A short YouTube reflection by Kim Zoller on cultivating a 'beginner's mind'—approaching people, ideas, and days with fresh eyes, curiosity, and openness. The speaker references a personal vision board and meditation practice, defines 'beginner's mind' (seeing each idea as if you "haven't been there, done that"), and challenges listeners to adopt this stance for a fresh start.

As I sit here meditating today, I'm looking at my little, my vision board and one of the things that I have on there is a beginner's mind. And the question I have for you is do you have a beginner's mind? And do you know what that means? What it means is looking at everything with fresh eyes. What it means is looking at every idea as though you haven't been there, done that. And I know that the older we get, we think we've been there and we've done that. We know. And yet if we start every conversation with a beginner's mind with something to learn, with being curious, with knowing that there is something that we can take from it to build on what we already know, it is quite amazing. So I challenge you today to think about how to have a beginner's mind as I do the same for myself. Looking at a fresh day, fresh start, a beginner's mind.
