
Like it's just like that pays the bills and that gets you at one and three million.
Yeah, it's like whatever you want. Yeah, it's like whatever you want to do. Yeah. But anyway, so ads, this is gonna depend on your situation, but there's really no excuses to do less than a hundred dollars a day. I was Ubering. To do $100 a day in ad spend. So I don't really give a fuck what anyone's, you know, excuses. You need to spend. I mean, you can spend less minimum minimum minimum for an offer like this is $50 a day.
I mean, I did do that.
But you should do a hundred.
I mean, it didn't.
Maybe I didn't test it long enough, but I definitely you should do $100 a day. And then the type of ads that we'll want him to do. So Facebook lead forms. We already kind of went over this a little bit. The reason Facebook lead forms is good is because I don't want anyone investing time, energy, and money into building funnels over. Complicating it because you don't even know what you have. Like you don't even know if people want what you have yet. And so the first thing you need to do is you need to identify do people want what I have? Which we kind of already know that, but we need the data to support it, which we kind of do, but not really because there's so little data to work with. Yeah. So that's number one. So number one is just a Facebook lead form, which all it is is an ad. You guys have probably clicked on these. Just an ad on Facebook, and then it's like name, email, phone number on Facebook. And so you never go off platform. And they've also made it better where you can do like a type form on there where you can ask like. 3, 4, maybe even more than that questions. So now you get information on them. It's like, hey, what do you do? Do you have a business? What's your age? Just so you can kind of like start to see if this is—
are you calling these people? How are you— how are you— so it books them to a call, into a meet?
Yeah. So at low scale, Speed of Leads, everything, call them within 10 seconds.
So right away, get it in, get speed. Boom.
Speed of Leads, number one in service businesses. Um, so anyways, right? Yeah. And then so— and but then some will book So there's like you get the lead and then there's like an option to book a call. Most won't, some will.
They'll just fill it out.
So it doesn't matter if they book a call or not, you call them right away.
And then book the call on the call. Yeah. Book a Google Meet.
Yeah, and it's like, hey, are you available right now? Cool, let's hop on.
Let's do it, yeah.
Like, you know, so success loves speed. So just like make sure you're fast with everything.
100%.
That's Facebook lead forms, 4 simple questions. You're gonna wanna use iClose for calendar bookings. That's what we use, that's what Promosi uses. It's just like that's the scheduler. And you can also get their financial information. You can get their credit score, you can get how much money they make. It's not 100% accurate, it's probably 80% accurate.
Tunnels the bad people out, right?
Yeah. So you do that, and then from there, basically what I was going over with him is like, let's just set some like core KPIs. So let's say your cost per lead is very like on that, like $20 to $50 cost per lead. So you're getting like 1 to 5 leads a day, or 2 to 5 leads a day. Worst case scenario, let's call it a $50 cost per lead, which is insanely high. Like, we've had cost per leads as low as like $3.
So what's like an average in, I guess, any agency? What would be like a standard average for cost per leads for—
Well, B2B and B2C are so different. So like, we're B2C, and so our cost per lead on average has— I mean, not on average, but our cost per lead has been as low as $3.
That's insane.
And the highest is like $25.
$25.
So I mean, so when I say I'm—
what should be my goal?
What should my B2B— B2B is different. So B2B is going to be more because there's less people with businesses. There's more consumers, less people with businesses, therefore it's going to be more. Um, so what should be a target goal that would be like a goal? I mean, if you're having like $15, like reasonable $15, $20 cost per leads, like that's really good. And then you just reverse engineer. So this is what I do. Everyone needs to reverse engineer your business. So, okay, you have $50 cost per lead, then you have cost per booking. So let's say that's 33% of leads book on Facebook. So then that's $150 cost per booked call, but you're still calling everyone within 10 seconds. So whether they book or not does not matter. This is just basically a point where you just say the person who books has slightly higher intent.
Yeah.
So you call all of them, you treat them all the same regardless.
Are some of them you're closing on that phone call, or is it always a second call? It's always a second call on a Google Meet.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, you get them on a Zoom. Yeah, for sure.
I mean, sometimes probably people are just down, but you still want to get them to— you have to—
well, you have to get on a call. It's just you send them a Zoom like, hey, we've got time right now, let's just do it right now, get on and close. Yeah. Um, so then, okay, cost per booking, let's say it's $150. Then you got cost per live call. Um, so you're gonna have show rate issues. Everyone has them. I'm gonna assume the worst. Everyone likes to say you should have 40-50% show rates, so let's assume you have a shit show rate and it's 25%. And I— you guys will see why I like doing Shitty metrics like this in a second. Cost per live call, $600. So now you have to spend $600 on Facebook just to get someone to talk to you. This is again conservative. Then cost per qualified live call is completely different because you could get some jackass on your call who's like irrelevant, doesn't have money, doesn't even know what the fuck's going on.
Yeah.
So cost per qualified call, let's just say it's 50%. So now you're at $1,200 on your calls. And then your acquisition costs on qualified call with a $6K price point, I think with this price, this offer should be a 50% close. So now you're at an acquisition cost of $2,400. So what does that mean? That means it costs you $2,400 to get someone to buy your $6K offer.
Mm-hmm.
We're spending $100 a day. So in order for— this is why people like, they test an ad for a week and they're like, I haven't made a sale, I don't know if I made any money. If you're spending $100 a day and this math is true, which isn't bad math by the way, you can scale this business to $100,000 a month. It's gonna take you 24 days of running ads every single day, reaching out to leads every single day for you to make a sale. When you make that sale, you're making money. Yeah, it's not like you're not making money.
People are shortening it to To the point where they don't even give themselves a chance to run the data.
Yeah, because people have such small budgets when they start out. A week will go by and they're like, fuck, I've been spending— I heard this the other day— I've been spending $25 a day and I haven't— I've been running ads for 2 weeks and I haven't had anyone purchase my thing. Yeah, you're selling a $10,000 thing. So think of how silly this is. I'm selling—
That's kind of exactly my situation in the beginning.
I'm selling a $10,000 thing. I'm spending $25 a day.
Yeah.
What is the math on that? 25 times 7. So this guy spent $175.
Hoping for a $10,000 return.
Expecting a $10,000 return, which—
Yeah, that's—
I'm not saying it's not possible, but— So actually, that's kind of what happened to me. That would be a 57x return, which is unlikely. I have had a point where we did have 52x returns.
Yeah.
We made $210K one month and we spent $10K on ads total, but then we had an e-course that was liquidating it, so we spent $4,000 in ads. We spent $4,000 and made $210K. You can get, like, 57, it's pretty unheard of. But anyways, this is just to illustrate the point. A lot of you guys who are running ads with small budgets, you guys have such a small sample size and you guys are more so looking at time than data. And you're like, a week has gone by and I haven't got anything. But it's like, you spend $25, you're spending $50 a day, $25 a day, you're selling a multi-thousand dollar thing. Let's just assume you have, like everyone should just assume that they have a 25% acquisition cost. So if you caught your $10K thing, you have 4x ROAS, you need to spend $2,500. That should just be the test.
So just have a budget of at least $3,000 to just be like, I'm willing to lose it, I most likely will get one sale at least.
Yeah, that's why when I was Ubering, I'm like, I'm willing, this is just testing money. And it's just like, it's testing. Like, I'm like Ubering, I had like maybe a few grand in my account at that time. And I'm like, my account cannot go lower. So I'm gonna Uber until I make, you know, so I can test.
So eventually, once you— so your big come up was when you found one that worked?
Yeah, then it clicked.
And you just went all in on a couple ads.
And then it clicked and I went to $50,000 my first month.
That's just you finding one ad that worked and you just scaled it? Yeah, was it one ad you remember? That was—
it was just the offer. It wasn't even the ad.
I guess the ad was shit.
Everything was shit. The landing page was shit. The ad was shit. The offer was great.
Yeah.
Um, so yeah, so when I found the offer, it clicked and it was like, hey, we'll start a remote cleaning business. We switched from, hey, if you have a cleaning business, we'll help you grow, to, hey, if you don't have a business and want to start one, you should start a remote cleaning business and we'll help you do it. That's kind of the flip. So we went from B2B to B2C.
Yeah. So my question is, so yeah, actually that situation you said $25 a day, like don't expect that, actually was one of those guys that started like that. So I only did, I did like 5 days of $25 a day, actually closed my first $1,000 client. I went cheaper for 1 month. I actually did close someone. Does that prove anything or is it just kind of like—
Yeah, it does. I mean—
Does that prove that something is there if you scale it higher dollars? I mean, I probably was beating, I was probably $100 in, 4 days in I made $1,000.
You can scale anything to $100. Just as long as— And this is what a lot of people like, you can scale a shitty offer to like, you can still scale a shitty offer to $100,000 a month. There's enough people that can, you know, a unique, like I teach blank blanket how to train ostriches.
Yeah, exactly.
You could get that to $100,000, but there's enough, like it's really crazy.
If you have a good offer, it's really easy to do it.
There's just niche offers that like anything gets on. Now getting to a million a month is like, your offer has to be very dialed to get you like Which we haven't hit that. Pretty sure we'll hit it by the end of the year.
But I mean, if you think about it, $100,000 a month that any person, even in San Diego, a high-end place, is a lot of fucking money.
Yeah, of course.
So it's like $100K, people aren't even satisfied with that.
But then also realize that $100,000 at a million a year business is tiny.
It still is.
So then it's just like you have to stretch, and that's why you need to be around people who like have—
Have it at another level.
Yeah, have it at another level. Like, the second you think that like, If you're in this, like, and you're like, yeah, you think $100K a month is crazy, you need to get around better people. You need to be around all the people who are making $1 to $10 million a month. 'Cause then it's like, it's not even gonna seem like, oh my gosh, it seems so impossible to make $100 grand a month. It's gonna make making $100 grand a month so much easier just because you're around people who are making $10 million a month, $5 million.
Oh no, 100%. Even looking at you at a million or whatever, you're about to be at a million, it's like, okay, $100K should be feasible. It's actual realistic. I mean, I was around people when I was younger that $100,000 a year is a lot of money. So it's like being around people around like $800,000 to $900,000 a year. Yeah, whatever you're doing, that $100K is nothing.
It's controversial, but you need to become pretty much elitist and only hang out with people who make a lot of money.
It changes your perspective. Like, we were sitting here—
I don't have a single person, like, I don't really hang out with people for the most part who make less than me. Like, if I'm like, 'cause I'm trying to like get there. So I'm like, I'm still like, I'm not here to mentor. That's why I don't do consulting.
Yeah.
Like I'm not here to— I do enjoy stuff like this, but it's just like, I'm like, I need to learn. Like I'm not, you know, we're not at a million a month yet. We probably will be end of year. And then it's like, I want our offer to get to $5 million a month and I'm building everything. I'm having a team, like we have, you know, multi-six figures in payroll because I know where we're going.
And the thing that's really cool about when he did it is like he didn't come from anything, no money or nothing.
I mean, he came from— Yeah, yeah. And it's one of those things, it's not like I came from poverty. Yeah, I didn't. I'm not gonna be like, oh, I grew up in poverty. I didn't. It's actually, I grew up in the middle, upper middle, and I saw my dad was a doctor, and which he should be rich. He's not because he didn't learn how to like imagine if he did that.
Imagine all the money he made. He'd had an extra offer on the side. He gave to you.
I mean, honestly, if you just yeah, they just made some financial mistakes, and they could have bought houses. They didn't. And just like it doesn't matter how much money you make, even if you make good money, if you spend it. Yeah.
So my question now, now the new generation in what almost 2027 is like okay, there's real estate investment, and And then there's paid ad investment. I think we had this conversation shortly a couple weeks ago. It's like, why even buy real estate at this point if you can just do this?
Yeah, I mean, everyone's different. It just depends what your skill set is. But on this point—
The ROI's like this though, right? It's like way bigger.
Yeah. But on this point with, um, like come up and stuff, I actually think it's interesting coming from the middle. A lot of people, the reason champions, you very rarely see high-level people come from the middle. They typically come from either like super like lower class or super upper class because have the connections, or they have the lower class and they have nothing to lose. Yeah, when you come from the middle, especially like upper middle, you have this golden handcuffs and you have this life laid out in front of you that it's like you can go out and live this life, which is very comfortable. You can go make $200K, $300K, $400K a year, go work at McKinsey, go work at Deloitte, be an accountant, be—
And that's success, you know? And that's success.
That's success for a lot of people. That is the American dream. And I like that, what I saw, and I saw that everyone, like, I saw lawyers. I never knew the super rich lawyers. I knew the lawyers that made $200,000, $300,000.
And that's success to you in middle class, coming up.
Yeah, and I just saw everyone's still complaining about money. Everyone's hating what they do for work. And I'm like, for me, it's just like, I never want to be in that situation. So I'm never gonna work for anyone. If I am homeless, I'll be homeless. Like, I am just—
That's exactly how I told myself.
Never gonna work for anyone.
I was always just like, I'm either going to become ultra rich or I'm gonna be on the beach just broke trying to still figure it out. Like, there's no, there's no middle. Middle is a fail. If you're in the middle of making $200,000, $300,000, you're failing.
And that's the thing with failure. A lot of people, like, you have to switch your perspective on failure because everyone is— because I like to say, I'm like, oh, I have no fear and stuff. Failure is just defined differently. So I absolutely am afraid of things, but what I define failure as is the life that everyone else aspires to, which is like making $300,000, $400,000 at a good steady job and living a life, living a basic life. And it's not even basic. I'm not even talking about the average. That's still a top 1% life.
That's 1%, but it's not—
when you really look at it and you hang around other people, it's like, is that really what Because I'm just like, there's, there's a yacht out here the other day, it's like $200 million. I'm like, the second I saw that stuff, I'm like, I have to, I have to get to that level, or I have to die on my deathbed knowing I went for it, I was courageous, I did everything that I could, and it just wasn't in God's plan. And that's fine too.
Yeah.
But if I'm on my deathbed, I'm like, and I took that for, you know, $300,000, $400,000, I went to college and I worked this shitty job and I got worked to death, and then AI eventually replaced me, and I'd just be sitting on my deathbed, it's like Fuck, what if I did something different? What if I actually had courage and some balls? That's how I look at it. So for me, it's not even the outcome. It's like, I'm gonna live my life as courageously as possible, and I know I'm gonna be rewarded because most people, they're smarter than me, they're more talented than me, they just don't have the courage.
So going back to this ad strategy, it's like every dollar you really realistically make on any sales needs to go back in ads until you're scaling. You never stop. Eventually, even in your position, you're probably doing the same thing.
Yeah, 'cause it's like, these businesses are profitable. It's not like I have to invest Every dollar we make.
You just wanna scale it so fast. Yeah. You wanna become that $200 million guy.
Yeah, and everyone has different unlocks. Like, you have to be reminded more than you need to be taught. So like, I have people sit me down and go through the same thing. I'm just like, why are you tripping on this? 'Cause it's like, if you just do the math on what you're doing, you typically see whatever you're thinking is silly.
It's like, wait— It's impossible to lose. Like you said, you could literally scale any business model. But I mean, if you have a good one, then you can close it. Yeah, yeah.
If you just understand this, because you're like, you're just getting conversations with random people. If some people have like want what you have and you're decent at talking to people, like you can close them on something.
And then even like on top of having a good personal brand, how much of a factor does that matter? Like you say you run your ads from your small account. Does that even mean anything?
Like if I have a good brand, let's say I have a personal brand, I have a page, cool life. Does that matter? It doesn't matter. It can help.
Do they check out your page and like, oh, this guy's actually dope? And do they— does that help your—
it won't hurt it.
It'll make it— yeah, it has to make it better.
It won't hurt. Yeah, having a good page— I mean, it's not like you won't make— like, we have a page right now, one of the pages that we're running is like a brand. There's like hardly any posts on it and it's printing. Yeah, but it gets crushed.
Like, that's like my other buddy, he has— he's like 100, couple hundred followers, a couple hundred followers, and it's like sitting there just making $100,000 a month. And it's like, dude, how? Like, I have this personal brand that looks so good and it's like We'll just run the ads. Ads are so much more powerful than organic, right?
Yeah, and I'm lazy, honestly, in a lot of ways. And so it's like, ads are like the lazy way to make money. You're getting people to come to you. I have never done outreach. I don't ever want to do outreach. I just, I hate it.
That's what I'm doing really well with actually is outreach right now, but it's like, why not just do ads and just have them come to you, right? It's like anything in life, it's like the law of attraction. Just have them come to you.
Yeah, it's like, I don't know.
It's like I have a good offer. I can help you make money. Come to me and I'll do it. I never want to be the guy that's pushing my offer. I don't want to be like buy my stuff. I want to be the guy that's like yeah, I have this bottle. I've done it for myself. Done it for my clients. If you want to do it, do it. I will help you. Yeah, that's kind of how I want my page to be as I'm showing my lifestyle on my page from what I did.
Yeah, and unless you push like I unless you push more people want. I don't promote anything. I've never tried to sell anything on Instagram. I don't monetize my Instagram really in any way other than people just. to know you, especially since moving in here. But like, I like— it's actually funny because the reverse flips where people like throw money at you and like, hey, how can I work with you?
They're like, I'll give you $10,000.
And it's actually— and this is also, it's kind of a separate point, but focus as an entrepreneur. I say no. Like, people are messaging me, I'll pay you this for consulting. I say no to everything. It's like $5,000 here, $3,000 here. This person might— if I got them on a call, I could probably get them to pay me $10,000, but I'm like, That's not what I'm doing. I'm building this company over here. I wanna get it to $100 million. Me doing that, yeah, it's $10,000. It's just at a point, like I used to not even be able to afford Chipotle. And then it's like now being in a position to actually decline like $5,000, $3,000 here, like declining it actually puts me in a space to make more money. 'Cause I'm like, money's so abundant, I will never be broke again. It's like not possible.
And that's what's based off of this, what you do in your ads, right?
The fear, at least for me, has been Pretty much taken away. Because I know, especially from the situation I was in, negative $80K credit card debt, as broke as you get, negative, 3 bank accounts were negative. I'm like, I came from that and I can do it again. I started 9 businesses.
That's just learning this, right?
I didn't get lucky. I didn't get lucky. I mean, if you do 9 businesses over the course of a decade, one of them is gonna work.
Is every business with the same model ad strategy? Is every single one—
I mean, I did e-com, I did a bunch of different stuff. I did e-com, but like, yeah, I tested like probably like 5 businesses in like the service space.
So it's like if you just keep trying until this makes sense, right?
Yeah, and you get better every business you try. Like, you get better at certain things, and then you just find the offer. Everything is just offer.
So realistically, if you just master— don't worry about the business— master ads, master how all this works and all these concepts, and pretty much $100 million offer book. Yeah, it's like you can sell anything.
And logic and emotion.
So realistically, the The person with the bad business that knows this will do better than the person with the good business that doesn't know this.
For sure.
100%, right?
Yeah.
Like, you have a great business model but don't understand anything like this, you will get crushed by someone with a bad business, right?
Yeah, that's why—
It's crazy to think.
Yeah, that's why you always like, when testing offers, like I'll sell something that we're testing and just see what traction we get. And if someone buys it—
You're like, why not run with it?
Well, I'll just like see if they would buy it.
So you are focusing on it. A lot of people tell me to like, oh, just focus on one offer, make that, scale that to $50K to $100K, but you're just throwing ads here and there to kind of test stuff as you're going with this big business.
Well, one offer for sure. Like we haven't changed our offer.
Yeah, one offer, but you said that you're just throwing, you're testing here and there other stuff?
Yeah, like when we were doing that, like when I was doing that, I'm gonna always, like I'm always gonna test everything.
Yeah, why not, right?
So test different offers, but now it's 100%. It's like we're on a B2B side right now, separate angle. My business partner's initiative that he's bringing up, like he's testing out, we're testing some ads, seeing what happens.
So even another another total different point, but if I'm trying to run like let's say a self improvement course, like kind of like what like Tate did, like in a way, can I just throw that ad out there? And if it works, just like I don't even promote it on my page.
Throw it out there. Yeah, for sure, you can do that. But it's not one thing I'll say is like if you guys want to, and so I I have a kind of beef with some people in the industry with just like all the. the life coaches and stuff who basically LARP a lifestyle that they don't really live to sell life coaching. I hate that more than I hate literally anything. So it's like a lot of people try to sell coaching before they've done anything. And so I think that's like, that makes sense. That's why like, dude, your offer—
90%.
When we talked about your offer on the life coaching, it's like, I'm not saying like, yes, there could be a lot of lessons, but you need to get a lot richer in my opinion It wouldn't even be on— But it would be—
It wouldn't even be making money.
Your offer here, and that's why I wanted you to go all in on this offer when we last talked. Yeah, we did. Glad you did. This is like, it's not even about you.
It's about helping people.
It doesn't matter about you. You're building something that has nothing to do with you.
It's actually a lot easier to close people, what I've realized. The rates are like extra 25% on closing because it's like, here's the proof. If you want it or not, give me the good clips, it will work. Instead of like a self-improvement, trying to convince them that like you know enough and it's like they might think that they'll help you. But like, this is like, here's the numbers.
Here's the service. Yeah, yeah, it's a lot easier to close.
Plus it's also a lot less work once you get it rolling.
Yeah, it's— and then the momentum shifts. And then once you've built yourself up to like you're making X amount on your social media, then everyone's gonna just want to like work with you, work with you on the coaching side.
No, you probably say no.
Yeah, and then you're like, I don't want to do that. Like, I might say is like, I literally—
you're saying a lot of most people on Instagram are faking this lifestyle, becoming coaches and trying to make $5,000 to $20,000 a month just to be able to survive, even though they have no Which they can do, which they can do.
And what they do is they also reinvest almost 100% of that into that fake lifestyle. So they never get ahead. They literally like, they're LARPing to make their $5K to $20K that they're reinvesting into their LARP.
They're living a good lifestyle, but then again, it's like eventually comes to an end. Something happens, right? It's like you almost overextend to the point where it fails.
Yeah. And I can, I Brief conversation, I feel like I can sniff it out with people. There's just their fake and he's like, everyone's full of shit. This is why, especially in the marketing industry, it's just like everyone lies. That's why anything I do, like show proof, like always flows like, hey, here's what we did today, here's what we did this month on payment processor. The only reason I do that is because no one does it. It's because everyone, I don't believe shit. You guys shouldn't believe anything. And that's why, like with this, is like it's an offer that doesn't really require belief.
It's like, it's proof.
It's dude, if we post 240 reels a month, do you think the total cumulative views would be like a million dollars or not? A million views.
It's like a common.
And then it's like, and then it's like your guarantee is like viral coach, a million views or you don't pay. And that's how they do it. It's like if each fucking reel averages this amount of views.
Or mostly says make an offer. It's impossible for someone to say no. And if I'm like, I'm gonna give you 240 reels and I'm gonna guarantee you a million views for X amount of dollars, which the price is. Cheap, right?
Can you say that price is fairly cheap?
It's nothing for what I'm offering for the right people.
So don't do business with— like, you're gonna have obviously some fucking broke people come on, be like, you know, these are people who wouldn't really think $2,000 is a lot.
These are people—
yeah, if you're selling to people who think $2,000 is a lot of money, get the fuck away from that audience.
100%.
Like, yeah, I mean, like, you don't try to— like, um, that's part of the reason we, we scaled and we maneuvered is like we were initially selling growth to existing cleaning businesses. So think about the person who's coming to us. The person who's coming to us who clicks on our ad is a struggling cleaning business owner.
They're already broke from the start, meaning they're broke, you know.
And so it's like, even if we have the best agency and the best deliverables, if the buyers can't afford you, it doesn't really matter. So it's like, we don't have the capability to build a great business. Is it doable? Yes, but it's just harder than finding someone who makes a steady income, And you're just there to take them a step further. So anyways, um, yeah, I'm excited, excited for this. I mean, we'll probably like do some— I don't even know where this is going to be used on. We'll clip it up and post it on different platforms. Um, but yeah, this is like, let's get more data on this. We may make it a series, maybe have Dom back here at the table and kind of see where he's at in 30 days. Dude, we could do that. We could do like a YouTube video like that. We should.
I mean, I'll make it. I'll make a series on mine. Actually, people actually blow up online just by doing that.
I mean, because this is this is this is an easy. I mean, this is a very easy business. Scaling.
Let's say scaling to $100,000 a month in three months.
Yeah, and then it's like do the math on $100K a month. Okay, six K offer, $100K. That is is it fifteen? Is it hundred divided by six?
We just closed sixty three times or three hundred or other.
Let's call it seventeen clients.
Plus also the recurring people, that's what— what was that term called again where they return? It's like free ad spend.
Well, you have LTV, which is like you have your CAC and you have LTV. The 2 most important metrics are how much does it cost to get a customer, how much is that customer gonna pay with you.
Like the lifetime.
Lifetime, yeah. So 17 clients, $100K a month. Obviously just reverse engineer everything, put everything on a spreadsheet, get your emotions out of it. So the less emotional you are, the more further along you'll go in business, which is why you see really stupid people make a shit ton of money and you see really smart people stay broke, is because they're too smart for their own good. They worry about everything. If you guys are a worrier, you need to find some way to fix that because it's not—
I mean, why? Even with the ads, simplify the ads to say what the bottle is and And just take risks and throw at it.
There's one thing I've learned is like business is a lot more simple than I made it out to be. So anyways, hopefully this is some value. Like we'll probably follow up with Dom here in 30 days. We need more data. We need at least—
Should we kind of make a goal maybe on like another—
My goal in 30 days, I wanna have at least $5,000 spent in the next 30 days. I mean, well, minimum $100 a day. Minimum.
Yeah.
You need to spend minimum $3K in the next 30 days. Okay.
That's the minimum.
$3K in 30 days. Just like, just like in your mind, just fucking— it's a good mindset, mental shift. Light it on fire. $3,000, you're lighting it on fire. You're not gonna light it on fire, but just like if you need to like detach yourself in that way, just, you know, if you're blowing $3K, 2, 3 of those leather jackets.
I'd blow $100K. Leather jackets. I'd blow $100K. I mean, if I knew it was gonna work.
So Yeah, so $3K, we'll follow up with Dom basically 30 days from now, see where we're at. So you're gonna spend $3,000.
So the first step is making the 4 ads, or do you think the ads I already have are fine?
I'll show you them. You can show me the ads later, but like, yeah, get the 4 ads out. 4 ads are talking, people are talking. Over the next 30 days, you're gonna test a lot of ads.
So then that's another next question real fast is—
So $3K spent.
When do you test?
30 ads.
When do you know, so you're saying test new ads?
$3K spent, test 30 ads.
Test 30 ads, okay, so then how often are we switching these ads?
Yeah, pretty much. I mean, pretty much.
Every day.
So I'm making a new ad every day?
Every other day. So I'm turning off the other ones?
Give it like, give it at least an ad every, like give an ad 2 days typically.
Give an ad 2 days and then turn it off?
Yeah, you can just—
Doesn't that cause the—
Don't turn it off, but you can, yeah.
Just when it drops to $10?
Don't turn the campaign off, but just replace them. Like keep the campaign on and then you're just putting more into the mix.
So doesn't it take time for the algorithm? It says all I need is 2 days to figure out if it's good or not? I didn't know that. I thought— I was advised by someone with ads that's like, you need to give it time, at least a couple days for the ad to work.
Everyone has different ads, like there's so many ways.
But you're saying just 2 days, if it doesn't work, next. Just next ad. New topic.
Yeah, I mean, yeah, it's just like, just keep it, yeah, and look at the CPMs.
30 ads, 3 clicks.
CPMs are the number one thing to see is like, what are your CPMs? It's gonna show you like, how well is it serving? And then if you're getting like super low CPMs but you have super low clicks, That means it's getting a lot of awareness but it's not converting.
Yeah.
Which could be like maybe there's no CTA or maybe the CTA needs to be better or like people find the video interesting or whatever but they're not clicking and like why? And then it's just figuring that's just like ad psychology and stuff.
So then also making that Facebook, it was what right here, Facebook lead right here.
Facebook lead forms. Oh, and then CRM. He needs a CRM. Right now he does not have a CRM.
Yeah, that's a problem.
That's a big problem.
So explain to them what a CRM is.
CRM is a customer relationship manager, and basically when you run Facebook lead forms, you need all those leads to go into a CRM. Typically we use GoHighLevel. It's the easiest. It's $97 a month. There's no excuses not to have it. And then that's when you get— then a lead comes in and you have SMS and emails going out. So like, you know, you have 7-day email campaigns. So CRM I'm giving you this, so okay.
I was excited for that.
The first step is to go high level SMS and email campaigns, which you can watch a YouTube video and figure out how to set it up. Yeah. And then don't worry about paying. Like you don't have just you can just set that up. Understand the CRM yourself. Don't hire a tech person. Just like understand everything yourself and then hire a tech person later on. Like you don't have to worry about that now.
Just use go high level until I get to the point where you've been sure you have custom.
I know. Um, yeah, we have custom eventually.
So like, yeah, $100,000, $200,000 and get a custom.
Like, this thing with GoHighLevel, guys, like a lot of people are like, oh, you use GoHighLevel, like I know GoHighLevel. It's like, you can pay for a $50,000 GoHighLevel setup. And so then there's like the $97 a month, which is GoHighLevel. And then there's like the GoHighLevel that we use, which people could pay like $20,000 for just because like there's so many things that are in it. Like, it's basically like a WordPress almost. It's like you can build whatever you want and go high level. Yeah, and that's what you're paying for because everyone's like, oh, I have a CRM, I signed up for the $97 subscription. Like, it's very different. Like, that's, that's a start. It's a start. Um, so guys, this is an expensive start. You're talking like, like cost to start this, $97 a month for the CRM. iClose is another $97. Facebook, you know, $100 a day. So yeah, monthly, you know $3,000 for ads, test budget. Then software, early on, let's say you're gonna be spending $500 a month, let's say, on software. That's it. That's the overhead of these businesses, which is why I like them.
So $5K, let's say, to start off with.
Yeah, start off with $5K.
Test it out. If you lose $5K or you can make $1 million a year.
Yeah, and again, it's like, it would be very hard to lose. Again, guys, you'd have to like, at $100 a day, I mean, one, you'd like, He's not gonna spend $6,000 and not make $6,000 to put an offer like this. If you are calling the leads, it's like almost not possible even if your ads suck. You just have to understand that. Like, it's almost not possible.
Where I'm finding all these leads, is that in GoHighLevel or is that on Facebook?
Well, you're running ads on Facebook and then they go in.
So I'm just checking constantly, checking GoHighLevel.
Wait, you get a notification on Slack on your phone? So then you have to go on Slack or can it be on GoHighLevel? You have to put Yeah, I— you put a new lead, Slack. You want to start learning your business on Slack. So create a Slack, which is free. So Slack is free.
So get a text, oh, we got a lead, you just instantly call it. Yeah, get it on a call, get everything set up here. Perfect. So, all right, I appreciate you.
I'll give you this and then we'll— I mean, we'll, we'll talk more. No, yeah, we're gonna do another one of these and I'm excited because, I mean, realistically scaled it to like $30K revenue just on word of mouth.
So it's like, okay, Proven just off word of mouth. It's like, okay, now it's time to take it.
Yeah, if you can do that. I've never even done word of mouth.
That's what I'm saying. I'm just going around talking to everybody. We get referrals, stuff like that.
We get referrals. I have referrals, but I've never done like—
I've given commission out to my clients, 15%, just to go close people when it's working. So if I could scale up to $30,000 revenue, it's like, if I can master this, it's like, it's no-brainer.
Okay. Yeah, 100%.
No, I appreciate you and respect you a lot for showing me all this.
I'm excited. I love this stuff. That's why, like, guys, I do this stuff for free. So if you guys see this video and you want to do one you have a business like this, you wanna scale. I don't charge for these, I just like do it. You do this for fun. Business breakdown, yeah, it's 'cause I don't, the second I charge for it, I feel like I have to get you a result and I don't wanna have to worry about that. 'Cause I'm like distracted, 'cause the second I take, and this is another thing on focus, the second I take any money from him, now I'm distracted. If I'm doing this for free on a Sunday 'cause I wanna do it, I'm not distracted. It's very different because I don't have any obligation for him.
Not a great reason to do it.
Like it's pretty much just like, It works great.
We'll be using my exact offer, what I'm doing for him to blow him up. Should be super easy, especially with his ad. We're just gonna do a little trade-off, which is fun.
Yeah, 'cause it's one of those things, like no one on here, like it's like, do you want content posted? It's not really like, you either do or you don't. And it's like, do you believe that you can do that? It's like, why would they not believe that you could? 'Cause you're currently doing it.
I'm doing it myself and for others.
There's not a lot of beliefs that you have to jump over for someone to pay, and then you just have to get in front of the right people Exactly.
So that's exactly what I've been talking to my business partners with. I'm like, yo, like, we have the offer. How do we get to all the people that need it? And it's through this, right? There's no other way. I mean, you could talk to many— you can knock on as many doors as you want, but it's like, this is where the money's to be made.
Yeah, 100%.
So yeah, I appreciate it. You definitely helped this. I'm gonna get on this right now when I get back. And then yeah, we're excited to do— just throw $3,000 in ads.
Yeah, and then with everything, all the other questions you're gonna have, You have ChatGPT for— exactly.
Probably take a picture of the sheet. ChatGPT.
Yeah, exactly.
