The content focuses on business opportunities and market insights related to med spas, but it is a single-speaker presentation without a conversation involving Kyle Mallien.
Med Spas. I've been working on a situation here the last couple of days with one of the biggest consultants in this space. I absolutely love this space. She is a renowned expert and is sponsored by l' Oreal and all sorts of people. And I'm trying to bring this person into the fold because I think that there's a roll up opportunity there. We're talking to her yesterday. She said, Kyle, there's 11,300 med spas in the country. Let me tell you what they look like. Owner operated, $1.2 million, average size, 20% profit margins. And I said, bup, bup, bup. Hold on a second. That's exactly my thesis though. You have unit economics of $1.2 million with 20% profit margins. That's a $300,000 cash flow or a $250,000 cash flow. Opportunity to increase the ticket price, opportunity to expand, opportunity to own multiple units. Want to be in this business. More private equity is coming to this business. You see all the cool services and things that they're doing in their business that's really, really interesting. Botox and chin tightening and skin tightening and fat reduction and weight loss. This stuff, vanity is not going out of business ever. Right? So think about this from a long term perspective. There's a lot of healthy opportunities out there. Again, the IV hydration and there's a lot of health and wellness things that play into this. Infrared light biohacking and lots of things that could go under this umbrella of Med Spa. But almost none of the alternative ones require a doctor on staff. Some of them do. State regulations change. It's state by state, but I love this category. I think that there's no ceiling to how much we can do here. So I really like medspas.
