A short conversational transcript from a YouTube video (The Power of Decision-Making) where Louis Massaro and another speaker emphasize that the ability to make decisions is essential for leaders. They argue that indecision creates a persistent "cloud" of overwhelm that obscures opportunities, increases stress, and becomes a self-reinforcing habit that limits maneuverability.

One of the biggest things for me.
As a leader.
That we must have.
Is ability.
To make decisions.
Our stress.
Our overwhelm, our feeling like we can't take on more. That's going to be a burden. I don't know if I'm going to be able to handle it.
All of that.
Comes down to decisions. We need to be able to make the decisions, otherwise when we don't. Right.
If we really question.
Our thinking, we think about our thinking. How many times are we taking decisions that we need to make and we're just kind of tossing them up into that indecision cloud?
Well, that cloud.
Follows you around everywhere that you go, and.
You start to see all.
Your opportunities.
All your obstacles.
Your joyful moments. Everything is.
Clouded by the cloud.
I mean, essentially you can't see things straight. And the more decisions.
We put off.
And we get in that habit of putting decisions off and putting decisions off.
