This is a YouTube video titled "Why I Love The Fencing Business" featuring Kyle Mallien discussing the fencing industry, including pricing, market challenges, and business opportunities. The content is a monologue or talk by Kyle Mallien sharing insights about the fencing business and advising listeners on how to evaluate local fencing companies.
Fencing, man, I love this business. I'm actually putting a fence in at the Wisconsin property. I just got a quote on it. It's 2 acre property, $65,000 ticket price. I'm doing a fence over here because I'm planning on getting something special here and punchline this company out of LA, $40,000. And it's, I mean it's maybe 200 yards, right? Like so the back of the front and some specialized stuff like it is a high T margin business for a number of reasons. There's only a few select people to do it. What I would challenge you to do is if you're interested in a business like that, go to your local market and call a fencing company, say, hey, you know, my name is Kyle, I got a house up in La Costa. I want to get a fence for privacy and for security reasons. And I want to get a double swing gate on the front and I want to get a privacy fence on the back for my dogs. And I want to do this, this and, and see what their lead time is and just price shop them. You'll be surprised that they don't answer the phone. You'll be surprised at how long it takes a service technician to call you back. You'll be surprised at how long it would take them to get out here, right. To quote a project. You'll be surprised on what they quote at the lead time. You know that this is a service based business and you could crush these people based on speed to lead, speed to conversion, right? And you'll find who's doing what in the market and you'll be shocked. I'll be shocked for you if you can find one person that's doing it really well, really well. A lot of these businesses, call them, see how long it takes to get them to come to your house for something, right? That tells me, ding, ding, ding, here's an opportunity. Because these people are not doing a good job at their business.
