The Audacity Formula Required to Win 2026
13 Nov 2025 · 23 min
Lori Harder argues that winning in 2026 means choosing audacity over perfection. She walks through how Amanda Francis self-published her way to success and how Harder's own fundraising and Glossy work required relentless focus and consistency, not flawless execution. The formula: adopt an audacious identity, master attention and funnels, build a strong team, and treat rejection as feedback.

2026 is not asking you to be perfect. It's asking you to be consistent. It's asking you to be focused. And it's asking for the most courage that you've ever had in your entire life. People think that one post, one reel, one launch, one thing is going to change everything. You're underestimating what success actually requires. Hey, everyone, welcome back to the podcast. It's time for another quickie because there's always time to fit in inspiration. And I will tell you, I am about to give you lots of permission this year. So if you have been waiting to step into something real big, real loud, really audacious, this is the year that you're gonna need to listen to this podcast. Because 2026 is not asking you to play safe. It's asking you to be better, louder, bolder, and more unapologetic. And if that just shooketh you, I hope that it did in the best way. I hope that you know that this is the year where you don't get to choose if you want to start being louder or speaking up. You actually have to this year, and I'm going to tell you why. If you don't start speaking up, you do not even get the ability to have the dream that you want. You don't get the ability to have that business, to be an entrepreneur, to have the podcast. Because if you do not commit to this vision, to this dream, and to yourself this next year, in 2026, it will not be enough to sustain anything. You have to go all in. 2026 is the year of standing out, being unapologetic, and going all in on your dream. Or you will blend in with everybody else and the algorithm will smother you out. So what I want to share with you is this is all possible for all of you listening. If that just freaked you out for a moment, I kind of hope that it did. Because there's no more being wishy washy on this calling that you know you have in your soul. And if you're sitting on the fence, all that means is there's a fence post up your ass and you're very uncomfortable. So let's get you off of the fence and onto the other side of your dream. Because if you are in the middle, I know how much pain you're in. I know how uncomfortable you are. I know the backlash that you're fighting with from your family and your friends and wondering if you'll be accepted and worrying about who's seeing your social media and worrying about one or two Comments from some trolls. Or from a friend, or from a high school friend, or from someone back in the day, or from someone who doesn't understand that you're not who you used to be. I get it. But that is literally keeping you in the middle. And the middle is the most painful place to be. Don't get me wrong, all in feels insane. It does. It feels stretchy. It feels painful. It can keep you up at night. But at least you are moving towards becoming the woman that you know that you came here to be. Case Kenny always says this. He says life meets you at the level of your audacity. It's not your intentions, you guys, and it's not your to do list. It's not the niceness that you know you have in your heart or how nice you are to the people that you have in your life. Those are beautiful and those are so important. And if you know me, that is like vital that you treat every single person with the utmost respect because it does pay off. But if we are talking about business, it has to be the level of your audacity that you are willing to be seen trying before you're perfect and to hold your vision louder than other people's opinions. The women who are breaking through right now, they're not necessarily more talented you, they're just more audacious and they're more focused. So focus. That's a tough one for me. I get it. I truly, truly believe that I have ADD in the worst way. I am so challenged, you guys, in paying attention and focusing on things. As you can probably see by my career throughout life, just so many different things and pivots. But this year especially is about needing to be audacious and focused. So last night I threw a dinner with a woman named Amanda Francis. If you don't know who Amanda Francis is, she wrote the book Rich as fuck in 2020. She self published that book in 2020. And that's how I found her. Since we've become friends, I've had her on the podcast, we've gone on a few walks, and we decided once I had a dinner at my house with a bunch of women and she was one of the people I invited. She was like, hey, I'd love to host one of these with you at my home. And I was like, absolutely, let's do it. It's about connecting women. It's about supporting each other. It's about getting out there. So last night we had a dinner in her gorgeous home in Bel Air and we were like, introing each other. And I was chatting about her and just for context, again, she wrote a book called Rich as Fuck. Self published, did not have a publisher, which was kind of faux pas back in the day. It was kind of like, okay, you're going to self publish. Is it as credible? Like a publisher was very much seen as like, that's the legitimacy of like being an author, being published by, you know, a big company. And she literally said, fuck that. I'm going to cut out the middleman and I'm going to self publish myself and risk it all. I am going to bet on me. And there's actually a lot riding on that because a lot of times what a lot of people don't know is that if you self publish and it doesn't go well and you go to publish a book, the publisher looks at the sales of the self publishing book and will reflect the amount of money that you get or if you get a deal or not dependent upon how well that went. So there's actually a lot riding on it, especially if you think you want to later on go down the road of getting a publisher or getting a deal. So she had bet on herself in a time that was very much about being published and trying to get on the New York Times list, which means also that you most of the time always need a publisher for that. So bet on herself in 2020 during a pandemic, wrote the title of a book called Rich as Fuck during a pandemic, and she went on to sell hundreds of thousands of copies where she gets to keep majority of that money. Now, if that doesn't say audacity, I literally don't know what does. She literally bought billboards of herself on Sunset Boulevard sitting in a bathtub full of money. That's not ego, that's identity. She decided who she was before the world realized it, before the world could even decide for her. And if you don't claim your own audacious version of you, you're going to spend your life trying to be someone else or promoting someone else's work. So you can't play small, you guys, and expect big results, especially in 2026. Audacity is an identity. It's not a moment, it's not a moment in your day. It's not one time a week, it's every single day. How can you show up as the woman who actually fucking believes in this vision that she has? It's me right now going on stories every day because I have a fundraise for glossy saying I believe in this product, this is going to be a household name. I want you to be a part of this every day. That is on my checklist. I. I have a large post it in front of me like the huge paper post its and it's on an easel and we write down burning goals every single week. And there's a reason we call it that, but I can't tell you right now. You'd think I was absolutely insane. That's a story for another time. So every week I have on here, every single day, I am posting a story and I'm talking about fundraising and I'm talking about our two masterminds. I'm talking about mentor, collective mastermind for 500k and below, and I'm talking about our elite Entrepreneur mastermind for 500k and above. Why am I starting to do this? Why are you going to start seeing me not care at all about comments about judgment, about being annoying, if I'm being too much, if I'm talking too much about this, if I'm annoying people. Why? Because I believe if this is not an identity for you, you are not going to achieve what you want. You cannot play small and expect big results. Audacity is an identity. It's not a moment. So the level of resistance or judgment that you can hold is going to determine the level of success that you can have. End of story, period. Anyone that you see online that you're like, I love her content. Oh my gosh, this girl's amazing. They simultaneously have DMs full of trolls and people being rude to them or comments underneath there that actually are actually boosting their engagement. So any negative comment is also going to boost your engagement. You might as well start looking at it as a good thing. So every time I've stepped into a new version of myself, I've also met new critics. And that's the tax of being visible. This is the price that you pay for being visible. Is someone in your family saying something, someone commenting on your cute little business, or how is that going? Or, you know, whatever the comment is that you are afraid of, you might as well do a little meditation around how you're going to handle it and let it go when it comes. Because if you're holding this fear of something bad happening, your focus is so much on the fear of something bad happening that there's no way you can get into the identity and momentum of someone who doesn't give a. Does that make sense? I need you to literally lean into what would my future audacious self who has the money, who has the house, who has the body, who has the clothes, who has the husband, who has all of these things, who has this insane friendship circle, who has the support, who has the. This amazing relationship with God, who has the children, who has whatever it is that you want. How would she respond to these things that are happening in your life? She'd probably say, I don't really care because I. All of those things are so worth it now. Like, of course you're still gonna feel those things, but the level of how long you're gonna care for when you really look around at what was so worth it. I need you to focus on that vision harder than anything else. Because in 2026, this is the reality check. We're entering into a new era of visibility. It's not enough to have a great product or a great message anymore. You need mastery and attention. And you need mastery in attention. So you're either going to become world class, you guys. You're either going to become the best. So good. And this takes time. This can take a year. This can take two years. But it doesn't matter. You got all the time in the world. Because if you don't start now, obviously you're going to be saying the same thing a year from now. Two years from now, right now is the best time that you can possibly start. Do not let this make you feel behind. Make this get you excited about the fact that if you have focus and you start learning how to do these things, you are going to be successful. Because there are going to be so many people who don't have focus. You guys, focus is the thing that we are losing faster than anything. Focus is the thing we are losing faster than anything. So anyone who can focus is going to start getting momentum. So you're either going to become so good at audience acquisition or you're going to become amazing at leadership and team building and funnel building. You're gonna learn all of these different things that maybe you have a smaller audience, but because you're so good at funnels and manychat and converting people and sales. Copy that. It doesn't matter if you have a smaller audience because even though it's small, the people who come convert at a higher rate. Right. Or you're gonna be so good at attention and your funnels are just so. So that it's gonna be like, okay, well, I'm great at attention, so we're converting at a lower rate, but we're still doing okay over here. And I want you to realize the Algorithms just rewarding people who are relentless about getting better this year. So 2026 is not asking you to be perfect. It's asking you to be consistent. It's asking you to be focused. And it's asking for the most courage that you've ever had in your entire life. It's asking for the most courage that you can possibly muster up. So you know there's an expectation hangover happening with people out there. And people think that one post, one real, one launch, one one thing is going to change everything. And you're not failing, you're underestimating what success actually requires. So everybody preaching soft girl era, Soft girl era is earned. And I know that this might be like Lori's preaching hustle culture or whatever that looks like great. You know what you got to do whatever is different than what you're doing right now or whatever got you here. And if more so if you think more soft girl is going to get there, I, I urge you to try it and see if it works for six months. But then I also say let's come back to this plan because we need you to really focused and great at something. So if that means because you are now so much more focused and becoming a master of something that you're putting everything else off your plate and you can just focus on this, great. Maybe you can be soft girl in other areas, but you're just hard ass focused girl in one area that's getting you so many eyeballs and so much attention. Then that's when we can chat. So you are going to get rewarded for what you focus on the most this year. If you're posting less because your engagement is down, you're confirming that your validation matters more than your mission. I need you to get so focused on learning from posting more and learning what is working for you, for your audience and what is working for that mission that you have and how you're going to speak to your people. And when you're thinking of posting, when you're thinking of putting all your stuff out there, I need you to be more clear than cute. There's so many things out there that are just cute and you're trying to do plays on words and you're trying to come up with things that you know. A new framework that no one has ever heard of. A new thing you're going to put people through that no one has ever heard of. You guys clear. Clear is kind. Clear pays the bills. Clear gets you money. Cute does not work anymore. People need to be able to say in one or two sentences, why they want to hire you, what problem you're solving and what you do and if they can't do this, if your friends can't tell you this, if your family can't tell you, then you need to go back to your messaging. So you guys, audacity isn't reckless. This is not just going out there and just being crazy and being rude to people and throwing yourself out there at the cost of hurting other people or standing for something that is, you know, putting throwing someone under the bus. This is about getting so clear on your mission and intentional on your mission. It's strategic boldness. So the woman who's going to win in 2026, they're the ones who talk about what they're building every single day. They are rewiring how they see rejection and they look forward to it as feedback. Master the skill of storytelling and visibility. This is huge, you guys, and you need to build team in the structure to sustain whatever is coming your way. And you literally cannot shrink and scale at the same time. You have to know that you are going to feel like you want to run. You're going to feel scared. You're going to feel like this is the most stretchy and expansive experience that you've ever had in your life. And you're going to have to just sit there and hold it. You're going to have to sit there and hold it. Right before I turned this podcast on and hit record, I'm in a very stretchy, expansive place right now. Like, I need you to know that this is the most stretched I've ever felt in my entire life. And sometimes I feel like I can't hold it all. In fact, every day right now, I question, can I do this? Can I hold this? Am I the person for this? I feel like I don't know what I'm doing a lot of days. And I just said a prayer right before I hit record. I said, God, you gotta take this from me. Like, you have to help me hold this. You have to help me get Stronger. You have to show me the path. You have to bring the right people into my life and I trust that you will. And I trust that if I just keep going and put one foot in front of the other and keep working as hard as I can to help people in the same place that I am or help the prior me from a year ago, two years ago, five years ago, I promise God I'll keep showing up. I need you to show up for me and I need to take some of this. And so there is no way that I am going to do all of this right now and all of this that I'm telling you in 2026 without the help of God or something bigger than me. So whatever you believe, you are really going to need to get a deep, deep connection with your spirituality or that type of energy in order to become this person. I haven't met one person that I look up to who has what I want in the life that I want, in the family that I want, who has not told me that they have to rely on God more they than they can possibly tell it. Like more than they can say, like more than they even let people know. So you guys, life is going to meet you at the level of your audacity. It's going to meet you where you're willing to put yourself out there. I want you to ask yourself, what would your 10 time more audacious self do today than your current self? That's keeping her right here? And where are you playing safe because you're afraid of being judged? What identity are you ready to step into? Even if it costs approval, even if it costs comments, even if it costs days and days of nasty comments on a post. The next version of you isn't waiting. She's literally watching to see if you're finally going to show her that you're serious, you guys. So if you want help this year, if you want to be around people who are thinking big, if you need this type of permission, if you need to be in a room with this type of energy, everybody pushing forward, you guys, we have the mentor collective which is 500k and below, and then we have the elite entrepreneur Mastermind. If you're 500k or above and you are trying to break that seven figures or your past seven figures and you're trying to double that or whatever that looks like for you, whatever that next level is, you need to be in a room with this much fire in their soul about moving forward. You need to get the strategies that you are not doing now. You need to be around the people who have done it before. You need to be in a room full of people who have more belief than doubt. And so I would love for you guys to message me. You can either message me the word elite for the elite entrepreneur 500k and above, or you can message me the word mentor for 500k and below. But I would absolutely love to work with you for the next six months or year, depending on which one that you go into. But it is Mastermind filling season. This is when you start to set yourself up for 2026, and if you don't want your year to look the same as it did in 2025, you need to do something different and it will drastically depend on who you have around you in the room. And I really hope that I get to be that person who gets to pour so much fire into your vision with you. You guys. So I'm so grateful for you. I have been where you are. I know what this feels like because I'm doing it right alongside of you. I'm finding the mentors. I'm also in the masterminds. I'm doing the things. I have huge goals for myself. I have visions for who I want to be in the world. I have huge visions for Glo. I have huge visions for my personal brand. I am finding all of the things that are working and I'm going to run through a wall this year and I hope that I get to lock arms with you. So, you guys, I'm sending you so much love and until next time, earn your happy. Bye, everyone.
