What is the life that you know you are meant to be living right now and in between that place that you just pictured and the exact spot that you are right now are simply just decisions, choices, and activities that need to show up on your calendar. That is it. We just have to figure out how to manage the time and put the things on our calendar and how to show up for them. Hey, everyone, welcome back to the show. It's time for another quickie because there's always time to fit in inspiration. And I'm so obsessed with the fact that you fit in this podcast to your day, whether you're getting ready, whether you're on a walk, whatever it is, you guys, you have to go tune in to positive propaganda. That's what my husband calls it. You literally have to go and choose the things that are going to make you think better thoughts, vibrate higher and have more energy. So I am always looking for the things that are going to make me wake up and actually want to go for my goals. Right. Because if it's left up to us, we're kind of not the best influence on ourselves necessarily in the morning. So a couple cool things coming up. If you have not listened to any of our Living Room sessions yet, and when I say our, I mean, one of my best friends, Lindsay Schwartz, and I do live podcasts once a month. And you guys can come to these. All you have to do is DM me. Let me know if you want to be there. If there are tickets, which right now it's sold out. But if there are tickets to any upcoming ones, we will send you a link. So go check out the Living Room Sessions, and here's why. They are so much fun. They're so real, they're so candid. And they are filmed and recorded in front of an audience. And not just that, the first hour is all on a topic that's near and to our heart, Something that is, we really feel is kind of being talked about right now. Something that we want to talk about and share to make sure that you guys get to your goals and dreams and don't get stuck somewhere. And also the second part is a live Q and A, which is with the audience. And these are questions that are on everybody's mind. And that's why I love it so much, is because you just find that you are exactly like everybody else. And that kind of just makes you feel like you're not alone on this journey. Next thing, I am gonna be speaking at Growth Day in Austin, so you guys can go and check that out@growthday.com there is a live event, the Growth Day Live in Austin in April. So mid April. Go and check that out, see if the dates align. I would love to see you. It's already half sold out, you guys. And I believe they've already sold about, oh gosh, I think 2,500 tickets. So you absolutely want to go grab your seat. There's going to be incredible speakers there. Brendon Burchard is going to be speaking there, you guys. He is the reason that I got into memberships and online businesses and now he's the reason I'm expanding even more in my brand and on this podcast. So. So if you want him to play a major role in your life, you gotta show up, you gotta go be in his energy and in his space. And this is gonna be the best way to do it is to actually be at the event that he is putting on. I promise you it is going to be incredible. So I wanna talk to you today about the secrets to time management. And this is something that I really struggle with. But I've also learned how to work around my procrastination, how to work around all of the resistance that around the goals that I have. Am I talking to you right now? Like we've got these really big goals and when it comes down to it, when we go to do the thing that we have put in our calendar, it's like you feel major resistance or maybe something is not getting done and you look that it's not on your calendar and time is the great equalizer. Steven Pressfield said most of us have two lives. The life we live and the unlived life within us. Between the two stands resistance and you have an unlived life within you right now. I want you just to take a minute, maybe take a deep breath, and you just really think about the life that you know, that you know you are meant to be living right now. What is the life that you know you are meant to be living right now? And in between that place that you just pictured and the exact spot that you are right now are simply just decisions, choices and activities that need to show up on your calendar. That is it. We just have to figure out how to manage the time and put the things on our calendar and how to show up for them. He also says, which if you follow me at all, you might know that this is one of my favorite quotes. If not, you're gonna love it. I just know it. Steven Pressfield says the more important a call to action is to our soul's evolution, the more resistance we will feel about answering it. The more important a call to action is to our soul's evolution, the more resistance we'll feel around answering it. So the more important a thing is for your big dream, the more resistance you're gonna feel around it. Even if you have something right now on your calendar that you've been wanting to do, you've been dreaming about it might be coming up, and you're like, maybe I won't go. Maybe I'll cancel. I literally need to leave for a dance class in 10 minutes, you guys. And I have had so much resistance around going tonight, I've almost canceled, like, five times. Even though I know I'm gonna love it when I'm done, Even though I love it when I'm there, even though I know that it's giving me things to talk about, even though I know it's expanding me, even though I know it's challenging my brain and my body, even though I'm meeting incredible people there, even though all of these good things, I still feel incredible resistance around it. I want to share with you real quick. There's a study done on the top three human regrets on people's deathbeds. Number one is that they were not reflective enough at an earlier time about figuring out their values and why they were here. They didn't take the time to actually figure out what their values were and live for those. And they didn't even bother to figure out why they were here, and they wish they would have so that they could live their lives accordingly. Number two, they regret not being loving enough even in the small moments. Right. What are we withholding? Are we withholding those compliments? Are we not giving that extra hug? Are we not running to the door when our loved one leaves just to say, hey, don't leave without a hug or a kiss. Number three, that we didn't take enough risks to live the life that they wanted to live or live their purpose. That they didn't take enough risks to live the life that they wanted to live or live out their purpose. So if we go back to what the difference is of having these regrets on our deathbed or not, it is the difference of figuring out why you're here and what you want and actually getting those things scheduled into your calendar. Because I can take one look at your calendar right now and tell you if you're going to reach your dreams or not or if you're going to have these deathbed regrets. And in our culture, we live as though we're not dying. In our culture, we don't think about death at all. In our culture, death is, you know, something that we put away. We don't want to think about it. We, you know, even when someone passes right away, the funeral is what, two hours of our day? And, you know, the viewing of the body is 15 minutes, and it's out of sight, out of mind, you know, move on, get past it. People are thinking that the mourning process is like, okay, well, funeral's done, and we forget that the people are left there to mourn for years. And when we think about death, if we actually started thinking about it, if we actually realized how very mortal we were, if we actually knew that today somebody woke up and it was their last day, if we actually knew the amount of time we had and we got really real with it, I promise you that your calendar would look a lot different and you'd be dealing with all of this resistance in a much different way. We would start changing our perspective and understand that every single moment is truly important. While we're scrolling social media, while we're wasting time, while we're saying, I'll do it tomorrow, these are the days that our life is made up of. These are the hours that we're robbing from our dreams. So I want you just to take a minute and start to maybe look at number one that I had read about, trying to figure out why you're even here. Maybe after this podcast, or maybe starting right now, you take a little bit of time just to say, God, why do I think I am here? What do I love? Who would I love to help? What would I love to do? Who could I help right now? What's a cause that makes me want to get out of bed and go and figure it out? Or what's a cause that makes me angry enough to help someone? Right? Meaning what's a cause that you feel like angers you and you want to make change within that certain area? Is it animals? Is it children? Is it hunger? Is it financial literacy? Is it empowering women around making money? Is it, you know, do you want to see something done differently? And I'm not saying to go out there and start something over. Maybe there's something you could even join. Maybe there's someone right now that, you know, you could reach out to and help.

I just watched the movie Otto over the weekend and let me tell you, if you're not ready for a tearjerker, skip this movie. But it was one of those movies that just makes you really in tune with your life and how important it is to manage your time. To figure out some secrets on how to manage your time. And he I won't tell the whole movie but he really starts diving in after being in a really low place to helping people. And you'll watch this transformation of how helping other people is the way to a better life and the way to your goals and the way to your dreams. Highly recommend watching it just to get back in tune with what's actually important in our lives. So I want to share with you a couple of hacks that I do in order to schedule some things into my schedule. I really get specific on what my biggest three needle moving action items would be that week. What are the three things that if I do these will get me closer to a business goal, a health goal and a relationship goal. And I put them in my schedule on a Sunday night so I don't wait until Monday morning to plan these things. I have these planned either Sunday night before the week or I have them planned weeks in advance. Because if you just wake up one day and say I'll figure it out tomorrow, you will not figure it out ever. You will not figure it out ever. It has to be on the calendar and it has to be done in a realistic way. If you say, hey, you know what, I'm gonna plan my 30 social posts for the month and I'm gonna do that in two hours. Okay? If you've never done it in two hours and you know that this is a place that you struggle, maybe you need two days. Maybe you need two days of four hour time blocks in each one and give yourself some grace around it. Maybe if you haven't been getting to the gym and you have on there.
That you're going to be at the.
Gym at 9 o' clock, but you didn't schedule that. You need to pick out your gym clothes and you need to prep for the day and you need to start thinking of these things by 7am Then you're not going to be there at 9. You're going to miss that appointment. So I start backing up and saying, what's a realistic amount of time that I actually need in order to get myself to learn what the timeframe is that I. That I'm gonna get this done and so that I don't feel overwhelmed and completely defeated because I didn't end up doing the thing. So back up and see how much time you would actually need. And maybe you're just getting started on this whole time scheduling thing and you need to just literally give yourself one thing a week that you need to get done. So I don't even wanna give you more hacks than this. Because if you guys can just do this and get those one to three things on your calendar, you will start living a more intentional life so that you don't have those deathbed regrets. Less is more with this, I'm telling you, less is more. So I want to know what you're going to schedule. Tag me. Literally. I mean it. Go schedule it in your calendar right now. Schedule on Sunday that you're going to sit and schedule the important things. So put that in your calendar for two hours that you are going to create your schedule for the next week. Everything that you need, you're going to think it through. You're going to think of how, how long it takes, you're going to put it in the calendar, you're going to put reminders on and you're also going to remind yourself that this is going to keep you from having regrets. This is going to get you to live that life that you want. This is your life. Every single day. Your calendar is going to be the result of how you have lived your life. It's going to be the person that you become. Every one of those activities and remember, you're going to feel resistance around it, but you're going to show up anyway. I believe in you. I love you. I want you to live that life. You guys, if I can do it, you can do it. I believe in you. I'm so grateful for you. And until next time, earn your happy. Sam.
