Short conversational YouTube clip (Taking Strides with Kim) featuring host (Speaker B, Kim Zoller) and guest Denise Medlinka. Denise recommends using walking together (sidewalks/trails) during difficult conversations to expend nervous energy, reduce anxiety, and enable better, less confrontational dialogue. The clip opens with an introduction and closes with thanks.
Hi, everyone. So glad that you're taking strides with Denise Medlinka and with me today, my amazing client of many years and my friend and Denise. One thing that I have learned is that Denise has taught me so much about how to walk and talk through conflict. So will you just share a little on.
That? Yeah. Yeah. I think it's great. Anytime we have something where we're trying to work through a difficult topic with someone, if we can get out from behind the desk and just get on, get on a sidewalk or a trail and just start walking. And this works well with people that we work with. It works well with our kids. Get from facing face to face to just walking together. And we find is as we as we expend the energy that kind of removes some of the anxiety that goes with the conflict and we can actually have a better conversation. Highly recommend.
Yeah. Thanks for taking strides, and I hope you learned from Denise, because every time I have a conversation with her, I learn.
