Short motivational clip (YouTube) by Louis Massaro advising leaders to protect and build self-confidence in themselves and their teams. He argues that confidence drives initiative and leadership, and recommends giving team members tools, reassurance, proof of what works, and acknowledgement to nurture leadership.
If we're.
Not confident in what we're doing, we're not going to.
Step up.
We'Re not going.
To take initiative. Right.
We're not going.
To lead others.
And that's the same.
For the people that you lead.
So not only do you need to.
Protect your confidence every single day, you need to help your team build self.
Confidence by giving them the.
Tools, the.
Reassurement.
The, you.
Know, showing.
The proof of what's working.
Acknowledge them when they're doing a good job. You're planting.
Seeds, you're nourishing seeds, you're helping that grow.
And that self confidence.
Is huge. To be able to get you to that place where you need to be and cultivate leaders.
