Meet People Where They Are

How many times have you heard someone say, meet people where they are? I've heard it a million times, and I don't think I actually got it until this week. Why do we want to meet people where they are? Because otherwise our message falls flat. So if we have a goal, if we're passionate about something, I realize, like, I'm so passionate about mindset and growth and resilience and mindfulness and how that connects the dots in leadership, leadership of our lives, of our colleagues, of our kids. And sometimes I'm so passionate that it doesn't come across to someone who's not there in a passionate way. It actually comes across as a telling way. And when I realized that, I thought, oh, my gosh, I finally got it. Meet people where they are. Have the very best day and go meet someone where they are so that your message gets heard.
