You cannot have part time faith. It's all in or it's all out according to the universe. Right? Like you can feel the fear, but you have to believe. You have to trust that everything is happening for you and next level, like I said, not just that trust that everything's happening for you, but trust that you actually called this in as a lesson or as a stepping stone in the path for you to become the person you were meant to be.

It's time for another quickie because there's always time to fit in. Inspiration and I just got back from Powerhouse Women 2024. If you don't know what it is, it is a women's event all about networking, all about growing your business. It is a one day event put on by one of my besties, Lindsay Schwartz. You guys, it has been so cool to watch the evolution of this event. I remember speaking at it, I believe for the first time in 2018. And I think she had one event before that, but I've been to all of them after it, but it had 800 women there. 800. Now I have done events for years and our event on year seven or eight, I think we were over like five or six hundred. And let me just tell you, the lift to get there is really intense. Like the route and path to growing an event is no joke. So to watch the ripple effect and the energy of this event and how it's attracted so many, not just like, you know, yeah, great. There were people there, like really incredible human beings. I'm so freaking proud of her and the speakers and getting to see my friends and also getting to have my very first ever glossy activation. Yes, that is glossy and basically like a mojito, by the way. All mocktails. I think you Picked that up when I was putting it down. We had a marglorita, a spicy margarita. For this spicy margarita, we had a little jalapeno. It was so fun getting to talk to all of you, take pictures with all of you, hug all of you. Oh, my God. I feel like I hugged like 500 people. Not that I'm not the most grateful ever, but I'm like, small potatoes compared to some of the people on this panel. And I'm sitting next to this man that I've never met before, and his name is. I might get the last name, I might say it wrong, but it's not wrong. David Guillaume. And he's talking about this incredible company that he has, and some other people are telling me about him before I even get on the panel, and how they're like, oh, my God, he's so humble. He's so incredible. He's gonna, like, blow your mind. You know, his company is X, Y and Z. It's so insanely successful. Now, he's not saying it because he's so wonderful and humble, but I'm like, what am I doing on this panel with this guy who is like, light years ahead of me? Why was I chosen for this? Okay, there's my first thing. I was more in, like, my head and disbelief at the time of that. And some of the things I did was I was like, okay, Lori. Well, he can talk about the end of the journey or not the end, but like, you know, down the road of the journey. But you can talk about the beginning. And these people need to hear both, right? That's what you have to do when you're in a situation like that. You're like, okay, I have value and God speak through me. Let me speak to the people who are just a few steps behind me. And he can cover the rest of the. Thank God, right? That's how you can cover our room. So next time you're in an experience like that, be like, good, we're covering a room. They can cover that part. I can cover this part of the journey that is little universal God breadcrumb number one. I'm like, why am I on? This is insane. And so this weekend at Powerhouse Women, I have a couple people tell me they're talking about this guy, David Kiehum. And I'm like, wait, I know this guy. Like, I was on a panel with him. They're like, oh, my God, he's so amazing, like his lessons and blah, blah. I'm like, okay, so this morning I get home and I'm like, you know what? I need a podcast. So randomly. I normally always walked with Chris, but we weren't able to walk with each other this morning. And I Didn't have the dogs either. They had already gone on a walk with someone else because we were gonna go to the gym, and it didn't work out. So I go on a walk by myself. I'm like, power walking. I'm like, I need a good podcast. What should I listen to? And I've just kind of been in that phase where it's like, I'm not feeling like anything is really hitting right? I'm just kind of like, I don't know what I need right now. Like, a dry spell from books. That's kind of how I felt a little bit. It doesn't mean there's not good ones out there. It means, for me right now, in this season, what do I need? And so I remember people talking about David this weekend. I'm like, you know what? I'm gonna just put his name in and see what podcasts come up. So I put in his name, and a podcast immediately comes up at the top with, her name is Augie, and she's a big social media biohacker and influencer, and she has a great book out, and I really like her. So I was like, you know, I'm gonna listen to this one and listen to this podcast. And it is like, something happened to me that morning that sorta, like, it didn't really take me down, but I was like, oh, that sucks. I'm noticing how this is pulling my vibe down. So we got a review that wasn't super pleasant on our website, and I was like, you know, they're coming, like, no matter what, especially the more that you do out in the world, like, if you have a TED Talk, if you have a podcast, like, they're coming for you. So it was kind of the first of its kind where I was like, oh, well, that really blows. Like, it's not exactly what I wanted to see this morning. And I'm reading it, and you're kind of taking it personal, and I'm like, what can I do? How can I make this better? And I'm just, like, kind of upset about it. And I'm listening to this podcast, and if you have not heard of this gentleman before, he talks a lot about Kabbalah, which, you know, to me, the only thing I really knew about Kabbalah was like, oh, Madonna did this a while ago. And I don't know how I feel about Madonna. And, like, I don't know how I feel about this. It's kind of like. It's weird, but once I started listening the kind of the learnings of this podcast where he's talking about Kabbalah is a lot about everything that I already feel and everything I already believe, except I feel it's explained even better. I feel like I'm getting exactly what I need to deal with challenges and how to really look at life and people and judgment and judgment of myself and grace and growth and moving forward. And it was like, it was so moving that it moved me to tears. So I want to share a couple of the things that I learned from this podcast. And now I'm like diving in. So I'll be teaching, I'll be talking about a lot of the different things that are impacting me because I'm already on like podcast number three of learning about this. So one of the things that really struck me was I'm going to paraphrase, but every negative thing and every challenge that is in your life right now, your soul has called in so that you can experience it, get through it and let go of that fear. So the things that we fear the most in the world, we may get a little taste of them or an experience or be up close and personal to it. If you are desiring massive growth and if you are desiring meeting this highest version of yourself, and also if you want to be reaching this highest version of yourself, it's learning how to look at these negative things and challenges as the opportunity to become the person that you came here to be. And so I had this moment of, oh my God, I've been like really afraid of. It's not that I don't want to hear negative reviews. I've been dreading them. I'm like, oh God. Like, I know as we grow they're going to come and I don't love how they feel. And like, I know that they're like, these people are out there, but it's not fun when it happens. And how do you like, you know, move through them and make the person happy? And, oh, my gosh, you can't make some people happy, and some of these people are so loud and blah, blah, blah, all of these different things. So, of course, if this is the fear in the back of my head and I have a very deep desire to be a vessel in the world and to help people to, you know, go for their dreams and start these businesses and to move through these challenges, then guess what I get to do. I got this lesson even sooner than I could have imagined, which is so wonderful. So thank you for letting me release these fears even quicker and work through it even faster, because I have much bigger things to do than fear. This thing that's keeping me from maybe being as big as we could be or being able to help people get out there in the world. Right? So so many people aren't afraid of the actual thing that they have to do. Like, yes, you might have nerves and it might not feel great. It's the fear of what could happen on the other side. So this podcast just really made me, like, helped me reframe how I look at anything and everything negative. Not just that it's happening for you, because you guys know if you listen to this podcast, I really believe things are happening for you, but it's next level to say, wow, my soul called that in so that I could let that fear go and learn how to cope with it and I could teach other people how to do that. Now, to be able to say that in the middle of the journey is fairly impossible. Meaning if you're new at experiencing things like this, for me, a negative comment is not new. A negative comment about my new company is newer, but a negative comment to me, not new. So I was able to move through it fairly quickly. But this helped me even more to be like, okay, what can I learn from this? How could we be better? Why did I call this in? What fears can I let go of? How am I going to handle these moving forward? And truly, again, how can I look at this, be excited for it, and say, how is this going to make me be better with customer service? How is this going to make me make my product better? How is this going to make me be a better leader? How is this going to make me let go of these things even faster? Like, I just started to say, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you to this person who left this comment instead of, oh, my God, why'd they say this?

What?

What are they thinking? This isn't even true. Why did they say these? Like, all of these things that were going on in my head at first and to get to a place where I was saying thank you. Thank you for allowing me to grow and become somebody better and stronger from this particular experience. And so, you know, at the end of the day, some people let these things rock them for long periods of time. When you have tools like this and when you hear this over and over, especially from people who are telling you, hey, this is what it looks like. This is what the path to success looks like, this is how you have to think, this is how you have to be. When you know that for certain from so many people telling you this, it's a whole lot easier to adopt the thank you than to stay in the mindset where I'm like, oh, I know this mindset is going to keep me broke. I know that when people have this mindset, they stay really small. I know when people have this mindset, they don't reach their goals. I know when people have this mindset, they stay in scarcity. So you better believe that. I am going to choose to say, you know what, full time faith. You cannot have part time faith. It's all in or it's all out according to the universe.
