When it's courses or products, I think it's pretty important to go about it in a way of serving your people and getting out in public enough to know what people actually want. So here are four things that I think are vital for if you want to downsize your fear before you go for it and create something and also giving people what they want so that you know that it actually sells. Hey, everyone. Welcome back to the earn your happy podcast. It's time for another quickie because there's always time to fit in inspiration. I just want to give a really big thank you to all of you because we have been moving up in the charts in entrepreneurship on Apple podcasts, and that's literally all because of you guys who rate, review, and also share with your friends. Those are huge things that help us take a giant leap. And I have to tell you already because of the rankings, I have been tagging different people and posting our rankings. I believe believe we were number 15 this morning in all of entrepreneurship on Apple, and I tagged some people who were next to me and they immediately responded that they wanted to come on the show. So I just have to tell you that the more that we get ranked, the better the guests we can also get. And I think that that is so exciting because it's access I wouldn't typically get to people, maybe people who have such large followings and audiences and such successful careers that it's really hard to access them. And it's such a cool way to be able. Shout out your podcast and also say, hey, we'd love to have you on. So I want to give a big thank you to all of you who helped me rank in the top. I. I'm. My goal is like top 10, you guys. My goal is top 10. I feel like we can get there as a team. Let's do it. Tell me what to do better. Tell me how to be better. Also, I have to tell you another big thank you. This is like, deepest gratitude for my podcast people. I just love when you tag me and, like, I get to find out who's listening and where you are and where you're walking, driving, working, all of the things my link or my code happy for Glossy is like the most popular code that comes through. So I'm really, really pumped about that. Meaning you guys are attributing to most of our sales for Glossy. So I just want to say a massive, massive thank you also for that, for giving it a try. It is my heart and soul, for sure. Hands down, it's a product That I swear by that I'm using two to three times a day. I'm actually in Park City right now. We are driving home from our Wisconsin lake house through to Arizona so I can go speak at Powerhouse Women and then back to California, and we're taking one day in between In Park City, we rented an Airbnb and that means I'm in elevation. I'm at 7,000 something feet right now. And last night when we got in, I was like, I am doubling up on my gloy. I'm super hydrating. Because if you guys don't know about elevation, like, it's real. So tons of hydration. I felt great. My gut feels good. My skin looks great. I'm going to be speaking in two days. So I'm doing all of the things that I'm like. Girl wants to look good on stage. Not going to lie, not going to lie. And when you're traveling cross country, it's not super easy because, you know, I have to just try to. I took my shakes. I have my shakes religiously with me that I use. I also use Isagenic shakes that I've used for so long. So I take them traveling with me. I'm trying to eat a healthy dinner and I'm doing my glossy and tons of hydration. So we're gonna do it. We're gonna feel great once we get there, even though I'm not really having time to prep. And all you ladies who are listening, like, I have a nail appointment today, a rando nail appointment, which I'm sure will be totally great. One of my friends actually lives here part time, so I was like, girl, tell me where I can get my nails done because I'm looking crazy after being at the lake house all summer and not doing any upkeep. And I have to go be on a stage in front of 800 women now. We're all going to be, you know, feeling and looking their best. So you know how it is. You want to feel good, you just want to feel good. So anyway, going to go get my nails done today in Park City. I'm doing some work today. I'm taking all the glossy, I'm doing all of the things. I'm playing catch up. And then we get on the road tomorrow. We did a. We did a 14 hour day yesterday. Are you kidding me? With two sheepadoodle dogs. We actually did really, really good. Listened to a book and also listened to some podcasts and it was great. Oh, yes. And I will also be self tanning in the car. On a ten hour drive tomorrow. So let's hope I don't over process and look like an Oompa Loompa, but there's a possibility, There is a possibility that that could happen. Okay, so I want to talk about how to downsize your fear and give people want. I think that when a lot of people go into entrepreneurship or a product, or they're going to launch a. A course or they're going to write a book, like, there are two ways that you can go about it. You can go about it from a place of I want to do this because I want to do this about this topic. I want to talk about these things. I don't care what other people need or want. This is something on my soul that I know needs to come out that I believe to my core will resonate with people. Now, there are times in life where I think that's really important, especially when it comes to do with a book, things like that. When it's courses or products, I think it's pretty important to go about it in a way of serving your people and getting out in public enough to know what people actually want. So here are four things that I think are vital for if you want to downsize your fear before you go for it and create something and also giving people what they want so that you know that it actually sells. Number one, survey. Do not underestimate the power of surveying people. I'm telling you right now, we are in a sweet spot in the world with Instagram and TikTok and, you know, being able to do all of these different things online where we can survey people. Before I created Glosi, we sent out surveys to a bunch of different groups and put it into different Facebook groups. I was putting it online, I was talking to people. I was out in the world figuring out what people wanted. I was asking really specific questions and trying to find out what it was that we could launch that I thought would sell to my audience. Not only this, I was looking at, you know, at the time I had some sponsors on my podcast and I was like, who are the sponsors that keep renewing because I'm not able to see their numbers? They keep that from you for the most part. Most people do. But I was looking at who was upping with me continually. I was like, oh, this is interesting. This particular product continues to renew yearly. That must mean that I'm doing really well with this product. What would a similar product to this be? All right, number two, go to events. Go to events where your audience is Go get in the groups, get in the breakout groups. Ask questions. Listen to the questions that people are asking the people on stage. Listen to the conversations that are being had in the hallways. Listen, observe. Be a fly on the wall. Take notes. Before I did a big event, before I started Bliss Project, I went to so many events. And I didn't just go to the events. I went as an observer of how the audience was experiencing it. So I was like, okay, where does this break down? Where do I hear people talking about like, ooh, this isn't a good experience? Where do I see in the hallway where they're in line for too long? Where do I see that they're not enjoying, you know, the check in experience because it's taking too long? Or it didn't feel very welcoming. Like, it didn't feel like they were being greeted. It didn't feel like if you had nerves that people were, you know, talking to the nervous people. It didn't feel like certain fears were really being approached properly. Where, you know, when people come into an event, they're nervous, they're freaked out, they're scared. How could. Where are people getting lost? Like, how are these people in the corner? They're not looking like they're a part of the event. Like, why isn't that being spoken to? You guys, I was like the ultimate observer at events. And I believe that that is why we put on some of the best events out there, is because no detail was left unnotice. For me.

After going to events for so many years and not just being there as an attendee. The last three years of going to events because I knew I wanted to do them, I went there as an observer of how attendees were experiencing the event. From check in to check out to how did I feel? Did I feel excited? Did I feel nervous? Did I feel like people were friendly? All of these things, you guys are so, so important. So go to events, listen to the questions, listen to what people want, listen what people are eating, drinking, doing all the feedback. And I'm telling you, this is how you're gonna get an event or the questions or courses or whatever that is that you wanna launch. This is how you're going to get those answers. Okay, here's another one. This is number three. Go to Masterminds, you guys. If you are looking to launch A course, a product. If you are looking for customers, if you are a B2B business, if you are a service based business, you guys, you can't be in a better room than going to a mastermind where your customers are and also listening other entrepreneurs need and what questions they're asking. You can't go and create something without getting in the rooms and knowing what people actually want. And number four, take the courses. If you're about to launch a course, there is no better way to learn than to get into someone's funnel and watch how they sell and get in the groups with the courses and watch how these breakouts happen and replicate. Do not copy, replicate, right? If something is working, it's working for a reason. Put your own spin on it. Give credit where credit is due, but get your butt into the courses. All of these people who like, we'll hear them in different masterminds or different rooms where they're like, I'm launching a course, I'm doing this thing. I don't know anything about it. I'm like, well, what courses have you taken? What did you like about it? What didn't you like? What did the people say? And they have no clue. I'm like, you are literally wasting your time because you're about to launch something that isn't going to be great and won't do well because you don't know what is working and what isn't. So why not go invest into some courses that you know are crushing it, who you know is doing really well and then go and do your own based off of replication. You guys, I will never do something again where I don't go and study what is working first because it's a shame. Shortcut. And I just heard it. Jen Gottlieb just did a great post. She was just at a mastermind where someone at the mastermind had said going and doing these things right? Like going to masterminds and going and learning from people who have done them. Going to events is like if Tom Brady went and taught his opponent how to be a quarterback, like how to throw a spiral. You were literally learning from the greats, like from people who are successful. And you're shortcutting all of that time and you're not wasting all of that money on your launching and all of your marketing on something that may not be great yet. So you guys, this is how to downsize your fear and give people what they want. Downsizing your fear. That whole portion is getting in the rooms with the people who are doing takes Away all the fear because you're like, oh, I didn't know what to charge. This freaked me out. Now I do. Now I know that she has the same background as me, and she had never launched, and this is what she started with, and this is what she worked up to. Right? Oh, you had never done an event before. This is how you felt. Now I have someone to voice note the week prior to event when I'm freaking out. I can literally talk to you and be like, okay, what was this like? What did you feel? Did you feel this freaked out? What. What were the things that you. The rituals that you did before this? Downsize your fear by getting in the rooms with people who have done it before, having those conversations, and also understanding what people want. This is so basic, you guys. This is so, so easy. Okay, I wouldn't say easy. This is simple. Simple. It's a little bit challenging. But I'm telling you, if you want to be successful, this is what successful people do. They go and search and they ask questions, and they are relentless. Be relentless. Or live a life that just. You're always wondering, what if? And that is so not the person that I know that you came here to be. So work a little harder, be a little smarter, and you actually get to experience a part of yourself that you will be so damn proud of. And I know that that's who you are. I know that that's what you want, and I believe in you. You're not listening to this podcast because you don't believe you can be great. There is a part of you that knows it. There's a part of you that's called to it, and that is the part that you have to just lean into. And as my friend Jen Gottlieb says again, we're gonna quote her twice on this. You just have to believe a little bit more than you don't. You just have to be at 51%. I'm sending you guys so much love. And until next time, earn your happy. Bye, everyone.
