In this solo episode of the Business Without Burnout podcast, host Kirsten Roldan walks listeners through advanced tactics for crafting launch‑event emails that both convert and stay FTC‑compliant. She explains how to frame performance claims using proven ranges, tie results to client actions, and add contextual disclaimers. Roldan then outlines three high‑impact bonus types—an "everyone gets" bonus, a secret live‑show‑up bonus, and a fast‑action bonus—and shows how to position them to create urgency and overcome objections. Next, she critiques click‑bait subject lines and provides a framework for writing specific, relevant subject lines that speak directly to the ideal client’s pain points, promises, or objections. Throughout, she ties these tactics back to her premium coaching program, Million Dollar Email Elite, describing its modules (messaging strategy, email copy, evergreen funnels, a 30‑day done‑with‑you writing challenge, compliance guidance, and platform adaptation) and the target audience (B2B coaches with 500+ subscribers and a launch‑based offer). The episode concludes with a concise action‑item checklist and a call‑to‑action to join the program, encouraging listeners to share their launch results.

Welcome to the Business Without Burnout podcast. I'm Kirsten Roldan, and I help entrepreneurs make a lot of money peacefully. I'm a New Yorican who went from working in healthcare while cleaning houses and braiding hair on the side to building a business that's generated over $4 million and counting. But there was a time I almost shut my business down because I had a lot of money but no peace. I managed to turn it around, and that's why every week I share the 4 strategies that help you grow without burnout: email marketing, team systems, and mindset. So let's dive in. Listen, you can actually make big promises in your emails and be FTC compliant. So if you have the proof, make the promise. Welcome back to the podcast. We're going over more tips for writing webinar emails. In the last episode, we mapped the basic sequence and the jobs of each email. Now we're getting into the advanced stuff like compliance and bonuses and messaging strategy and how this all works inside Million Dollar Email Elite. Let's talk about compliance first, because if you are nervous about what you're even allowed to say, you will water down your copy so much that nobody buys. I'm not your attorney, so always check with your own counsel. But here's how to sell boldly and confidently while being compliant. First, talk in proven ranges and patterns, not in guarantees unless you're willing to make one. So for example, clients have reported increasing their launch revenue by 25 to 50% using these email strategies instead of you will 10x. You also should try to tie every claim to a client behavior. So for example, when clients implement the full launch email strategy we teach, many see at least 25% more sales in 30 days. Then as much as you can, you should add context and disclaimers around individual results, such as these examples are what's possible. For example, for me, your results will depend on your list size, your implementation, your offer, etc. Not making an actual promise for your offer in your emails is not keeping you safe, it's keeping you broke. Make the promise alongside clear contextual case studies and you'll be more persuasive in your email copy. Now let's talk bonuses because this is where you can create a ton of urgency and excitement around your webinar before they even see your offer sales page. First, bonuses convert when they either help people get results faster, easier, or with less sacrifice. If your bonus overcomes an objection or feels worth the entire investment in your program, it's a strong bonus. For webinar emails, I like to approach it with 3 bonus types. An everyone gets it bonus. This is where anyone who registers for the webinar and joins the offer gets this bonus. But then I also like a secret show-up bonus. So for example, everyone who attends live will get a special bonus that they cannot get unless they are live. And then a fast action bonus. For example, join while we are on the call and get X. Make sure your event emails sell the bonuses and not just list them. Explain what each bonus helps them do and what problem it removes. Don't be surprised when your bonuses are so good that people are messaging you and they're like, wait, I can't show up live, but I want the live bonus. Can I just join early? Will you let me get the bonus if I join early? Don't be surprised. Don't be surprised if you end up, uh, preselling. If your launch bonus isn't overcome a major objection or it doesn't feel worth the entire investment of your offer, it won't convert. Now, your webinar email copy can be great, but if the subject lines are weak, nobody will see it and nobody will care and they won't even know you're doing a webinar. Subject lines are the first point of value and should break your subscriber's inbox. They should look at it and say, whoa, that's me, or this is exactly what I'm wondering, what I'm wanting. I need to read this. So your subject line should not be clickbaity. They need to be highly specific to your ideal client. So for example, instead of, you'll never guess what they said to me, name, and it's like something stupid, right? Instead, something like how to increase your webinar show-up rates for your high-ticket coaching program. Way more specific, super relevant to the person that is most likely to buy my offer. See the difference? Your subject line should either introduce a unique angle, promise a transformation, solve a problem, answer an objection, or share a case study. That it also answers an objection. If you're one of my Million Dollar Emailers, you can use our proven AI tool to map out the subject lines for your entire launch. The best subject lines are actually very boring. Clickbait subject lines don't even convert and they're just annoying. Everything I just walked you through is literally what we build with you inside Million Dollar Email Elite.
