A speaker warns against trading a corporate job for self-employment that still feels like work. The real trap: replacing one paycheck with another instead of building a business that runs without you.
I hope that was helpful for everybody too because, you know, I realize, I certainly realize that a majority of folks are coming from an income replacement scenario, right? You're trying to replace your income coming from, from, from corporate America, coming from, you know, hustling in your business as an entrepreneur, maybe as a solo entrepreneur, maybe you're a part of a small team and the first objective is to replace, you know, 150 to 250 in income. Totally. I totally, I totally get that. But the bigger you can think with the end in mind, the easier this is going to become because that income replacement can sometimes become a trap. Instead of working for a job now you got this business that you become beholden to and now you have some golden handcuffs, right, that you can't leave and you, and you can hate your boss, but you know who the boss is, right? Yeah. Working for a crazy man.
