The speaker urges observing these noises without taking them on, choosing intentional responses to preserve positive energy and calm throughout the day.

Hi, it's Kim Zoller. So here's the challenge for you today. What noises are around you that are detracting from what is positive and what is good? And sometimes those noises are family members in the background. Sometimes they are kids yelling. And not that our kids aren't good. It's just that we don't have to get upset. We don't have to take it on like it's something that we need to handle or do. So I want us to all think about what are those noises, whether they're in our own heads or they're physically happening around us, that are detracting from our positive energy. And when we hear something, again, whether it's in your head or it's outside of you, that we just say, okay, I notice it, I see it, I notice it. I don't need to react to it. Pay attention to the noises. They're there. And it's how you choose to direct them and how you choose to respond to them is truly what mindfulness is about and truly what is going to make a huge difference in your moments and in your day. Have a great day.
