A short YouTube talk by Louis Massaro ("Clarity Creates Confidence") arguing that business confidence comes from clarity: clearly defined goals, vision, time horizons (3-year, 1-year, current quarter), and the KPIs that matter. The speaker emphasizes starting "up high" with strategic clarity, then monitoring the specific numbers that guide decisions (even if some metrics seem trivial to others).

When you think about clarity, you think about your plan. You first and foremost, start. Start up high. Not like clarity like, I knew three trucks went out today, but let's start. Do you have clarity on, like, what you're after, like, what your goals are, what your vision is, what your, you know, at least your three year, your one year, you know, your current quarter, you have clarity on that. You have clarity on the numbers that matter, the KPIs that matter to you. And sometimes those shift based on what you're working on, Right? Sometimes certain numbers you have it, and you'll continue to monitor it, but it might not be such a hot topic. And sometimes the thing you want clarity on might seem silly to others. But if it makes you feel better, if you're like, hey, I want to know the percentage of guys that came in with their shirts tucked in every day, if that makes you feel better, because you've got a vision for your company of the way that they show up and the way that they present themselves, and so be it.
