In this testimonial, Lauren Summers, a 30‑year‑old stay‑at‑home mom from Pasadena, MD, shares how the Organize 365 Sunday Basket system—and the accompanying All Access 100‑day program—helped her manage a recent adult ADHD diagnosis. She explains her lifelong struggle with disorganization, the mental load of trying to remember ideas, and how the Sunday Basket became an "external, physical brain" where she captures reminders, ideas, and family requests on note cards or via an Alexa voice list. Lauren describes her workflow: adding items throughout the day, then reviewing the basket weekly or monthly, sorting items into actionable pockets, and integrating digital Alexa lists. She highlights Lisa Woodruff’s philosophy that organization need not follow a rigid standard, encouraging families to design systems that fit their lifestyle. After a DIY trial, Lauren purchased the official basket and found the color‑coded setup more convenient. She reports reduced stress, less depression, improved memory, and a calmer household, noting that both she and her husband love the system. She recommends the Sunday Basket and the All Access program to others, emphasizing its life‑changing impact.

Hey friends. So I just wanted to talk a little bit about the Sunday Basket and the difference that it has made in my life. It is absolutely amazing. I'll start with my name is Lauren Summers. I am from Pasadena, Maryland. I'm 30 years old. I have an incredible husband who works in law enforcement. I'm I have my degree in nursing, but right now I am a stay-at-home mom. I've got 3 children, ages 6, 4, and 2. We have 2 dogs, Golden Retrievers. They're awesome. And we have 2 rats. The rats were supposed to be food for a reptilian pet of ours that he didn't eat, so the live rats became pets. We no longer have the snake but we still have the rat so that's fun. Anyway, I first heard about Lisa and Organized 365 from Attitude Magazine and Attitude Podcasts and they did a segment on organizing your home, Having ADHD and what that looks like and whatnot. I was recently diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, and it completely changed my world when I was able to understand that what I previously thought was just laziness and being messy and disorganized and just all of that was actually a— The inability to process information and all that. like somebody without ADHD. I never realized it was a problem. I was never hyperactive as a kid. I was never whatever, but always disorganized. It's always been a thing forever. And when I found her after hearing that, I went on to her podcast and started listening to them and just completely fell in love with everything, with how everything works. I've tried so many different Organizational things and whatnot. And it just didn't— I couldn't keep it up, I guess. So when I— one of my struggles with ADHD is that I feel like I have ideas that pop into my mind impulsively, like all of a sudden a thought will come to my mind. And naturally, I will just start to act on it because I'm afraid I'm going to forget it. I can't I can't keep thoughts in my mind very much, so I'm constantly forgetting things, constantly stressed thinking that I'm not going to remember to do something. So I spend a lot of mental energy trying to keep ideas and thoughts in my head. So when I learned about the Sunday Basket and realizing that it is practically an external, physical, tangible brain, that that's what I keep I call everything in from reminders to, oh, I thought about repainting something, or I had a great idea on how we could organize this, or the kids mentioned wanting something like this for Christmas. And I'll just write all these things down and throw them into my Sunday basket. And then once a month or once a week, I'll go through them and organize them. And some of them are things that I had even— had already done that week and other things were things that I wanted to save for later and I would put it in a slash pocket just so that I always had it there. I always knew where to go for it. And it has— I've also with— we have an Alexa in almost every room of the house and I have even set a list on Alexa called Sunday Basket. So I will ask her to add This idea to Sunday Basket if I don't have a note card on hand or anything like that. And then when I go through my Sunday Basket, I'll go through my Alexa list and I'll add all those things up and put them all together. That way, if I'm, you know, in the bathroom or doing laundry or in my bedroom or anywhere that's just inconvenient, I utilize that as another list to add to my Sunday Basket and it's great. One thing that I learned from Lisa and Organized 365 that has really changed me is that there's no standard for organization. That I, you know, always put my silverware in the same drawer. I always did this. I always— because that's just, that's just what you do. And Lisa really helped me to understand, to think outside of the box of, you know, do what works for your family and your lifestyle. And, you know, Have your office in your bedroom if that's what works for you, or have your, you know, just you can, you can move things around and it's, it's okay. Your house isn't gonna burn down. You're not gonna, you know, do what works for you. And it has, it has just changed my life as far as staying more organized. I think my concern with starting the Sunday Basket was The price and then whether or not I was going to follow through with it and keep it as a lifestyle. And so I started my own without purchasing and just trying to get the system down. And after doing that for about a month or two, I loved it and it was just inconvenient because I didn't have it set up the way she did with the right colors and all that kind of stuff. So that's when I ordered a Sunday Basket and I love it so much better. It's so much more convenient. So the problems that I wanted to solve with the Sunday Basket were pretty much just trying to solve my personal deficits in remembering things or just trying to hold on to things that I could just put them all in one location and I can keep going back to it. Or if my kids had an idea or my husband had an idea or something that he needed me to act on or whatever, he would just write it down on a note card and throw it in my Sunday Basket and It has drastically changed how our life works and having it, I mean, it's made me less depressed. I feel less stressed about trying to keep track of so many things at one time. And I'm forgetting a lot less things. I just feel more organized just having that. And then I talk to everybody about it all the time because I'm just like, you guys, this has changed my life. My neighbors walk in the house and I'm like, have I ever told you about the Sunday Basket? Because this thing is amazing. So since doing the Sunday Basket now, I've been doing it for several, probably 8, 9 months now, and I just also purchased the All Access. So I'm doing the 100-day, and that is also amazing. Check out the All Access and I'm sure there's gonna be reviews on that also. I'll probably do another one then. But I just, I can't tell you enough about how much it's changed my life. It has just, it's been a total game changer. My husband loves it, I love it. And I don't always get to it every single week, but over the summer there isn't a whole lot in it, so I've been able to kind of go through it when I'm like, okay, it's time. And it's just, it's great. I highly recommend it. I think you guys will absolutely love it, and I can't even tell you enough great things about it. So give it a try.
