And I wanted to talk to you about something very important today, which is, you know, always leaving great messages. Come spend three days with me and let's build a sales machine and increase your profits for your company. This is something that seems so simple, right? So before you discard this video and say, ah, you know, leaving messages for, you know, my, my prospects isn't really a big deal. It's a super, super big deal. And let me tell you why. And so first of all, you know what I'm talking about here is when you call one of your customers, right? When you're calling a lead, we all, you know, you get leads or you know, you have a follow up for someone who's know you've already given an estimate to and now you need to follow up with them, right? I can't believe how many companies aren't leaving messages. And I say that because, you know, I talk to a lot of companies and as we start to kind of go through their process and look at what they're doing in their companies, you know, they'll have salespeople that aren't leaving messages. Their logic is that, you know, they want to call the customer multiple times and they want the customer to pick up the phone and they feel if they leave a message, they, the customer's not going to pick up the phone. Right? Which is absurd. The reason it's absurd is because you're a moving company and if you're calling the customer, it's because they requested information from you. They requested a quote, right. Or you've already given them an estimate and now you're following up to show diligence with your service and to call and not leave a message in order to be able to call them back and kind of be sneaky about it. It's not the right approach. And let me tell you why you're not a bill collector. It's a must that every single time you call a customer you leave a great message. And I don't just mean any message, I mean a great message. The detail and the level of professionalism that you put into your message will determine what, whether you get that call back or not. People are having a tough time getting people on the phone. And that's all the more Reason why you have to leave a great message. You have to put yourself in a position of where the customer's coming from. You have to think about them. You have to put yourself in their shoes. In their shoes, right? They're listening to messages they're going through. They miss the calls and they're listening to messages and they see they have several messages. If your message is unclear, if your message, they don't write the phone number down quick enough. They're not going to call you back. They're just going to listen to the next person who has a clear message, who has a precise message, who leaves the phone number twice, and they're going to call that person back. This modern 2019 callbacks are more of an issue than ever before because the customers aren't picking up the phones or like they used to. What you have to remember is that they want to hear from you. Okay? So no matter what your follow up process is, right? No matter what you follow, if you follow our 2/1 method for moving sales academy or our 5x follow up for the estimate, follow up then in that, you know, part of that is always leaving a great message. And you always want to start by telling them who you are, right? Let them know, hey, this is Louis. I'm calling from neighbors moving in storage. Right? Let them know where you're calling from. Let them know why you're calling. I'm calling in request for your request for a moving estimate, right? They need to know what that is and you also need to give them the benefit of calling you back. It could be anything. Like, we're running some great specials right now. If you give me a call back, I want to go over and give you an accurate, detailed, no nonsense estimate for your upcoming move. Let them know how they can reach you. Always give your phone number, say it clearly and say it twice. So it's, you know, give me a call back. My Number here is 954-555-1212. Then slow it down. That's 954-555-1212. Then tell them who you are. Again, this is Louis. Then tell them where you're calling from. Again, from neighbors moving in storage. I really look forward to hearing from you. Hey, have a great day. That message needs to be given to every single customer, every single time that you or anyone on your team is making calls out. Because every phone call that you and your team make that you're not leaving great messages, you are leaving money on the table, period. Figure out who's leaving the best Messages in your company. All right, Create a script. Yes. For messages too. Create a script and have every single person and leave that message so that it's consistent across the board. All right? If they, wherever they sit, they should have that right there where they could see it and they're able to leave a message every single time. And it's not, you know, it needs to be non negotiable. Right. It can't be where the reps like I've got my way of doing it, right. You've got to leave these messages because we're just in an important time right now. So figure in a two day period when you're trying to get someone on the phone. If they get three messages from you, that's perfectly fine. All right? You're not being annoying, you're not being a pest, you're showing diligence. All right? When someone requests information from your company, right. And you respond to them, you're being professional. If you respond to them and they don't call you back, but you're on top of it, they're like, wow, this company's on top of stuff. So make sure you leave a messages. Make sure you go to moving seminar.com, get your tickets for moving Sales Academy Live. We're gonna sell out again this year. Make sure you're there.
